We've always had great customer service experiences here with ALL workers besides Marcayla. On multiple occasions, she has refused to give my husband his freebies. She always has some excuse like "it has to be part of the transaction and I already charged you" and when we ask how we can get it she says clearly states "no" , doesn't give a solution or option she just says "no". We honestly just let it go as this was a few months back and it was just free things we could do without. It was just more about the principle. However, we went in today and she not only rudely greeted us but once it came to check out she doesn't even give us the time of day just stays quiet. Not even a how are you or have a nice day, just a blank stare? Not sure why she acts like that with us every single time or what she has against my husband & I but it's annoying already. We're happy customers and always return but she makes it beyond uncomfortable to go in. Disappointing that harbor freight allows someone with this attitude to represent their store. read more

The predator auger from day one I had nothing but problems first one I had to take back. It was making a real bad knocking sound and it just wouldn't dig. Today was working with the replacement it worked stopped to take a break and the pool cord would not pull motor wasn't seized pull cord just wouldn't pull. I've heard things of their equipment before. I will never shop there again and I will make sure that anybody inquiring I will send them somewhere else you could see the equipment was new. Do you not shop here. I purchased a compressor used it for one day. It kept shutting down wouldn't hold pressure. Impossible to do my project. When I went to return it the only offer they provided was to exchange it for another inferior piece of equipment.... OR he charged a 20% restocking fee I will never step foot in any harbor freight again !! They sell interior products. I should've gone to Home Depot or Lowes where if there is a problem you will get a prompt, courteous FULL refund. My mistake, I will not make it again! read more

Tool inventory can be better.Employees don't offer much assistance. Spent 30 minutes looking for my tool with zero help from employees. Apparently I waited in the wrong line so I had to jump to the end of the line one aisle up. No direction on which line to stand in. Need to add some supplies...went up buy tape, tape gun, and some boxes, for storage needs... And guess what, no such thing in stock... Disappointed in the store, even asked an employee who was stocking.... Poor selection, poor customer service, lack of supply... Went back to Home Depot... My seasonal experience was very pleasant especially the cashier,he was very kind and helpful at explaining the coupons and sales. My first time buying a tool so I really felt weird but its clean and I had time to look at all the options. I was a little leery about going into the store after reading the other reviews, I really am glad that I came in and checked for myself because I found that the staff was very friendly and very helpful. An item I was looking for was not on the Shelf, so I asked an employee and they went and found it for me. I thought the store was awesome and the employees as well. Horrible service! DO NOT EVER purchase a gift card from this location. I purchased a $50 gift card and the clerk did not apply the money to the card and it clearly shows that on the receipt. I called corporate, no call back, called corporate again, was told I'm not gonna hear anything for another 5-10 business days. It's already been 5 days! Spoke to the location, talked to the supervisor, manager was out. They can't do anything, they need to talk to the DM. We paid cash for the gift card, and no one at Harbor Freight gives a crap. They don't care about customer service or keeping their consumers! They're happy they got my money and we got nothing! I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere! I shop here quite often. Somethings don't seem to be laid out in a logical manner but otherwise it's a great store to shop at. Frankly I don't understand why it's not as busy as the store in Lancaster. I used to drive the 50 miles or so there and back and now it's about 12 miles and I have the same selection as far as I can make out. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the employees at this store! Harbor Freight has never been my go to store for anything but now they have found a very loyal customer in me! After having a terrible time trying to locate a generator (as many people know, it has been impossible to find a decent generator with all the power outages and fires, I had been looking everywhere from santa clarita to Tehachapi) I had finally found one at a different retailer nearby, that store decided to sell the generator I had on hold after 15 minutes of me calling and then be rude and unhelpful as I voiced my distress... my sister called harbor freight since it was close to my location and julian was extremely helpful and was able to quickly locate the generator we needed and put it on hold for me. After I got to Harbor Freight julian was right there to great me, he probably knew it was me from the distress in my eyes and voice. to my surprise the generator was right there waiting for me! The manager (her name escapes me as I was so upset from the events of the day) was very kind and advised me of a coupon that saved me a lot of money, which she absolutely did not have to do for me so I am very grateful she took the time out of her day to ensure I was able to save money. julian also offered to help me out to the car which was amazing as I am pregnant and wasn't sure how I would accomplish such a thing, although that wasn't going to stop me after finding what seemed to be the last generator within 100 mile radius, he even tied it down for me and didn't rush me as I ranted about my terrible day. I am so thankful for the employees at this location and again I will say that they have found a very loyal customer in me! read more
