Whenever we are in Cumming we stop by the Green Bean and never leave empty handed. Such a fun place.

I feel like the other reviews on here are outdated. This place was pretty fun. I will say, there are lots of new / newer items here. But! Generally good prices and some booths were having great sales. I got several things I'm excited about. Nice staff as well. read more

Fun antique store with many vendors. Be prepared to stay awhile in order to see it all!

This place was cute! It was a perfect rainy/chilly afternoon activity. So many cool things to browse through and nice people!

I go there often for old vinyls including the Beatles, ABBA, and a Toto. Not to mention some Rolling Stone magazines from the 80s. One of my favorite places to looks for old records and magazines. read more

We visited many antique stores while in North Georgia and this was by far our favorite. It had a nice selection of antiques and primitives and the staff (including the owner) was as friendly and helpful as can be. We will definitely visit again. And ps, for those who like vinyl records there was a huge room dedicated just to those! read more

Super nice people . We were traveling thru North Georgia just checking out antique shops. My wife travels with two small service dogs and these folks not only welcomed us but offered the pups a snack. Lots of items to look thru and my wife found a few items to bring home. We had a lot of fun. Very nice people running the place. We'll be back when we come that way again read more

LIVE this place- great dealers, awesome variety from classic, to mid-century, 70's funky- all over the map! I have bought random things that I adore (church fans from funeral homes) to everyday bar stools that I recovered & painted to make my very own! I visited this store earlier this afternoon to purchase one of the shelf units as pictured in the attachment. These photos were taken on February 26th. I took these photos on that day so that I would remember the pieces and to show my husband for measurements. When my husband and I arrived today and were ready to checkout, we were told that there was no discount. When we asked about the discount, the vendor was called and, apparently, he/she said that the shelving unit was NOT discounted and never had been. The sign that you see in the photos was still hanging in that booth area. I showed that to the person who called the vendor and we were questioned about where we found the sign. I don't think it should matter where we found the sign hanging in the booth since it said all items from the vendor "ME" were discounted by 20%. I came to the store yesterday (3/8) and asked about the discounted price before asking my husband to drive to the store and transport the piece today. At that time, I was told by a different employee that the item was discounted because the price tag did NOT say "firm." We were offended by the rude way we were treated and felt that we were being dismissed. I have shopped at the Cumming and Freehome Green Bean locations frequently over the past few years. Sadly, I will not return. read more

I'm finding more and more than many places that call themselves an "antique" store are more like a cross between a Home Goods and an antique store. I'd say it was about half/half ratio between legit antique items and run-of-the-mill new decor. Not that that's necessarily bad, but it's not the antiques I was hoping for. Besides, I'm really not into Home Goods stuff. In fact, I'd prefer weird stuff.... and the weirder, the better. Not a lot of weird here, unfortunately for me. ITS THE UNEXPECTED THINGS THAT MAKE LIFE INTERESTING So as I am waiting for my donuts, (next door) to be prepared, I decide to check out this little Antiques store. Upon entering, we are greeted by two little puppies who bark lightly and go on their way. We start to walk around the place and there is just so much to see. Items are literally everywhere and all tastefully displayed. As I continually walking down a main corridor, I get the feeling of something sticky on the bottom of my shoe. I'm thinking "who spilled the juice". As I examine my shoe, I realize that it is a pile of dog poo. I am totally disgusted and hobble to the desk to report my dilemma. One woman suggests that I hop outside and wipe it on the curb, no I'm not doing that, so I follow a lady to the bathroom to get a paper towel. Enter the gentleman who offers to take my shoe and clean it himself. Thank God I was wearing a water resistant sport sandal. He was very apologetic and as he continued to clean my shoe, I started to feel bad because he felt so bad. He was so gracious and so sincere that I was able to simply put my shoe back on and continue shopping. This is a great little place to pick up home decor items and those unique pieces to help create a theme or add visual interest. There were things that I wanted to closely examine but since I had a schedule to keep, I had to get going. I will definitely come back. Just remember, wear a sport sandal and watch your step!. read more

A personal favorite of mine. They always have unique and interesting items! There's always so much to see. Some of their prices can be a bit iffy like priced too high than what it should be, but if you're lucky, you can get a really good deal on something! Their store includes antiques, repurposed items and furnishings, and more modern pieces/decor. I'd recommend the green bean to anyone who likes antiques. read more

I'm a fan! Green Bean Exchange has something for everyone. The store is larger than you expect walking in the door and is clean, organized and a comfortable environment for all to shop in. The company has 2 other locations, but this one in Alpharetta is my personal favorite. They have a nice vintage record collection, repurposed antiques, chalk paint, mid century modern, books, kids furniture and so much more. I know whenever I stop in, I am bound to leave with a few must haves and regardless, have somewhere to kill an hour looking around. I definitely recommend this location! read more

This is such an amazing place! All the booths are so much fun to explore and I felt like I lost track of time completely! My friend and I came in and were greeted so kindly and we weren't followed simply because we were young like most antique stores. The staff is so kind and helpful! We spent 2 hours there and I still feel like I could go back and find more amazing and unique antiques. read more

We live about 45 minutes from this location, and drive out toward it every few months for a round of antique store hopping. Our last few visits were much different than they used to be. Today is the last time we will shop here. It does not matter the day of the week, the time of year, or whether we have our young, very well-behaved children with us.. the employees at the front of the store never, ever greet us. They're always stuffy and rude, even when you force them to speak to you by purchasing something. I'm embarrassed to say I recommended The Green Bean to someone just an hour before our visit today. There's a different, much more friendly antique store not too far from here, look it up and spend your hard-earned money there instead. read more

These kind folks had a special 20% off sale starting at 6pm tonight, accompanied with champagne, beer, iced tea, canapes, and finger desserts. Ann and I wandered from booth to booth looking for 60's Counterculture, petroliana, America Art Pottery, and resellable curiosities. Managed to find a mid-50's Aunt Jemima covered syrup pitcher, an Uncle Ben's pepper shaker, and a Thomas Kinkade numbered footed ceramic dresser dish for reasonable prices. There was a LOT of 'cutesy' stuff to plow through, but my trip tonight was worthwhile to the tune of about $60 clear. I'll have to try their other location next. read more

I really like this market. The staff is always super friendly and helpful which I love. There are some really terrific booths here too. I usually find some sort of treasure at a good price when I'm here. It's a fun stop whenever I'm on the hunt for a great deal. read more

Stopped in on Sunday afternoon. Tons of good finds. Very reasonably priced. One item did not have a price tag, they called the booth owner on the spot and got me the price I was looking for. They have specials and sales all the time. The ladies upfront were having a blast and so helpful. This is my new fav spot to stop in and take a look. We had a good experience here until we went to pay. They seemed very disorganized and we had to pass on several purchases due to tags being missing or confusion of what seller information was. One of the ladies checking people out was very rude concerning a book I wanted to buy and the lacking seller information, when she rough handled the book so the last few pages tore loose from the binding I told her I would pass. She abruptly said.. "Thanks" and stormed off. If I was a seller I would definitely be concerned about how things are handled!! read more
