Convenient spot to work since it's open late and has free wifi/okay amount of seating (not as big as I expected). Tried the bee bite, which is basically bread drizzled in honey and filled with cream cheese. Yummy but not something I'd order again. Also tried my friend's ube cheesecake and it was surprisingly very light! Did not taste like ube though. Service is quick but the cashier misunderstood my order (I asked for the zaatar bee bite).
Definitely beats Starbucks! Such a great snack offering, lots of delectable treats. Though the venue is kinda small, they seem to encourage lounging so you can chill there a bit if you want. Pastrami Eggplant Sandwich: This was a sleeper hit! In a place that has tons of desserts and coffee/tea options, you don't expect much from the limited sandwich choices. Grilled eggplant and grilled peppers, with a nice char, imparted so much flavor. A little bit of salty pastrami and some sort of strong cheese complemented it well. Then the fluffy bread, slightly toasted, carried it all. Felt both light and packed with flavor. Veggie Samosa: Like an Indian samosa, but with a bready shell instead of deep fried shell. Enjoyed the spiced potatoes and veggies. Beef Samosa: A tad skimpy on the beef. Seemed to be a lot of onions. Chicken Samosa: This struck the right balance of generous amount of filling and nicely spiced ground chicken. My favorite of the samosa trio. Rose Milk Cake: Kinda like a Middle Eastern Tres Leches. Love the bring pink color and distinctive sweet rose flavor. Very creamy soaked cake, with some nice milk sauce excess flowing at the bottom. Dubai Ube Cheesecake: I swear, this is just compounding viral trends. It's essentially an ube cheesecake with a little bit of kataifi and a little bit of pistachio dust. The base cheesecake was rich and tasty. The gimmick of the other stuff felt a bit unnecessary. Iced Pistachio Latte: Looks trendy with black on green. Not too sweet. Had a legit savory pistachio nut flavor. I think they used real pistachios since there was some grit at the bottom, which might have been nut particles. Quite interesting.
Was on my way to an appointment and needed a quick matcha, so I ordered ahead on Uber Eats. I got the Vanilla Matcha Cloud! So delicious, I just wish there was a smaller option than 20oz. Upon arrival my drink was ready (about 5-7 min). It also smells so good when you walk in, I'll def be back to study! Thanks Haraz!!
Visited on a warm day in SF and I wasn't in the mood for iced coffee but had seen on their yelp pics they had non-coffee options so we made our way from Union Square. The girl taking our order welcomed my questions. I ordered a strawberry lemonade, which was ok, but I was disappointed to find out it's not fresh lemonade and actually from a bottle of Organic lemonade from Costco. I ordered it anyways because nothing else on the menu called to me. I asked for no strawberry syrup/puree in mine (trying to limit my sugar) but they seemed to still put some anyways b/c my drink was pink. Hubby got the hibiscus iced tea, which is made in-house (we asked). He got his w/no sugar. It was hot this day and so it was pretty warm inside, and I know SF spots don't have AC but they were doing their best with a portable fan. The shop itself is small, but there is seating, which was nice so we could take a break from walking around. There is also a restroom available - you need to get the code from them. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Union Square, so a convenient stop if you're nearby.
So this place has popped up a couple of times as I'm looking for places to try around SF near my hotel. I happened to walk by so I thought I'd take a quick look and I was looking for a little snack. I got the chicken samosa which looked baked instead of fried so I got one to try. It was just ok. Filling was ehh, nothing special really. I might have ordered the wrong thing so if I have time, I'll have to come back and try a coffee maybe. Not sure. Friendly though. SYOY!
Came here because the coffee shop nearby we were planning to go to turned out to not open till 8 am and we didn't have time to wait. It's a small place but has a few tables plus window counter seating. Lots of quite delicious looking Yemeni pastries as well as regular bakery items. We tried a cinnamon roll and a plain butter croissant. Both are substantial in size but still quite pricy - $6.50/$5.75 respectively, which seem to be expensive even for San Francisco.
My friend and I were walking around the area after leaving the stadium and we knew we wanted something to drink before we headed back home. Passing by a few shops, we stumbled upon this coffee shop. Seating was pretty vast and they have a nice selection of baked goods and coffee choices. My friend got some sort of Turkish coffee but I opted for something I would be more familiar with. Iced Caramel Macchiato: A classic drink of espresso and milk with ice. Their espresso is very good and it was not overly powerful nor subtle. The caramel was not overloaded either, just the right amount of sweetness. And the milk and ice was just right. Overall, not a bad drink. I would see myself coming back here again.
Haraz, Delah, or Sana'a; whichever name was given to a Yemeni café. Same Adeni chai, same great amount of pungent spices in different coffee blends, and same great desserts and savory treats. Yemeni cafés were slowly getting more popular after our local communities were opened to Arab hospitality. Haraz opened up at the Kearny corner location as its second location. It's the only Yemeni café that sells both coffee bean and ground Adeni chai bags. It even has different types of iced matcha drinks pictured next to the menu drink options. Matcha infused with Red Bull? Not a terrible choice since it kept a dark green color compared to ones that's infused with milk. Reminds me of Yuki Tsunoda, who happens to show off his racecar driving skills this afternoon at the Marina District, with some noisy speed and screeching yet burning tires. Seashell Baklava, small and just one piece in a takeout box; maybe I should order three. That's what life is when I choose what throws at me. Might be back for a different option.
So happy there's another location here, as I've enjoyed their Franklin St location! There's less seating here, but the interior is still light and airy. I enjoyed my iced Adeni Chai and a Rose cake. My friend liked his regular hot latte (Europeans, am I right?) and a slice of Biscoff cheesecake. I love the spices in their drinks. Definitely unique and not like your typical (American?) latte. They have a few outlets. I love their variety of drinks and baked goods. Service was fine and efficient.

I was definitely overwhelmed by their cheesecake selection. And I thought they had a great selection for coffee. I went with the pistachio latte since that was the most advertised, and I took like one sip and I knew that I would be wired for the rest of the day. I ended up going with the Dubai chocolate cheesecake since that was the most popular and I thought it was okay. It was a solid cheesecake. I would go back and get the Biscoff next time. Will definitely be coming back. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it every now and then.
Stopped by Haraz after seeing an A-frame sign outside on the sidewalk advertising their new matcha cloud drinks. Although the cloud drinks drew me in, I opted for a pistachio latte with coconut milk instead after learning that the cloud drinks came with heavy cream in the foam, as I didn't have any lactaid with me. The pistachio latte was nice and creamy, and all the flavors blended well together.

It was very milky, with a mild matcha flavor. Interestingly, my other friend--who usually isn't a big matcha fan--enjoyed it, so this could be a great option for anyone who prefers a lighter, more mild matcha. Because of how convenient the location is, I'd probably come back, but I'd try their coffee instead next time.
Saw they serve a variety of matcha latte flavors so I thought I would stop by to try! I've always driven past their other location but this one is more convenient/walkable near offices in FiDi. I got the strawberry matcha latte, which was a bit different than pictured (not as fresh as they just use syrup). The first sip was a bit grainy but mixed in it was fine but the syrup was overpowering so you couldn't really taste the matcha and it is pretty sweet so for the drink probably a 3/5 for me. It's also quite pricey at $9.. Curious how the other matcha latte flavors are. Overall, it's a cute cafe with lots of cool pastries and other drink options so despite their matcha not being too great, think it's still a nice add to Kearny St and I appreciate the unique menu options/offerings. Maybe their coffee or tea drinks are better!
First off, I really enjoyed Haraz's aesthetic and seating arrangement. They squeezed in quite a lot of seating with a relatively small footprint which makes it easy to find a convenient place to sit. The menu is extensive to say the least, having probably close to 3 dozen types of coffee drinks. If coffee's not for you, then they do have several tea options as well! I was personally a bit overwhelmed so I reverted to my default settings in having a large cold brew ($6). Even the cold brew sets Haraz apart as it's made with cardamom which added an entirely new dimension to the flavor profile. Service was polite and attentive. My only gripe, if you can call it that, was they saw I was sitting right in front of the register (no line) and they put my drink at the very end of the bar where normal pickup is. Maybe they were trying to help me get my steps in ;). Overall, great coffee shop with plenty of food and drink options. read more
Butter croissant: 9/10 -- classic croissant, not many notes from me here. the butter was buttering it was a just a little too flakey at the too so minus one bc it was a mess to eat. Pistachio Croissant: 8/10 -- very rich! difficult to eat bc the pistachio cream was so ooey gooey. i probably wouldn't get this again just because it was on the sweeter side and i personally prefer a nuttier pistachio cream but it was delicious nonetheless! Pistachio Latte: 10/10 -- my favorite latte to get when I go to a cafe and this one was absolutely delicious! it was rich and creamy and had a really bold coffee flavor that was not outshined by the pistachio. I got it iced but would love to try it hot too. Iced Hibiscus Refresher: 8/10 -- refreshing indeed! loved the floral notes. We stopped by this place on a Saturday morning after seeing on Yelp that they offered some matcha drinks. We decided to try a few, including the Coconut Cloud Matcha. It wasn't our favorite--definitely needed a good mix before drinking--but it was okay overall. read more

I bought a pistachio Turkish delight $5 and a small Harazi Mufawar $5.50. It's nice of them to allow me to use my own mug to be environmentally friendly. There's no reusable mug discount but they gave me a good amount for the small size. I tried Harazi Mafuwar which is highlighted- coffee with cardamom and cream for the first time. Since their cafe is named Haraz, I thought I'll be adventurous but I didn't really like the taste. I guess I'm not fond of cardamom and it was a lot of stuff leftover at the end like cardamom pieces or something. I enjoyed the pistachio Turkish delight even though $5 for a big piece of candy is expensive. It does look a very interesting cafe and I would return to try other drinks/dessert next time. It's not crowded either and a lot of space to sit. read more
I believe this spot just opened recently, they're under construction but its very bright and modern inside. The lady who took my order wasn't as bubbly as I'd wish, but she got the job done. I came for the pistachio latte and it was one of the better ones I've had. I will be back. read more

Another Middle East coffee and dessert place in San Francisco. Most of them are on Market and Soma so I'm happy FiDi gets one to enjoy too. Prices at Haraz are reasonable, with the coffee starting around $3.25 for a small cup. The flavored drinks here are crafted well, especially the pistachio latte and saffron latte (which you are able to order iced if you like). The coffee is strong but you have the chance to adjust shots to your liking. My saffron latte had a beautiful blend of saffron, orange, and spices. Desserts offered include baklava, Turkish delights, kunefe, and cheesecakes. Baristas are friendly. Hope this place stays for the longterm! read more

The toasted pastrami eggplant sandwich was so good!!! I paired it with an iced pistachio latte. The baristas are also very friendly and patient. Solid cafe to get some work done with their free wifi, outlets, and late hours. read more

The food was amazing I absolutely loved the Dubai cheesecake. Sometimes at Yemeni coffee shops the cheesecakes can taste refrigerated and old. This one was very fresh and cold, tasted perfectly sweet with a crunchy crust. The turkey croissant toasted which allowed Brie cheese to melt a bit making it a nice light brunch. The iced caramel macchiato also tasted really good. I was excited to try the mango dessert and it did not disappoint. The filling was mango mousse with real mangoes inside. read more

Haraz coffe house is one of the best coffee spots in the financial district in my opinion. The atmosphere was warm modern,and inviting making me feel like it's the perfect place to meet with business clients or friends or just to buckle down and get some work done. I have never tasted yemeni coffee , It's quite different from traditional cafe coffee. I watched as my drink was crafted with the utmost care. And the unique ingredients were added, and it really stood out.I didn't try the pastries or desserts. Because I am on a diet, but they look delicious and fresh. What made the experience even better was the outstanding customer service by the staff. A young man and 2 ladies were knowledge and genuinely passionate about what they served was refreshing.And its so heartwarming to find a place that delivers both special quality and genuine hospitality.. If you ever in downtown San Francisco on Kearney , by Bush , Harazcoffee is absolutely worth a visit i would definitely visit again with more people. read more
