Very solid take out stand at Camden Harbor which has long been one of my favorite places. Bratwurst and the fish tacos both were on point

My husband and I shared an Asian Jumbo Walking Taco with Fried Haddock and a Haddock Reuben. The walking tacos are more of a wrap/small burrito than a taco (and also not a bag of Fritos like what I know a walking taco to be). This was one of the best meals we had on our 10 day Maine trip. The fish was so fresh and I loved the unique preparation. You see a lot of the same type of stuff in coastal Maine, so this was a great change of pace. It's a small shack along the coast in Camden. There are some picnic tables nearby that you can eat at. The food was ready fast and the owner was very friendly. read more

Walking around Camden we got a little peckish, and thankfully that's when we happened upon this little place! Eating in the sunshine at the harbor? YES! I got the cheeseburger, it was delicious and perfectly flavored. My kids got grilled cheese and ate them all up. My husband got the all beef hotdog and loved it. Fries were crispy and hot! read more

Great place to stop by if you want quick, friendly service and a good meal. Went w the shrimp poor boy $7.50. Batter was very flavorful. Shrimp nice and crisp. This place is great!! Right by the water with good parking near beautiful downtown Camden, decent prices, and yummy (fast) seafood. I ordered a "Asian" fish taco with shrimp, which was wrapped in a tortilla like a burrito. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and it was flavorful - I do wish there was a spicy sauce or a creamy sauce for it, but it was still good. My dad ordered a hot dog and my mom ordered fish and chips. My parents both enjoyed their food - you can't really mess up a hot dog or fish and chips but both were fresh and good for the price. read more

Had an hour before boarding the Schooner Appledore for a sunset cruise on the bay..we spotted this little hut on the pier..time for a bite was kinda taken by surprise it's not just dogs but upscale dogs, sausages and burgers..but would it be Maine if they didn't have a Lobster Roll or Fish and Chips? I grabbed a Haddock Rueben and some sweet fries. The damage was 13$ and worth every penny! Fish was delicious and plentiful on grilled rye..so good! Awesome stop right by the water. They're open seasonally but great on the way to bar harbor in the summer. Lots of veggie options - i got the veggie dog and my bf got the combo fish/shrimp taco. Found this little stand right next to the harbor. Grabbed the southwest fish taco and a burger. The fried fish was delicious!! We loved that it came wrapped as a burrito, made it easier to eat. Wished we would've gotten 2 tacos, they were that good! We watched the boats come in while eating our lunch, such a great experience. We will be back! read more

I absolutely recommend Harbor Dogs! The food is great. Their wraps are wonderful. I'm partial to the Santa Fe wrap, myself. The people are great and they even have veggie dogs. So if you don't want to spend a fortune going to a restaurant in Camden, try Harbor Dogs! Just be aware that the town charges you to park in the lot down there. read more

I ordered the fried haddock Reuben and it is one of the top sandwiches OF MY LIFE. Everything was perfectly cooked and fresh, the fish was delicious, the crunch was amazing, the sauerkraut was sharp and fresh, the bread was buttered and toasted to an ideal crispness, the Russian dressing was perfectly proportioned... my friends who insisted on ice cream for lunch looked in longingly as I enjoyed every last crumb. Hidden gem in Camden. The portions are perfect for lunch, and leave you feeling satisfied. We got a lobster roll (well toasted bread, perfectly dressed lobster), a Chilean dog (good sausage), and an Asian dog (tangy and full of veggies). The fries are really crispy and they taste great. Honestly wasn't expecting much from this spot, but the food and service really blew me away. The owners customized many of the options for our needs, offering smaller portions and veggie options. The walking tacos at Harbor Dogs are DIVINE! I had my first (the Down East taco) in 2018 and dreamed of coming back for it for 5 years. I finally made it back this week and it was just as good as I remember! I had to try all 3 they had to offer before we left and they were ALL delicious! I was in Maine for a wedding and the one thing everyone on this planet told me to try was a lobster roll. So I made it my weekend mission to have a lobster roll from a different spot every day I was in Maine. Harbor Dogs was day three of four. I can't even compare all of the rolls but this one did not disappoint. So much good meat and the roll was well cooked. I got to enjoy my roll along the harbor so all in all such a great experience. The only downfall was I was tricked into buying a Moxie. Even Mainers don't drink it because it's like root beer with a cough syrup aftertaste. Nice little food stand in a good area. Plenty of sitting options and the food was decent. I got a lobster roll that was ok. My dad got a crab roll that was good but small and messy. My brother and sister both complained the burgers weren't so good. And the fries were in need of salt.
