DHI has been nothing short of a nightmare!!!! I ordered a queen-sized bed from them back in November because they were having a special sale. After the purchase They indicated to allow 3-4 weeks for processing. After about a month has passed and I hadn't received a tracking number only a receipt, I reached out to the company to get an update, of course my calls went unanswered but a week later a representative from the sales team sent me an email with a tracking number and looped in Elizabeth, I'm guessing she is a manager, to express that I'm looking for an update on my furniture and an ETA. Did Elizabeth reply, NO of course not. It's has been 3 months and I still do not have any furniture or a refund. They are scammers! I'm warning everyone who want to shop at Dream home not to do so because they are a Nightmare. Just take my advice and think twice. read more

Service is IMPECCABLE! George, the owner and his team go above and beyond. They are great at communicating from the time we walked in to the store to the day our items were delivered. They are very professional, detail oriented, and responsive. We purchased a living room set (two couches), coffee table, and most recently, a recliner from DHI. We were able to choose the fabric and style for our couches. I chose a vanilla upholstery, dark wood, and dark studs. They turned out beautiful and exactly what I wanted! We've had them for almost a year now and are still very pleased with them. They look stylish and expensive, yet were actually very affordable. The table also looks expensive, stylish and not to mention heavy duty, but again, was very affordable. The recliner is my husband's favorite piece in our living room. We originally purchased a custom made electric recliner with blue velvet fabric, dark wood, and dark studs to match our couches. Although the chair was lovely, we weren't satisfied with the overall quality. We called and let them know we would be happy to pay more to swap for a better quality chair. They were very apologetic, even though they weren't at fault and was more than willing to help. George personally assisted us on the exchange and helped us pick out the new recliner. They let us keep the blue recliner until our new one arrived. The delivery team is polite, respectful, and on time. They delivered our items with great care. They have a wide selection of living room sets, bedroom sets, dining, patio, and so much more. If you see an item online that's not in the show room, you can ask for it to be delivered to their store to see in person. They truly value great customer service and it really shows! read more

Purchased a dining room table and chair set with a lazy susan in the middle. Love it! Returned to purchase 8 more chairs to match a dining room table we already had. Half were delayed for a couple months, but the company did call when they finally came in. Delivery drivers were cool. They even made sure to correct the chairs that were even and not wobbly. I can not believe I haven't written a review for this store. I've been shopping here for 3 years now. In fact, I won't buy furniture anywhere else. Having a great experience here depends on your expectations. Most of the things they have are not actually in stock in store, so you have to order them and wait for them to come in. This isn't Ashley Furniture or Rooms to Go. Which is fine by me, I don't like my stuff looking like everyone else's and I want a higher quality. My tastes are very specific, and to make things more difficult on myself, I'm also a cheapskate. I hate big box store furniture yet I also want big box store prices lol. Some of their merchandise is very expensive but I find that most of it is in the lower to mid price range. Regarding the comments on the financing, you need to read the agreement that you sign. There are different types of financing available. If you are choosing financing without credit check, be aware that this is 90 days without interest so you really need to pay it off within 90 days. Otherwise you're paying sub-prime interest. Honestly all of this is clearly spelled out to you before you sign the contract in giant letters so complaining afterwards is a little ridiculous. I don't mind waiting on my furniture to come in, because it's always something I wanted and could not find anywhere else. I have gotten my sofa, dining room, mattress, and bedroom furniture here. I have no doubt I'll probably eventually have all of my furniture replaced by this store, one piece at a time. Sherrie is an extremely kind and accommodating person. I most recently decided I wanted a new bed and mattress, and I decided to go all in and get the absolutely best I could get. Sherrie spent weeks replying to my emails of "how much is this" and "how long would this take to come in?" I came into the store to try out the mattresses. I have bad night sweats and I didn't want a memory foam mattress. My last mattress had cooling gel and for some reason that exaggerated the problem. Sherrie knew exactly what I was talking about and helped me pick out the mattress of my dreams! The bed had a manufacturer delay another 6 weeks past what the store was promised ... So Sherrie went ahead and delivered (at no extra cost to me) the mattress set ahead of time. I laid on that mattress and could have died happily then and there. I would point anyone I know wanting beautiful furniture for their home to this store. Everyone who comes into my place ALWAYS asks where I bought something and I always tell them, "Dream Home Interiors in Roswell, GA!" Plus, I own my own small, local business and I'm always excited to support another one. I know it sounds super cheesy but they really do help you find your dream furniture. Buyer beware on this place. The owner is dishonest and will say anything to get a deal done. Overpriced as well. My wife and I ordered some furniture there that after a few months he tried delivering the the floor samples that we had sat on originally that had all types of problems including the sofa having the wrong cushions and one of the swivel chairs being broken. We ended up cancelling our order based on that much to his chagrin and bought a comparable set on Costco for half the price. Understand during COVID the challenges we all experience! But please beware even under Pandemic mode! I chose this company because reputable companies all had long lead times(I.e. Rooms To Go, American Signature Furniture, Haverty's, Elms, Shabby Chic), etc). I ordered DHI under assumption I had shorter delivery date! Caution, they are an online company, and show room is in Cummins, Ga, passed several show room with quality furniture to get to Cummings, Ga! Then received email that delivery delayed because of COVID! Meanwhile, they house OKinus Financing! Beware it's a lease with a Early payment Option with very strict contract terms! you better off financing with Synphony Finance it you can! After Furniture was delivered almost 2 mos later, I realized the bedroom and table costing approx $3,500 was not what I expected! The upholstery rustic bedroom is shabbily rustic and flimsy! The so called wood dresser, seems like particle board! One expect d firm furniture that would last for years! I called, and customers service is primarily contacted via email or voice mail! However, they are professional and friendly! But, the fine print is to be ready thoroughly! They offered I come in, although The leading company owned the furniture! The leading customer concierge stated I am responsible for paying 1/3 of the prices if the furniture or 2X monthly payments or over $1000, but they can arrange for pickup immediately! If I cancel the agreement, I was threatened that I could never due business with Okinus again! Why would DHI enter into an arrangement! The reference arbitration, contract requests you waiver jury trial in the event of dispute! I post this for buyers to be aware! Nonce you purchase from DHI, the ownership belongs to the leading company, Okinus! Recall the previous mention strict contracting terms! If you don't pay within 110 day, the total balance of $3,500, then your are responsible for paying 3X the amount of original purchase! For instance if payment of $500/mos x19 comes out to $9k for an ugly bedroom and mediocre counter glass table and faux leather chairs at best! The question is, you can only return something only after coughing up 2X Monthly payments. Please ensure you understand during COVID or Pandemic! After threatening if I decided not to pay because I am dissatisfied, I was asked if I wanted to come in view other items! What do you think my reply was? Hell Naw! Recommend buyers use reputable furniture companies like Georgia Furniture Mart, Rooms to GO, Ashley's, etc! And other forms of financing! If you have cash, your experience might be difficult! But beware of the DHi/Okinus leasing partnership! It is not customer friendly! Don't be hoodwinked buy the courteous demeanor, pay attention to the financial bottom line! read more

QUICK DELIVERY! My husband and I stopped in several times to look for a rocking recliner that would coordinate with our existing furniture. We liked the selections and quality of the furniture we saw and and their prices are better than comparable furniture. We usually saw George (an owner) who was quick to tell us about pieces we were showing interest in, but he never pushed or "hung around". There seems to be quick turnover...we were interested in a chair that was gone when we returned a few days later. The prices are good because items are mostly one of a kind. NOT FOR EVERYONE, BUT YOU MIGHT LIKE IT! Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover, because if it looks, walks and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck! When I first discovered this store, we pulled up and pulled away because they all of these "very large and distasteful" no credit needed signs out front. This is always a red flag for me and I generally just avoid these types of businesses all together. Recently while researching furniture, I again ran across this store. The reviews are great and the website indicated that they carry quality "recognized" brands like Bernhardt. We decided to give them a try and stopped by. Upon entering you will be swamped by all the furniture. It was packed, (and not in a good way). Although I like a great inventory, I also like room to move around, plop down and just think about things. Anyway, we were quickly approached by an employee. My husband has his approach, "We're looking for a sofa" and I have my approach, "We are actually looking for quality furniture, eight-way hand-tied, Can you show me your top brands"? I don't want to waste my time or theirs so I just shoot it straight. Well, that saved us a whole lot of time because apparently they don't carry quality brands. The website information is not correct, they do not carry Bernhardt because according to the employee, their customers want value. I don't think that you should ever forsake quality for value especially when it comes to furniture. This is not a sandwich! I say buy the best quality you can afford and be willing to wait until you can actually afford a piece without having to get it financed. Also, some stores actually have the equivalent of a lay-a-way plan. ' Remember, furniture (chairs, sofas, dining furniture), takes a beating and you want it to be "up for the challenge". FYI: We were told by the employee that this store is basically an "on-line" store so I took this to mean that if you see something you want, they will need to order it for you. Just know before you go! 5/1/19 This is in response to the comments by Ms. Donna. Obviously she was not working on the day that I visited because we would have had a different conversation and I would have said "show me what you have". I only referenced a particular brand of furniture because it was listed on their website and we recognize their quality. My comments had nothing to do with income because you can go to Goodwill and get solid wood quality for pennies. Hence my awesome dresser collection! The point I was making is if you have to pay twice as much due to exorbitant financing you really lose the benefit of the bargain. Just be aware. I am so glad that they are removing the signs, a little discretion goes a long way. I would advise that when speaking to a customer who wants a specific quality, simply show them your best and explain why it's the best. Never close the door on a potential sell! Finally, I don't feel as if I wasted my time visiting the store because I prefer to visit and be very "hands on". I've gone to Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Lilburn etc. This was nothing as it is practically in my backyard. 5/4/19 I visited the Kennesaw store today but did not go in because the tasteless signs were up and I could clearly see the furniture through the window. My wife and I were downsizing. We sold our 3,600 sq. ft. home and my agile wife sold all of the furniture on all 3 floors of our home. We were moving into a 1,400 sq. ft. condo. We decided to buy all new furniture and went to DHI. My wife found a sectional that she fell in love with. It was scheduled for delivery to our new address on the afternoon of our move. We only had beds and dressers to move in. The sectional was key to having a place to relax. We were informed by George at DHI that the delivery would have be postponed for a week as it wasn't in stock at the manufacturer. We had company coming that weekend and would have nothing to sit on. George solved this problem immediately by offering to deliver a "loaner" until the new sectional arrived. His guys showed up that afternoon and brought in a new sectional that worked great for our needs. Melissa was very helpful in arranging the delivery and followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the temporary arrangement. Their moving guys couldn't have been better. Careful while delivering. On top of that, George offered us a $150 credit on a purchase of any more furniture that we bought at the store. As it turned out we needed bar stools but couldn't find exactly what we were looking for. My wife went online and found the perfect choice at DHI. The credit was given on the purchase of the bar stools. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of the product and exceptional service we received. We wouldn't have experienced that kind of treatment at a Big Box store. George and his staff went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this furniture store for anyone looking to be pleasantly surprised with the product and the service that they offer. Truly "top notch" in very way. Liars, Cons. "Made in America!" made in Vietnam. "30% restocking fee on returns" we would like to return our mattress, (owned it for ~30 days, uncomfortable). "All sales are final." We spent about $5000 replacing our bedroom set and dining set and this is how they retain customers? Don't think so. You lost a customer and If you buy from here, you're gambling, because they won't take anything back. Typical sales mentality without the customer service. We have purchased furniture for multiple rooms from DHI over the past 10 years. Everything has high designer look but at a fraction of the cost. Perfect for families like ours with small children who inevitably scratch and dirty everything. George is great to work with and has gone out of his way to find just the right item when I had a specific request. Delivery has always been prompt, courteous, and done a great job with assembly. Be aware that much of the stock is ordered direct from suppliers and if you need something right away check to make sure it is not backordered.
