    Loaded nachos
    Nicci G.

Harbor Burger Bar is located right in Stone Harbor surrounded by all of their amazing shops. It's a great place to grab a drink at a bar or eat after a long day of shopping. They have a nice size bar with many different drink options. I had an Aperol Spritz and it was pretty good. Next, I had their loaded nachos and trust me when I say they were loaded. They satisfied every craving I had for bar food nachos. Then I ate their Cali burger which was good and I really enjoyed their homemade chips that were paired with it. The one neat thing about this place is it is attached to a movie theater. So you can grab a bite to eat and then go watch a movie. If you are ever in Stone Harbor and want a drink or some food. Come check this place out and get the nachos!

    July 2022 crab dip

July 2022 I went here for the first time and it was a good experience. Located right on 96th street in part of the movie theater it is unique. We ordered the crab dip and it was served with warm pita triangles. I thought it was ok- I've had way better. The burger itself was cooked medium as I requested. Very thick burger and fresh tomato onion and lettuce and white cheddar cheese. For 15$ it was decent but fries are an upgrade. Of course. I stuck with the house chips it came with and they were good. My son ordered an espresso martini and that was a staggering 15$ drink! Gulp! I wish I had room for the cookie skillet with Ice-cream but alas I was full. While I did enjoy the meal- I prefer Fred's Tavern. It was delicious and I likely will go back and get my hands on the cookie skillet. Service was friendly and watch out the new thing is charging customers 3% to use credit cards.

    Bland burger!

Eh. Burger was bland and dry. Cocktails were weak. Service was alright. If you're in the area I am sure you can get better food elsewhere.

I visited here a few years ago and don't recall much, but today we had an hour to kill before a movie in the attached theatre, and it was lunch time. We were going to split a sandwich or something but one of us decided on the summer salad and I struck interest in a starter made of ricotta cheese, hot honey, which turned out to mean spicy, and walnuts served with toasted crostinis. When it arrived it came in a glass jar, kind of like a jelly jar. The honey was all on the bottom and had to be mixed in. I tried dipping the bread but I found it easier to spoon it onto the bread. I really hardly know what to say about this item, because it was exactly as it was described. But somehow the taste just did not work for me. It was very sweet and the little kick from the hot honey had a chamoy vibe if you like Tex-Mex. But the texture did not work as a dip. I think it would work better on some kind of salad, kind of like hot bacon dressing if you are a Penna Dutch food afficionado. Well enough comparrisons to pseudo ethnic fare. Order this if there are 6 of you, you can each get a crostini and sample it. Otherwise you may find it a bit much as a flavor combo. The summer salad had small tomatoes listed as cherry tomatoes, which they were not. But most people think they are one and the same anyway. It seemed refreshing and a good choice for end of summer fare. We both got unsweet tea and it was nicely brewed. The bill with tip was about $55 or so for the two of us. A bit more than we had been looking for but with the proximity to the movie we were set. The wait staff was very attentive but not overly so and our food came out quickly, which we expected it would. Overall a great lunch spot in Stone Harbor for some traditional fare and some things with a twist.

One of the more affordable eating establishments in Stone Harbor, this is the perfect family place. Large menu selection of typical bar food. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Love the open windows out onto the sidewalk, where the summer crowd streams onto 96th street. Great atmosphere. Drinks are pricey. I didn't make it to Fred's this summer but curious how the food and burgers compare to Fred's Tavern.

Loaded nachos - if by loaded they mean loaded with sliced black olives, fake liquid cheese, and diced tomatoes
    Kelly P.

Average greasy bar food with a casual, upbeat, loud ambiance and convenient, quick service so you can get your meal then take it To-Go to the theatres to watch a film. The loaded nachos were loaded with sliced (probably canned) black olives, a cheese-like liquid substance (not quite your standard nacho cheese- a bit paler and calmer in taste), diced tomatoes, and some jalapeños. It came with a side of sour cream and left MUCH to be desired (would have preferred some guac, salsa, cilantro, onions or shredded cheese). I got the bison burger with a gluten free bun and sweet potato fries- probably the best item on their menu, tbh. The caramelized onions were FABULOUS and the bison patty hit the spot, but the bun was definitely a bit dense and dry so the flavor of the burger itself was completely overpowered- once I started eating it open face, it was much better. The sweet potato steak-style fries were quite delectable as well- although some of the bigger pieces were hard and not cooked through all the way, but the average size piece was crispy on the outside, soft in, which is ideal. I would probably only return if I was going to see a movie, based on the convenience.

I was visiting my daughters and decided to take them to this burger restaurant for dinner. As soon as we sat down I could already tell that our waiter was not interested in his job and lacked any personality or cared to engage with his customers. We watched the rest of the servers in this place and everyone was 110% not our guy. It was like his dad asked his brother to give his son a job and he just wanted to go home the whole time and was not having it. I would've given it five stars be cause the burgers were absolutely delicious but that server no he needs to go!

It was okay. The best thing were the cheesesteak egg rolls. Definitely recommend those. My chicken sandwich was meh. My husband said his tacos were decent. Location is convenient and atmosphere is cute as it's connected to the movie theatre, so it has the retro movie vibe going on.

    Not the correct menu!
    Jessica F.

First of all this menu posted on Yelp is NOT the correct menu. It's ridiculously difficult to order for take out at this place. I can't understand why the correct menu is not linked to the correct website. Once a person can get to the correct menu, it still isn't updated w/the correct info. I have also seen a movie here which is why I gave it at least 2stars. I do appreciate the renovated movie theater but the restaurant is providing false advertisement stating that you can order a spiked shake to watch w/your movie. The bartender rudely told me, "we don't do that". It's a shame the way they are treating its customers because we have gone to this establishment for years. It's a staple when we visit the shore, but not anymore.

    Dustin W.

There was a man who either worked here (or was the owner) that walked through the entire restaurant, stood in the kitchen doorway as food went out, stood behind the bar, and served himself a drink all while NOT WEARING A MASK. Throughout our meal, we saw 4 men come from the kitchen and stand behind the bar without a mask. Additionally, the bartender only wore her mask over her mouth. I would not recommend coming to Harbor Burger Bar until the entire staff appropriately follows the same rules put in place that their patrons are expected to follow. The food was good and as expected; the waitresses/hostess were all very nice, helpful and followed the Covid rules.

My dad and I visited the theater for the matinee showing of Star Wars a few weeks ago. We were thrilled to find out we could bring our food into the theater with us! I got the Turkey Burger with Truffle fries. The burger was a bit dry and not very flavorful. The fries stole the show. It was a bit overpriced for the mediocrity of the burger. My dad got the Buffalo Chicken Rolls which were delicious. I will likely be back again when I come into town, but may just get an appetizer to bring into the theater. Hopefully the rest of the burgers are mor flavorful since this place is advertised as a burger bar.

Burger bar always has a great menu with a lot of variety. The food is always delicious and the location is in a prime spot on the main strip in Stone Harbor. The drinks are good and I have never had a problem with service. This is a usual place to sit down for food when i'm in the area!

    Classic cheeseburger
    Alex T.

Love the movie theater. First time trying the restaurant. Ordered classic burger with side of fries and buffalo chicken egg rolls. Egg roll were very good and filling. Tried half of the burger and it was just ok. I was puzzled because I love pat LaFrieda burgers. Maybe this was a different blend but it was just ok. Bun and lettuce and tomato were fine. Side of fries were very good, thin cut and plentiful. They do charge another $2 for them but they give you a lot. Overall would try it again. Score somewhere between 3 and 3.5. Wife said 2-2.5 because of the burger. Expectations are high when you call yourself a burger bar.

We were seated on the rooftop and had a great view from our table. Immediately we were greeted and brought water and had our drink order taken. Our waitress explained the menu and we decided on all Tapas. The street corn is something I could eat for breakfast lunch and dinner every day so 10/10. The crab dip was delicious as well but not super strong crabby taste which made it about a 7/10 for me. I'm not a huge mushroom fan but I did have one and I enjoyed it a lot! The crispy calamari was a 10/10 as well and the chipotle aioli that came with it was the perfect pairing. The Gambas Al Alijo was also delicious! Perfect amount of seasoning. We also got the flank steak which was very good but we did ask for it to be cooked medium and it came out more well done than anything but still delicious! We ended the night with a nice little birthday surprise tart, complimentary. A very cute touch! Overall we loved the place and I'll definitely be visiting again and recommending!

Great place for a date night or a group dinner. Located on the 8th floor of the Cambria hotel. Park in the red cement marked Spain Wine Bar spaces; blue is for the hotel guests. Delicious food with fun cocktails and wines. Here is what we had over three dinners: - Cheese and Charcuterie Board with Drunken Goat cheese (mild flavor) and Jamon Serrano. It came with olives, apricot jam, and mixed nuts. We ran out of crackers and cheese quickly, so I would recommend getting two cheeses and extra bread. - Roasted Beet Salad - lots of cold beet chunks and sprinkled with Valdeon cheese (white cheese similar to feta), Great way start the visit - Short Rib Bocadillo - really loved this - it was short ribs on a lobster roll (no lobster) and the onions really made the flavors pop - Coffee Rubbed Pork Ribs - not spicy - Mmm mmm good! - Flank Steak with green chimichurri - tender and delicious. It did have tiny ribbons of fat on some of the edges. - Patatas Bravas - good size of roasted potatoes, tomato sauce with a drizzle of garlic aioli - Jamon Serrano Croquettes (ham and cheese) - Lollipop chicken - really good fried chicken legs with lots of meat at the top - Pan Seared Blackened tuna with corn avocado salad and micro cilantro. This was tasty but not a lot of tuna for the price - Pistachio gelato - light pistachio flavor - Olive OIl Cake with vanilla bean ice cream - big enough to share. We enjoyed it and it was different. You don't taste the olive oil. It was a denser golden cake. - Flourless chocolate cake covered in a white anglaise sauce and sprinkled with cocoa powder We had the red sangria which was good and came with a dendrobium orchid. We noticed the amount seemed low, about 1/3 full, in the glass but the table next to use had more like 1/2 full in the glass. I tried the Tiramisu White Russian drink for a dessert, and I really did not love it but just drank it to finish it.

Great service by Gavin (attentive, friendly, let us set the pace) and outstanding food justified the 5 star rating despite the hostess seating. We started with the shrimp cocktail. The 5 shrimp were fresh and delicious. Next we shared the wedge salad. It was huge! Easily enough for 2 and way too much for one. It had a ton of fresh blue cheese, tomatoes, and bacon. Delicious.
