Great variety of snowcones and definitely better than Bahama Bucks by a long shot. Friendly but slow service.

I was introduced to boba in college...but after leaving Virginia, it was almost impossible to find…read moreunless you visited larger metro areas-like DFW, Houston, and weirdly-Albuquerque had one in their mall. But Lubbock? Not a chance. So, I was absolutely delighted when when Teapioca opened, not only in Lubbock, but by my house! I love having access to boba tea, with the small town feel Lubbock is known for. The owners are almost always on-site and obviously care about product and service. Today, I asked for boba and a half-meaning what normally comes in the drink, plus about half a scoop more, vs. a whole. The employee had to think about it-but was determined to accommodate, even after I said if it was too hard, not to worry. Then, the owner happened to pass and mentioned that Crumbl had just brought them free cookies and she wanted to pay it forward, so she called it the "manager's special" and deducted it. There's nothing better than a business that really cares! That's why I'm a loyal customer. Thank you, Teapioca! LBK loves you!

It made me really uncomfortable. We were out the door by 9:00, so it's not like we were holding them up. If you're going to take orders that close to closing, there's no reason to treat customers like that. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional.

I'll be honest--I wasn't expecting much, but PHO District 1 completely exceeded expectations. In…read morewhat feels like a classic college town, this spot delivers seriously good Vietnamese food with bold, comforting flavors that hold their own anywhere. The pho was rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying--exactly what you want on a cold day or after a long one. What really stood out was how accommodating they were with customization. Every request was met with ease, and the end result was a bowl that felt thoughtfully made, not rushed or generic. Service was friendly, the place was packed (always a good sign), and the food spoke for itself. If you're craving legit pho and flavorful Vietnamese comfort food, this spot is absolutely worth the stop--and honestly, it's a standout for the area.

Had to have been the longest time for making the drinks. We were there for probably a hot 10-15 min. They were busy with take away orders so maybe that's why it took so long. Who knows. The restaurant almost seemed to be overfilling. The area next to the register was filled with boxes and things. Didn't really see the seating area but they were busy.
