I have been a loyal Lowe's customer for years. Not anymore. I ordered some lumber for home delivery from Lowe's and they delivered some of it with the wrong size lumber. I understand mistakes happen but it was what came after that surprised me. I called once to have the lumber picked up and an appointment was set. They did not show up so I called back and they had to reschedule which I did and was forced to take a second day off work to be home for them to pick it up (I don't have a truck so I didn't have a choice). The second time they did not show up again. I called again and was told again I had to reschedule after asking them to make it right and have someone come pick up the lumber same day they were supposed to so I would not have to take off an additional day to be home for the pickup. It seems Lowes feels that their time and money are more important than their customers. Such a shame Lowes has gotten so big that they don't think they have to provide good customer experience anymore. I read more

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I had with ANY store. I called to ask a simple question: If they offer installation services for a home refrigerator. However, upon being connected to customer service, I was simply asked to "hold on." Then as I sit there waiting for MORE THAN HALF A HOUR, something came up that required my attention for less than 3 minutes. Which, unfortunately is when the people finally answered. He showed me two different options that were available and then helped me find an inexpensive brush and tarp that would work. He talked through options with me and was super helpful. We purchased new appliances for our new home. Three warranty plan- kitchen and 5-year warranty for laundry products. Nope cannot reach a person. First number called said push 1 and we can return your call. So I did and got a message that it would be between 2-4 minutes. Well it is an hour later - yup no call! So now I try another number, and recording says to go to LowesProtect.com. Well now I am supposed to sign in - I never had an account at Lowes so decided to go to the area saying type to communicate with agent. Type my question. See Sabrina signed on. Wait - nothing. Type question again. It shows Sabrina is typing but I don't see anything. I write back stating it shows you are typing, but I do not see anything. Are you ready for this: She types again and states she is happy to help me and then disappears. I am then shown a site that states please rate your service. So give 3 stars and start to type....and all disappears and Thank You! I try one other number and another recording: claims.lowes protect.com. It asks do I need service or to file a claim. Gee, I have a problem with two different items under two different warranties. Wait, where is my return call? So 90 minutes of my day gone. Guess I will have to go to the store. The people are pretty nice here but the store is usually under stocked if you are looking for something particular go to a different Lowe's store. They also are very slow if you need something. They take forever to answer any questions even if you call ahead. It's hard to go here for anything quick, if you need any assistance you better be prepared to wait half hour atleast. This happens all the time and not on only one occasion, I don't know if they are understaffed or just careless, but they have always been slow here. ‍ read more

I paid for 25 bags and had to load them all myself.. the guy showed up on the last four bags I had and had the audacity to question my receipt. I provided it with no problem but like dude... Instead, you MUST register to be on their junk mail list and are forced to join the gambit of folks who rather have their privacy from big business by NOT being on these mass lists. ONCE AND NEVER I was warned by my brother who is being contractor about bad customer service from Lowe. I wouldn't believed it if not went through their really bad service. I ordered carpet to have promotion of installation. At the time my order was placed, the associate there confirmed that they could finish installation by Christmas. So, I placed the ordered. After they measured, I went back to finalize the order. And this time, the associate worked that day told me that they could finish installation in January. It broke my all of plan. I complained and asked to talk to manager, they called someone from customer service (could be Customer service manager). The conversation became a nightmare. She just repeated many times that they don't know the installation date 'cause it's other department responsibility and told me to call that department. She tried to pass the ball to me. It doesn't make any sense. The one who confirmed the installation completion date is not that department. It was an associate of their store. How could she think I'm the one need to call that department. She finally committed that she had to be the one who contact the department. She said she would compose an email to tell that department about this case and ask them to follow up with me. However, 2 days passed and no one call me back. It sucks. I purchased a work detail measurement order on 3/22 from the Lowe's Plumbing department on 3/22/19. The rep in the plumbing department (Tom) was extremely helpful and this is in no way a reflection of the service HE provided. The detail was for the measurement of a vanity replacement. According to my work detail and I quote, " Under normal circumstances, the installer will be given your contact information and will contact you within 2 business days to schedule a convenient time to conduct the detail." As of today, that hasn't happened. We notified our local store of purchase on 3/25/19 that we had not been contacted. A CS rep told us that "(We) will have to phone the installer." This is NOT IN ACCORDANCE with our work detail. If this were so, why would we purchase a work detail from a retail store? We were contacted by an installer on 4/2/19 that told us that he is no longer contracted with Lowes. My spouse phoned the local store of purchase to speak to a manager. She was unable to speak to a manager nor did she receive a call-back. On Thursday 4/4/19, I phoned Lowe's Corporate Office and spoke with Rita. She assured me that we'd receive a call within 48-hours from another installer. That hasn't happened as of today. If you're keeping score, it's been 17 days since our purchase of a work detail measurement and our project is now behind schedule although my work detail reads and I quote, "We'll keep in contact from start to finish, ensuring your job is done at your convenience, and on time." Readers of Yelp, is this job, in your opinion, on time? On Saturday 4/6/19, I received a voice-mail from the store manager of purchase, stating that, and I quote, "I (think) there is an issue with your installation. I'm calling to see if it has been resolved." First of all, no it hasn't. Secondly, according to my work detail, "We'll keep in contact from start to finish...." Looks like the store manager ("Warren") isn't really tracking our progress; only responding to my issue handed down from him from your Corporate office. On Monday 4/8/19, I phoned my local store of purchase to see if I can speak to Warren. The store CS rep placed me on hold, transferred me to an 'unmanned' line, and the call circulated for 10 mins between nowhere and back to the CS rep before the call was disengaged from the retail store. They are hiring some people that are dirty, smell like they haven't used a shower in a month or two. The guy in question is a young guy that wears a filthy hat. His pants are exposing his underwear and he he has absolutely no idea what he is looking for. 3. Restroom is dirty. What happened to customer service? I've been a faithful commercial general contractor, shopping at Lowes for over 20 years, mostly from this location. When he finish helping his customer, Craig came up to me. It was obvious he did not want to work from the start. All he kept telling me was it's over there turn right on that aisle right there. The associate that I asked for assistance named Ron Ebanks was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. I reported his behavior to Conrad G. who was introduced to me as the manager. Was in the store on April 20th and purchased a gas grill. Because it was a Weber, I was told that I couldn't get one of the ones was on display inside the store even though there were at least three of the same model. I was told that I could get free assembly and delivery though. The sales person took me to customer service to get the purchase rung up. I asked if they would deliver on the following Saturday which would have been April 27th and was told yes. After getting home, I found that we'd been charged the $79.00 delivery charge which was supposed to be free. I called the store, spoke to a manager and they refunded the delivery charge. All is good, right? Well, on Saturday the 27th I still hadn't heard anything from the delivery department so I called the store. I was then told that delivery was scheduled for Saturday, May 4th. Upset about that, I was told that they could get it delivered after 5:00 PM on Monday. Today, Sunday, I received a text message saying that delivery will be between 10:45 and 2:45 on Monday although it was supposed to be after 5:00. I spoke to customer service at the store and was told that I had to call the delivery company. I called them and was told that the truck only had 7 deliveries on Monday and couldn't deliver to me that late in the day. Supposedly, it will be delivered after 5:00 on Tuesday now. At this point, free delivery or not, their delivery is a joke. I WAS going to go today and shop for a new french door refrigerator there but after this experience I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from them for delivery. I regret not purchasing this same grill from Home Depot or the local Ace Hardware for the exact same price and I'm sure with what would have been a lot less hassle.. read more

We waited 44 minutes for someone to help us with lights. We had already selected the lights, but needed to get them off a higher shelf. After the third request of someone to help in the lighting section, I went to customer service desk and asked for a manager. The manager was paged twice and never showed up, although there were five employees gathered at the door talking, no one was available to help a customer willing to purchase several hundred dollars worth of product. My boyfriend & I visit this Lowes whenever we need paint or items for the house. It's really clean and the staff is friendly. The prices are relatively the same as other home improvement stores but they do have discounts some times. Bobby & I went to paint the living room a lime green the other day & they had a promotion going on for every $50 in painting supplies you buy you get $10 off. That was really nice since paint supplies can get expensive! The only negative is that it's on a really busy road making coming and going a bit difficult because of the heavy traffic. So I went back to this store, I was using a gift rewards from my discover card. Although I used it a few times at this store, two clerks could not figure it out, and then tried to redirect me to another person in the store. So, because the clerks don't know how to do there jobs, I have to jump through hoops to use a gift card. I'm calling Discover to get a credit on the unused balance and will use it somewhere else. It's now 1/2 hour later and I went the Lowes in Suwanee, and with out a hesitation the clerk was able to use the e- certificate. I guess I'll shop at the Suwanee location from now on. You spend $2900 + on a washer and dryer set up a delivery date, wait 2 weeks and they call you 1 hour before they are out of their delivery window to tell you they have to to reschedule! I would leave zero stars if possible. I purchased a "new" lawn tractor for $1899. The original delivery date was postponed 2 days from the promised date for no specific reason. The mower that was delivered was clearly used with gas in the tank & a dead battery. Once the battery was charged, the "new" mower had nearly 43 hours of run time on it. When I contacted the store, I was told that it must've been a mistake & they'd pick it up & send the unused mower. Another 3 days later & the wrong model was delivered. A model that was $200 cheaper & NOT what I ordered. Again, I was told that they had no idea how this could've happened. Paul, the delivery manager must need more training. I called & spoke with head cashier Jordan & requested a full refund. She said, "no problem" & that I would be given a refund as soon as they picked up and returned the wrong mower. Another 2 days. The morning after the wrong model was picked up, yet a 3rd mower was delivered & sitting in my driveway without my knowledge or acceptance. REALLY!?! At this point, I was forced to go to the store myself to get this resolved. I spoke to the very unprofessional assistant manager Manny who said that he didn't understand how any of this could have happened. He scheduled ANOTHER pick-up the following day & promised my refund the following day after, at the latest. 3 days later& STILL no refund. A week later some delivery guy called to set up delivery, I could barely understand him! No delivery made that week, no phone call or notification. I went to the store and inquired on Feb. 26. After contacting the vendor, a new date of March 5-9 was given. Nothing delivered, no phone call. Went back to store, delivery around March 13-16. No phone call, no notifications of any kind. This may be just fine for some. However, Never again for our family. I have had a Lowes credit card for a while now and have done a lot of shopping there and until now, have never had an issue. Back in June, I had an outside sales rep come to my home and give me a quote to replace all of my windows in my house. We agreed on the price, the windows and everything went just as it should. On July 31st, my windows were installed and the installation crew do a decent job, but there was defects from the manufacture on one window on both the upper and lower sash as well as two screens that had rips in them. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact the store and get no where, because the store does not like to answer their phone. I have called customer service and filed multiple complaints while being told that the store would have no choice but to call me now. Still got no where. My windows finally came in to the store and the installation crew called me to schedule. On the day of the installation, the technician called me from the store stating that the store cannot find the windows anywhere. Finally, 3 months later, an Assistant Manager from the store finally called me to tell me that the windows would have to be reordered because they could not be located. Management at this location should not be employed by Lowes as they do not make Lowes look good and the District Manager is just the same as I have asked for him to call me and I have had my complaint in customer service escalated and still get no where. Do not buy windows from Lowes as they do not care about you once you give them the money. I have tried and tried to get someone from corporate to call me and that does not happen either. It is now November, and the windows are still not replaced since July and Lowes is not very communicative. read more

So I purchased a refrigerator from here and it has been A NIGHTMARE. They were supposed to call the night before to confirm a time, no call. When I called the next morning, it took 15 minutes and several transfers to find out when it was going to be delivered. Then when the window was past, they said that a truck was coming to pick up my fridge and bring it out. 3 hours later I called back and they said that no truck was coming and it would be there the NEXT DAY. We waited around all day for something they knew was not coming out! Then it got to is and it had a big dent in the door. They had to come back out and replace the door. Now the ice maker is dangling in the freezer in less than a week. I called, got three transfer shuffle and waited 35 minutes to get and answer about a replacement. Supposed to call last night, no call. Called this morning and was told that the delivery was going to be after 5pm and one of the last on the schedule!
