PARRIS Law Firm - $8.9 Million car accident verdict

    PARRIS Law Firm

I was very pleased and satisfied with this law firm. It was a difficult case in that the company's purchase agreement contained all kinds of legal language limiting their liability as well as limiting the options for resolving a dispute. The company initially offered me $2000 to settle. Parris Law got involved and was able to negotiate a $45,000 settlement. Thank you Parris!

This firm is a joke!! i would probably been better off going with jacoby & meyers!! Parris law…read morefirm is a big firm with multiple lawyers that go after cases that small firms cannot handle. That is what exactly happened to me. I got hit making a left turn and a kid running a red light. I injured my lower back in 2021 and the firm recommended me to have surgery. I got the surgery and from there I had more complications. The defendants insurance company would not pay and ultimately we sued them for "bad faith", as the attorneys for parris told me. They did not disclose any of the contingencies agreement and pretty much forced me to sign it. Had I known they would take 40% I would of went the opposite direction. The attorneys were so nice during the 2 years of litigation. Almost to a point I had 100 % trust. That is where they get you!! you put your trust in someone that knows the law and think that they have good intentions, but trust me when I say it is a form of deception. When I got an offer from the defendant for 987,000 I thought that i would at least walk away with more than everyone else. Mind you , I was also hesitant to take that offer and wanted to go to trial. But my attorney pretty much convinced me that this was a good deal and that going to trial would cost me more money. The attorneys used my financial hardship as a tool to get me to sign the offer. They also told me they have the best negotiating team in the country and would get my leans down at least 25 to 30 percent. That was a lie, Rawlings which is the health insurance that handles leans was only at 46%. Random people and doctors with their grubby little hands took a big chunk. I mean I do not know how much a shot cost but it sure isn't 4000 dollars. The random pharmacy charged me like 1000 and when I called them... they said that is the price of doing business!!?? whatever that means... This law firm is a joke and the only reason why they get to do what they do and get away with it is because the father of the company is some big shot DA in lancaster or something political lawyer there. stay away and do not sign with them.... oh yeah, as soon as I signed the offer, guess what: I was totally ignored and treated like a red headed step child: (no offense to the red hair people out there, its just a saying). I have contacted the bar association and even went as far as calling the firm. Guess what they said: its too late and that they could not do anything for me. wha a joke

I also ordered delivery, installation, and removal of the old unit. The delivery was on time and they removed the old unit. Those were the only tasks done right. The installation team (coincidentally the same two guys as the delivery team) tried to install the new unit using the existing brackets from the old unit instead of using the brackets (and templates) that came with the new unit. They fiddled around and drilled 5 or 6 holes in semi-random locations (because who uses templates when you are a crack expert installation team???) and finally drove the mounting screws cock-eyed into the unit so that it is hanging about 1.5 inches below the bottom of the cabinet. Lastly they just ignored the exhaust vent piping leaving the transition adapter completely disconnected from the microwave (by, coincidentally, that same 1.5 inches). I said: "what are you going to do about this big gap? They said: "That's just the way it is with those brackets, but if you don't like it you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit". I said: "I don't like it and you need to fix it." They cheerfully pointed out: "If you don't like it you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit." They then proceeded to take the shipping box, that still contained all the necessary but unused parts, and scooted out the door, noting: "If you don't like it you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit." They left behind a cloud of wood chips, cardboard scraps, Styrofoam bits, and plastic sheeting on the counters, floor, and stove. Oh, and they left behind a card that said "you can call this number within 48 ours to return the unit". So I called that number (around 5 minutes after delivery since I didn't really need to wait 48 hours) and told Home Depot they need to come and do the installation properly (with a different crew), repairing my cabinet, and they probably need to bring a new unit because all of the necessary installation parts departed with the previous cheerful delivery/installation crew. Update: 12/13: I replied to the HD form in the comment. Update: 12/13: Repair crew arrived and looked at the install and said they would order a new unit and get it installed properly. They also stated they generally don't look at the unit instructions during install because "they are experts", and stated they don't use the templates because they "measure"... without referencing the installation instructions.

She said I needed to scan the QR code on the cake ordering sign, then asked me when I needed the cake. I said this Saturday (2-3 day advance order, which is what we've always done). She replied cake orders need to be placed 3-4 weeks in advance - I said, what?? I've never had to order that far ahead, what's going on? She answered it's been that way for 2-3 years. Wow! Where is that posted? It's not. They are too busy and I should have known that ... Honestly, that's fine, Sam's Club has that right, but I still think it should be posted. By the way, she was a bit snotty and condescending when I added, I've ordered many cakes at Sam's Club and never had to order 3 weeks ahead. She assured me I was quite wrong; it's been that way for 2-3 years and I haven't ordered a cake in at least 2-3 years ... yes, yes I have, and I have the receipts to prove it. Would sure appreciate being spoken to like I'm a valued PAID BUSINESS MEMBER (since 2005). If I'm going to order a half sheet cake from Costco, I'm going to go ahead and do all my shopping at the same time. Scan n Go is what keeps me shopping at Sam's Club but snippy little girls in the bakery department will cause me to take my business elsewhere. So, if you didn't know, it's 3 -4 weeks' notice to order custom cakes at Sam's Club. So disappointed I will be shopping at Costco ...
