My girlfriend Claire and I are from LA, so there's so many boba shops there. But Claire is even more impressed with the Teapioca here than with even most places we love in SoCal or in bigger cities (Yifang, Sunbright, 85 etc). Quality control is excellent, when she visited town we went every day for 4 days in a row. We were surprised to see who we assume are the owners working hard behind the scenes gently guiding their employees to make the drinks in the best possible way. (The sign indicates this is a permanent issue, not just closed for cleaning.) Some of the seating areas were stained. There was a public refrigerator that was being used for employee/business supplies instead of products for the customers to purchase. The 1102 sign had a bunny on it, which I think is why there were Easter egg decorations everywhere. However, it felt like they hung up Easter decorations and hadn't taken the time to take them down yet. (I visited in July.)
