This was the greatest shopping experience for me. That's a lot considering I'm 53 years old and have purchased a lot of furniture in my day. This Ashley home store was filled with furniture for every test. I was able to furnish my entire home for the same price as 2 chairs and a couch From Pottery Barn. I am very particular about my home. I don't think you have to spend a lot of money for it to look like you did. My home is stunning and I have to think David my sales person for his patience as I had the time of my life picking everything from chandeliers two dining room tables to couches, End tables and cocktail table and so forth... Let's not forget all the amazing accessories there. I teenager was able to get the floor length mirror that she had always wanted. David did not mind that I wanted to create my own dining room set to make it more whimsy and fun. The entire management and staff were amazing. Even Jesse who works in the back of the store helped me purchase a desk that I needed so desperately and he found all the pieces as apparently it was the last one in Georgia! It's fantastic and I love it. More good news is you don't have to wait more than a week for your furniture in at the most 10 days. Even better is I don't think I paid full price on anything as they were having a wonderful sale. The communication between the corporation and the delivery were also stellar. They kept me abreast of the entire operation from when my furniture was going to be delivered to win they were 30 minutes away and the gentleman that deliver the furniture were amazing as well. I'm telling you that you have got to go shopping at Ashley. Whether you're a millennial, shopping for a kid, shopping for a teenager or someone like myself in their 50s who wants a very calm and relaxed environment. They have furniture for everybody. Our in store experience was good, however we cancelled an order and it has taken weeks and multiple phone calls and we STILL do not have our refund yet. The experience started out well with a nice sales rep in the Cumming, GA store who was very helpful. My husband and I made a point of trying to purchase locally so that we could go in person if we had a problem and to support local business. We placed our order on 12/1/2024 in store (they price matched 1 stop Bedroom (much better pricing) which was strange since Ashley makes the furniture, and we were told that we wouldn't receive the furniture until 1/3/2025 since a piece was on back order. Fast forward, the company kept scheduling a delivery time and canceling our delivery multiple times. The store is beautifully set, yes, and the customer service surpassed my expectations. After reading a couple of less-than-stellar reviews, I initially hesitated to visit this store. I'm so glad I decided to give them a try. Andrew (Store Manager) and his colleagues, Lejla and Meredith, have been a pleasure to work with and have been very helpful in assisting me, not only with the purchase process, but design input as well. Ordered bedroom furniture from Ashley.com to Cumming, GA and delivery scheduled for July 8th. First delivery had a portion of the bed delivered in the wrong color. They took the wrong color pieces back and delivered the correct color pieces but without the hardware. Going on 3 weeks with no delivery of hardware or any replacement pieces. 5 times in a row, the customer service line says that the case is being reviewed and someone will contact us within 72 hours and no one has ever contacted us. Each time I follow up with a call, the case gets extended another 72 hours. I continue to call and get the same response with no resolution. I asked for a refund of the delivery and assembly costs and was refused because they "attempted" delivery. So now I have paid for delivery and assembly and have a room full of bed pieces and no way to put it together and no solution offered. I will not be shopping at Ashley again. read more

The sales reps at this location seem to be amazing, but the manager is a completely different story. I don't know how she became a manager... I'm guessing she blackmailed someone or lied her way to be a manager, but she has absolutely no management skills. When I was in the store, she never acknowledge me or my wife or said hello. I don't mind that, but she had the audacity to yell at and belittle her employee in front of customers! I'm guessing she's got some insecurities or feels small herself, but that doesn't mean she can make others feel less than. THEN when I called into the store to complain about an incorrect delivery date that ultimately made me lose an entire day of work, she called me "irresponsible" for not knowing the correct delivery date. When I was in the store, they told me that the furniture is available in the warehouse and can be delivered the following week. Even now, when I just spoke to them on the phone, they said it's still available to be delivered. BUT they claim that I chose to have it delivered a month later. WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY FURNITURE AND SAY DELIVER A MONTH LATER WHEN IT'S AVAILABLE NOW??? Common sense... Logic! Please use the few braincells that you have! And do not shift your blame onto the customer. I get it, things can come up and delays happen, I'm okay with that, but I received absolutely no notification, email, or phone call that my furniture will be delivered SIGNIFICANTLY later than we agreed. She then, found a loop hole and her voice changed so much! She went from defending herself into smugly explaining that it's all my fault and they don't have to do anything. She dismissed my comments. Take ownership of your mistakes. SO glad corporate has better customer service that in-store managers. At least they can apologize and make things right. Purchased an entire 5 piece Living room set, (Sofa, Love seat, Chair, Ottoman, Coffee Table) Purchased a 5 Piece Bedroom (dresser, Chest, 2 nightstands, King sleigh bed) Purchased a Dinning table, counter bar, Dish storage, Shelving Unit and Mobile Bar Ashley rep told me the price is cheaper with the GBS Protection plan included and it covers all (top plan) Frame and Mechanical, accidental, etc. Put in multiple claims all for items covered in their booklet and they claimed that all the photos provided on ALL the furniture that we claimed was an accumulation and not covered. Then they NEVER sent anything back to me notifying me of this decision. Do not waste your time with this plan. Paid over $500 for the plan to cover all of this and they denied every claim. My wife and I have purchased, two sets of living room furniture, a dinning set, bed room set for our son, a fire place for our family room, more then 5k worth of furniture. we've since had a small situation with an unstable chair, I called to have it either looked at or replaced. No acknowledgement, no returned calls, completely ignored. In May we purchased a couch and two tables. We are told due to the pandemic there would be delays maybe 1 month or more. We were okay with that and understood, it wasn't their fault. They tell us to call every couple weeks to check on progress. First time they told us end of June, they said the first part was in stock. Talked to two separate people in the call centers who said it would be delivered on the 2nd of July. 2nd came and went and not only did no one deliver anything but then found the call center told us completely the wrong info. They actually have to separate your order out to deliver it at different times. The call center can't do this only the store. So we have to call the store to do that.. Then are told of July for a new timeline. On July 9th get an email, then again on the 16th. Tuesday the 27th I get an email that says confirm your order, I click on link that doesn't work. Then I get a text and a confirmation (photo attached). I called the store and they said yes everything is fine. The day before delivery no one has called. So I call the 1800 number, "We cancelled that because no confirmation was received." We can deliver maybe next week. We have blocked out time now multiple times to have this delivered. So I cancelled the order, since they only had half of it anyway and the new delivery estimate for the entire thing is September. At this point I am not sure they ever will deliver and its just not worth the hassle of having to call every time. Bottom line the customer service is terrible and they could really care less. Their delivery system is a complete mess and they don't know anything/ aren't able to tell you any information when you call. They direct you back to the store that then directs you back to the call center. I am actually waiting to talk to the store so they can provide me my cancellation numbers still since the call center can't even do that. We will never shop there again and be sure to tell everyone to avoid. read more

I ordered a300.00 lamp and a 7599.00 sectional. I was told the lamp will be shipped UPS and the sectional delivered on Friday. The couch was delivered and still no lamp. After a week I called the store. Oh that's bank ordered till the end of November ( 15 weeks) .I asked the manager for the floor model and she ( Beverly said no. I could get a refund or wait. She said the bucks stops with her and it would do no good the call the DM. I finally got the name of the district manager (Frank Espanzo) but can't get in touch with him yet. Please please please read this before you purchase from Ashley. This was absolutely the worst buying experience I've had in a very long time. Where do I start? We shopped and purchased about $8k furniture for my MIL's apartment in July 2024. We finally got the last piece today, December 2024. We paid for their premium delivery ($599, marked down to $299). Still too expensive but they explained it was a white glove delivery service, 100% satisfaction guaranteed. It was HORRIBLE. I'll spare you all the details. Here's the summary. It took 3 separate deliveries in total, some furniture was dented, dinged, dropped, cracked, assembled POORLY and missing critical hardware, causing 3 warranty claims and 4 visits from their repair person. My 85 yo MIL had to sleep on the couch for a month till the bed was finally fixed. Ultimately they refunded all the delivery fee, plus another customer dissatisfaction credit. And in the end, my MIL is happy but it was such a difficult journey to get here. Stuff happens, I get it, but the worst part was the bold faced lie that they provide a white glove delivery service. read more

If you want to pay a markup of about 900% on furniture from China and Vietnam that they assemble in their warehouse and then deliver to you in their branded boxes, then by all means...! Better yet, if you want a company that comes to your home and destroys your stairwell walls. Then refuses to address the issue after you let their "customer service rep" know about the issue WITH photos of what their team did. Then, you guessed it, by all means...! If you see the photos and think, "they couldn't possibly have done that delivering furniture..." then guess again because when you try to ram a king size mattress (like your trying to tackle someone) up an L-shaped stairwell then that is what you get. I kid you not...it was witnessed and they felt that it was okay to do that! There are furniture stores on just about every single corner these days and major retailers carry it all online and off typically with free shipping as opposed to being charged to damage your home. Please take my advice and do not buy Ashley furniture. Looks very nice and elegant to start but quickly falls apart. Leather will start cracking and peeling off. Wood is extremely cheap and starts chipping away within a year. Warranty doesn't mean anything. I bought full living room set and bedroom sets. I am not a one off experience but many complaints out there. For what they charge, this was suppose to be high quality. I have owned furniture from discount stores that are far better quality. Don't let the surface fool you. I hope this reaches you before you make the same mistake it did. read more

We have been waiting on our delivery for months. Every time we call they give a date further out. We finally thought we were getting it all delivered and they delivered two pieces, one damaged, and nothing else. We ordered three rooms of furniture. The delivery guy said he put in a request for a tech to fix the piece. We never heard from anyone and he never placed the request. We asked to speak with a manager and were transferred to a line where we were over 300th in place! We tried to leave a call back number and it said there was a problem and we had to wait. I have 2 new recliners what were delivered and were correct, but can't get the matching couch. We purchased a resin wicker chaise sofa for our pool cabana at the suggestion of our sales person, because she said it was high quality and if it cracked apart like our previous one the GBS Warranty we would purchase with it would cover it! Buyer beware! We purchased furniture at Ashley Furniture (the staff was amazing) but the product WAS NOT! We purchased a couch and loveseat and within 3 or 4 months the surface was coming apart. It took another 3 months to get a technician to come out and fix the cushion in question, in doing so he accidentally broke the lever that raised the foot rest. He said no problem your warranty should cover it. We went round and round and finally they sent a technician to fix the lever, but the couch we have no longer exists and a generic mechanism did not work. They said contact warranty. The cushion gets replaced, okay fine. Then in 3 months time the new cushion is flaking and poor quality of materials. Now the couch is over 1 year old., Ashley Furniture says- no worries that is under the warranty. The warranty company says nope that is a manufacturer defect and sends us back to Ashley. The merry-go round continues. Meanwhile 3 cushions look like crap and the couch is not even 18 months old. We have no young children in the home so just sitting on it as normal people do. So we are very displeased with the quality of the couch and loveseat, very displeased with the customer service and don't buy the warranty! The warranty company will do NOTHING help you. YES, HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY! When we pulled into the parking lot, we immediately noticed the grand reopening sign. Upon entering the store, I noticed that it was well stocked and had lots of options including modern and traditional furnishings. We were greeted upon entering but told the associate that we were just browsing in general. He later followed up and introduced us to one of his salesmen. This guy had only been selling furniture for two months and was clueless. It was evident that he was very uncomfortable and wanted to run away as soon as possible, which he did. Unforturnately, he did not have great people skill, did not have a working knowledge of different pieces and collections and therefore could not answer very basic questions related to construction and quality. As we continued to walk around on our own, we encountered Tyler who proved to be very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions regarding construction and quality of the available items. However, Tyler is not to be trusted because he was dishonest when he told us the chair we liked is a $600 chair that is currently on sale. He further stated that this supposed sale will end "tomorrow". Be smart, check the tag because if it is a sale item this will be indicated on the tag. This particular chair, (the Tartonelle) is identified, (on-line) as a HomeStore special and "is not subject to discounts". This means that it does not go on sale as the price is fixed. You are able to purchase this chair at the fixed price at any time. We were told that this chair was made of solid wood construction but I immediately doubted this because this piece is very modern and this store is not known for solid wood pieces. My home is full of solid wood traditional pieces so I know better. Ashley makes their own furniture so there are no "high-end" brands available. You will not find eight-way hand tied construction here. When I read the on-line description, there was no mention of the construction. Solid wood construction is a major selling point and would definitely be a part of the description. Also, if the feet are described as having a "faux wood" finish, solid wood construction is doubtful. Just do your homework and know what you are purchasing. Avoid purchasing on your first visit so that you have time to really consider your purchase, check their reviews and get some additional information. I am in search of some lighter accent chairs to break up my heavy leathers so the chair I saw was just a perfect little accent piece. However, if I am looking for major seating to anchor my space, I would not purchase from Ashley's because their leathers are not the quality I prefer and their overall furniture construction is dubious. Also, I noticed that they have very few options for colors and materials, what you see is what you get and much of that is very neutral. Due to Tyler's attempt to deceive us and convince us to make an immediate purchase, I cannot give more than two stars because dishonesty should never be rewarded! read more

Ashley in Alpharetta was TERRIBLE, sounds like everyone has had a similar experience at the Cumming location. I spent almost 2k in their store for a full bedroom set and TV console. No issues with delivery/assembly of the bedroom furniture BUT for the fact the hardware was missing to assemble the bed. The disassembled bed sat in my bedroom for a MONTH AND A HALF while I was forced to sleep in my floor and attempted to call customer service DAILY for a solution and update. Customer service is terrible and requires ingenuity to navigate how to get through to actual 'customer service' Not to mention I had to make two round trips to the store (suggested by customer service 800 number to physically go to the local store I purchased from because they couldn't help me) I ultimately cancelled my TV console order and made them pick up the bed sitting in my floor that had been without hardware even though I was fed BS tracking numbers multiple times saying 'the hardware is coming'. I paid $200 for delivery and assembly of ALL items which ACTUALLY ended up including 2 night stands and a dresser but should have included the $600 bed I paid for and the TV console I cancelled but didn't get a refund for the difference. If you want to create an excel spreadsheet for who you've talked to, and what they said, etc. and spend no less than 40 hours on the phone with this company (not an exaggeration) to make sure what you've already PAID for gets the actual hardware supplemented so it can be assembled, this is the company for you. The sales process with Mike Gulisano was fine. Service after the sale is HORRID! We were given one delivery date, then it was moved to today. We got a text early this morning that we were #2 in the delivery sequence. The window was 9:15 to 1:15, so we thought we were in good shape. WRONG. Three phone calls to the store later, with hold times of 20 minutes each, still no delivery. A fourth call revealed the item was never on the truck, because it's on back order. Aaaaahhh!!! Our experience was terrible. First 3 delivery dates nothing showed up after waiting all day. We had confirmed delivery dates via email and text. On the 4th attempt only 1 if 2 couches arrived. No explanation. No calls or emails to explain. Had to wait 3 days to get answers. Got a date for the second couch. Got confirmed email and text. Got a call telling me the truck was 10 minutes away. Nothing was delivered. Next delivery date moved back and forth. Finally got tge second ouch a month late. When I called in I received no help. Went to the store. Lady at the counter seemd to act like I was somehow at fault. Two other people arguing with manager about same issue. I will never shop here again. read more

On my last trip, desperate to make a decision, Sharon scooped me up and helped me finally decide on living room furniture and a new mattress. She was patient, never pushy, and went above and beyond to help me see the full vision of the pieces I wanted. And, my daughter and her friends tagged along to share their input, and Sharon gave these three young ladies the same respect. I have given Ashley furniture SO many tries, but I've completely lost my patience. I ordered stuff a few years ago and thought it was a fluke, but no, their customer service is atrocious. They've forgotten who the customer is. I had a delivery scheduled for last Friday. 4 hour window. Took the day off and stayed home all day. Garage door open. Two cars in the driveway. Someone was clearly home. I get a call an hour before delivery and they say they'll be there early. Okay. Nobody shows up. They call again and say I wasn't home. But I was. They insist I wasn't. Well, we have NINE cameras outside, verifying that they didn't come. The delivery people wanted the day off, but wanted to be paid for that day off. Ashley has done NOTHING to remedy this, and I've now taken three days off. I've had to call over and over, they never reached out to me. They've finally offered me "maybe a Friday delivery," but won't give me a firm answer and won't give me a delivery window. What planet do we live on that someone can take four days off for a shitty piece of furniture? I only want it because it matches stuff we already had, otherwise I'd run for the hills because this is now my third time dealing with these clowns. Stay away, do not be fooled by the ease, prices, and looks. You'll lose money just trying to get what you paid for, and the quality is no better than ikea. read more

They sell damaged furniture. We bought a reclining sofa. It was delivered and we discovered the reclining mechanism was defective. I immediately called customer service. They said since it was within 72 hours they would send out a technician to take a look - maybe it was assembled incorrectly. The technician came and determined it was damaged and needed parts and needs to be repaired. I told him I didn't want a repaired brand new sofa but I wanted it replaced. He told me it wasn't an option. He left and I called customer service. They told me they would send me request to the "remediations" department and it shouldn't be a problem. A week later after no response I called back. Nothing had been determined yet and I asked to have it escalated and which point they transferred me to the "escalations" department where I spoke to Travonna. She told me that since I agreed to have a technician come out and look at the sofa that a replacement was not possible per policy. Wait what???? Let that sink in. So they tricked me! When I told Travonna that I was not informed of that before and that I would be writing negative reviews, filing a complaint with the BBB, and disputing the charge she said she "didn't play that game" and these were "just empty threats". Oh my god!!! So much for wanting to retain customers! Up to this point I'd been patient and fairly happy (assuming they would do the right thing). I recently had a house fire and lost absolutely everything in my house. I walked into this Ashley store just to get a look at the furniture I have been pricing on mine. We were greeted immediately by Vicky. She was kind, warm , and patient. I needed to furnish an entire house. She worked with me, and helped me out tremendously. This is the best example of customer service I have ever seen. There was no sales pressure to buy dot-dot-dot upgrade... It was all within my means and what I needed and wanted. I hope I never have to fill a home again. When I am ready to replace this furniture I will go back to the store once again. Vicky is the absolute best!
