This was such an awesome find! We are on a road trip and found them in yelp as we were riding the coast line. They had two more days left of the season. Locals expressed their sadness to see them go leaving each other with a "have a good winter!" We felt lucky to have been able to catch them while they were still open. We got a half cheese and half hamburger and jalapeño pizza. It was amazing! We loved it!! Everything was delicious! I would highly recommend. The best part was we caught golden hour over the water with the sun hitting the tops of the trees. It was a great location for a sunset dinner. It made for a truly memorable moment on our trip. I am making a yelp account simply to review this place. This is the best seafood i've had in my life. It was the freshest, tenderest, juiciest seafood I've ever had. This place is a hidden gem. The onion rings are real and hold their structure well, but are super juicy. The same applies for the rest in this plate. Simply incredible. The service was incredible. I was walking down my the pier while the food was cooking and the cashier called my name from far away. I'm not sure how she projected her voice that far, but she made sure I got my food! After buying this i had $40 in my pocket. I spend the last $35 on a second platter and I would do it again. 10/10 recommend. Beware they only accept cash payment!!! read more

This is a great food truck in Searsport! The prices are very reasonable. Just keep ib mind they are cash only so make sure to have cash on you! They are super friendly. The sea scallops are the best I have had. Their onion rings wirth the comeback sauce are amazing! All of their sandwhiches are top notch, and they have awesome specials. Being right next to the water is a great place to relax and eat. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is their pizza is overpriced and the sauce they use on it made me sick. It is similar to Tripoli's s Pizza sauce if you are from Mass and that sauce tastes terrible. Other than that I highly recommend you stop by for the rest of their menu! read more

RUDE! Was running some errands and decided to stop by. I got there a little early (was busy and lost track of time). The gentleman asked "May I help you?" I started to order and he interrupted me and said "We are not open, our hours are written on bright yellow" All he would have had to say was "Sorry, we are not open yet" instead of talking down to me. If you've read any of my other restaurant reviews, you know that my husband and I like to drive around (although less so lately, unfortunately, with the price of gas) and get something to eat from a local place - snack bar or restaurant - before finding a pretty water spot at which to eat our food. Such is the case with Bricks and Sticks, which is located on Steamboat Avenue in Searsport, right in the parking lot of the public pier - dinner AND a beautiful view!! BINGO! Now, I have to admit that I was under-whelmed when I first looked at the place, but it was definitely a case not judging a book, etc, etc, etc. What intrigued us was that it always seemed to be busy, and the menu is quite varied, and easily available online, via Facebook. They've done what others could/should do - their menu is their cover photo. However, I will point out that Facebook also has a handy-dandy "MENU" button that restaurants can use, too. Restaurants should be using everything they can to show potential new customers what they're offering - as easily and as blatantly as possible. Unlike a lot of other places, they didn't make me wade through 1000's of photos - 99% of which have nothing to do with their food - to try to find their friggin' menu. That's been the frequent reason why we haven't gone to some places. If we can't find your menu - your LEGIBLE, COMPLETE, IN FOCUS menu - easily online, then we're going to assume you're not very interested in enticing customers to patronize your establishment. I digressed into a rant. My apologies. Frankly, it's rare that I see more than one or two things that I want to try from any given restaurant, but I had five or six I wanted to try from them. We got lunch - and were so happy with it - that we decided to get a pizza later, to take home. I got the prime rib Philly cheesesteak, with no mushrooms and a light amount of mayo. My husband got the pastrami reuben, with a side of onion rings. Both of our meals were EXCELLENT. His reuben was full of lean pastrami. He liked every component. I'd never had a pastrami reuben, so I had a bite, and even I liked it, and you all know that I don't like anything! :) The onion rings were really great, too! They had the kind of batter around them that reminded me of Mac's in Auburn, although it was a bit less doughnuttty (?) than Mac's. But they were just right crisp, with that unusual batter, and a portion easily generous enough for us to share. OH! And the "Come Back" sauce that came with them was to die for!! I had to look the recipe up on line - it was the best dipping sauce for onion rings I've ever had - hands down - and I bet it would be great on other things, too! My cheesesteak was wonderful! It, too, had plentiful prime rib that was nice and lean - no mouthfuls of unpleasant fat or gristle, which I've encountered from various places along the way. Although our little dog benefits from things like that as a treat, it's unpleasant to me in the extreme. There were tons of fresh tasting, colorful peppers, as well as a generous amount of tender onions and cheese. The roll was a bit bready, but that's not unusual for a cheesesteak. It wasn't overwhelmingly so, though, and it tasted fresher than most hoagie rolls. Really, really good! When we returned later in the afternoon, we got a pizza - 18 inches! I didn't realize quite how huge that was! We got pepperoni, extra cheese, and onions - and - I've never said this about a pizza place before, but they were almost overly generous with the cheese. But DAMN, that was a great pizza!! I'm a pepperoni hound, so I would have liked a little more pepperoni - although I didn't consider them to be miserly about it, either. It was so good, though - thicker cut than most places, and with a wonderful flavor. I just wanted more of it. Next time, I'll get extra pepperoni, too! That pizza lasted for 3 meals - it's just us, and the slices are enormous!! One of them is a meal's worth, really! The staff - owner, I think? - at the register was very accommodating, polite, and efficient. She and I chatted for a bit, and she even brought our pizza over to our car for us. Bricks and Sticks is like a 15 out of 10, easily - and you know what a fussbudget I am. We will DEFINITELY be going back - to get more onion rings, another pizza, and to try some of the undoubtedly delectable things we haven't tasted yet!! read more

We have eaten there probably 10 times in the past two years. Great food, great portions, great value. As you can see from the pictures, there are 8 huge scallops in the baskets. I say huge as you have to cut them in half to eat. They are cooked to perfection too, not overcooked at all! We also had the combo with haddock and scallops which was great. Love love love that this is a new gem to dine at in Searsport. Cash only so come prepared. The menu is diverse. They have wood fired pizza. There are 3 picnic tables on the water you can dine at our it is take out. Call ahead and preorder larger orders. Our family loves the margarita pizza- which they also offer with a cauliflower crust if needed. The cheesesteak was a hit. The fried shrimp is a go to for my nephew. The Maine crab meat roll is my favorite. Wear a mask! Tip well and enjoy your meal. They are closed Monday and Tuesday. read more

More than a food truck! Wanted to enjoy the good weather and not in the mood to sit in a restaurant for dinner. Enjoyed good food and a peaceful view of kayakers paddling by, kid's swimming and playing, and the boats. We had Maine crabmeat rolls, onion rings, potato salad, and coleslaw. The potato salad was definitely homemade and yummy, coleslaw was delicious (similar to KFC), crisp onion rings and crabmeat stuffed in fresh hotdog rolls. Menu very extensive. Brought home a HUGE slice of brick oven pizza but have not tried it yet. Bring cash, as is CASH ONLY. I don't know if they provide the picnic tables or the town does, but either way I think they should provide some maintenance since I think it's mostly their customers that probably use them. Also there were four trash cans available, but because cartons are big they were difficult to dispose of. read more

It is off the beaten path- directions will tell you they are at the top of the road- but really at the bottom I may the top of the parking lot- nice set up- cool variety of wood fired pizza's and seafood- one word of caution- Everything is fried- however lightly fried- the fried whole belly clams were Amazing!! As were the scallops! The lady taking orders suggested the haddock as it was fresh and she was right!! Huge chunks!! One of the best parts was sitting on the picnic tables right next to the fishing pier- and if the picnic tables are full sit along the rocks of the shore- beautiful peace views read more

Wow! All I can say is that I'm sorry we haven't been here before! Yesterday was a rainy day and we had a little extra time for lunch so we stopped by Bricks n Sticks at the Searsport waterfront/pier. Service was superb, food was superb. We each tried something different: Prime Rib Steak Sub,Buffalo Chicken Burger, and Veggies Burger. Portions were large and everyone enjoyed their choice! Doing a late review from 2 days ago. I moved into the area a little over a year ago and had yet to try Bricks N Sticks. I was NOT disappointed. They had the best coleslaw I have ever had, some premier fries, and their pizza and pulled pork are top notch. First time here ever and I would have been happier having a TV dinner. The prime rib bacon poutine, was tasteless and who would ever put a mornay sauce for poutine it was terrible three of us tasted it and we ended up throwing it out after we had one bite each, the fried clam strips were not fresh clams they were right out of the freezer like you would get in the grocery store, the onion rings were greasy, the coleslaw wasn't half bad and the BLT was edible.
