We had a long conversation and he offered to help me in any way. It's rare to see a small business owner show so much compassion and express how important every single customer is to them. Before beginning the work, he clearly stated that the cost would be $395, but also explained that there was no warranty on the repair and that if the fix did not work, the price would be reduced to $250. Based on that representation, I agreed to move forward. After the repair, the freezer briefly got cold and produced only three ice cubes before the technician left--at which point I was charged the full $395. Unfortunately, within an hour of his departure, the freezer stopped working entirely. When I contacted the company to address this, I expected them to honor what their technician had promised. Instead, they refused to adjust the price down to $250 as previously stated. Rather than resolving the issue, they repeatedly attempted to upsell me on a much more expensive repair totaling approximately $1,300. Given this experience--being charged for a repair that did not work, having agreed-upon pricing disregarded, and facing persistent upselling instead of resolution--I strongly discourage others from doing business with this company.
