Excellent communication and prompt service! The crew worked tirelessly all day long on our yard which needed a lot of TLC. It looked nothing short of outstanding when they left. Thanks to Paul, Freddie and the rest of the crew for all your hard work! read more

After getting multiple quotes we went with happy tree landscaping. They were awesome. Very professional and Paul was there with any issue or question we had. They did a big job in a timely manner and made this process very easy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering any landscaping job. Thanks paul. Keep up the good work. We love our yards. read more

Absolutely cannot recommend these folks enough. We got three bids when we started planning to have our back yard done. They technically weren't the cheapest, but we know we picked the best company and we can definitely see the value for the money. Mauricio was fantastic. He was the only one who followed up with us after providing a quote. On top of that, he's very friendly, knowledgeable and patient (being first time homeowners, we had a ton of questions). His crew was always friendly and they did great work. If you need a landscaping job done, skip the other guys and go straight to Happy Tree. read more

I had a need to get a very large number of trees trimmed very quickly on a property that was almost an acre large. Not only did they respond quickly to setup the appointment, they came by the next day to do a very professional and complete walk through of what we needed, and the team was out within days to do the job. A massive amount of work done quickly, cleanly and leaving my yard looking awesome! read more

Responsive and showed up as they said. Our yard looked great and I really felt they went above and beyond in making our yard look great as if it was their own! Will use again! read more

We hired Happy Tree to install our hardscape and they did beyond our expectations. They went to great lengths to make sure we knew what was happening every step of the way and treated us as if we were their only job. The best part, the installation is really low maintenance, needing nothing but a little sweeping and occasional hosing down. Highly recommend! read more

Updated review: After Happy Tree missed our initial appointment, they reached out and offered to reschedule for a time that was convenient to us and offered a discount for the inconvenience. Paul was very friendly and professional regarding the whole matter. read more

Found Happy Tree on yelp They did an excellent job trimming up my 2 very tall Queen Palms and especially on my huge Ficus. Trimming the inside ang the crown. Scheduling was a breeze. The crew showed up early and were done in two hours. They cleaned everything up. Wouldn't even know they were there, but for better looking trees. Reinhard read more

They responded quickly. Set up the appointment and never showed up. I called to schedule again, and again they never showed up. I called to find out if I could get an estimated and was told someone would call me back shorty....that was over a week ago. read more

Timely service, very communicative, great pricing! Very grateful for Happy Tree helping me out with my weeds!

I was very pleased with the prompt and courteous response from Paul at Happy Tree Landscaping. They were thorough and hauled every thing away. I decided to have them do my backyard as well and was even happier with their work because I had short palms that really needed to be cut back. I now am hiring them to come back on regular basis and would highly recommend their services. read more

I had some palm trees that were in need of professional help. I got a quote really fast and was able to get on the schedule for the same week. The guys showed up, worked fast, cleaned up well and the trees look good. read more

We just finished a project with Happy Tree Landscaping. They were awesome. They did the job quickly and efficiently. They were very careful, matched our flagstone perfectly. Paul, the owner, was grear to work with and never hesitated to come back out to make sure we all had the same vision. I highly recommend this company! You won't be disappointed! read more

These guys were very prompt, and courteous. I was really pleased with the results, and would recommend them to anyone needing tree services because they made quick work of a HUGE 30yr old pine! read more

So it started out good. Got an estimate saved up to pay cash. I contacted Mauricio and advised ready to schedule but wanted some sample ideas for the project. He replied once and said would get paperwork over to me to review and sign.......................... and ................. and ............... that was about 2 weeks ago and no reply. I asked yelp for more companies to use and Paul reached out and asked if I needed a quote. I let him know Mauricio had already given me a quote and no follow-up.... then no reply from Paul. So thank you for leaving me hanging to go through this process all over again. Sorry but I don't have time to waste on contractors. read more

We had recently added an addition to our house and a pool to the back yard. During that process, the front and back yards were completely destroyed. We called several landscape companies to discuss ideas and project costs. Paul and his team at Happy Tree were the most professional, responsive and accommodating to work with. Paul was very patient with our questions as we worked through the design process and offered insightful and practical solutions to our requests. They were able to schedule the job quickly and completed both yards which included pavers, paver borders, a combination of natural and artificial turf, plants, irrigation and lights in a very timely manner. Paul's crew was very hardworking and professional and maintained a very clean job site. I would absolutely use Happy Tree again and give them my highest recommendation. read more

Happy Tree Landscaping provides attentive and personal customer service no matter how big or small the problem is during the construction process. We started our project in August of 2019 and installed artificial turf, pavers, small plants, and trees. Over time, several plants died due to the extreme conditions. As a result, I contacted Paul regarding the issue and Happy Tree quickly serviced our plants beyond the letter of the Happy Tree Landscape plant warranty. Moreover, this last winter we experienced considerably more precipitation than previous expectations. As a result, our artificial lawn settled, thus causing the lawn to be wavy and bumpy. Consequently, about eight months later, I contacted Paul regarding issues with the artificial turf. Fortunately, Paul and Happy Tree Landscaping took care of the artificial turf issue by leveling the entire lawn and removing the waves in the grass and bumps. read more

Paul and his crew were amazing! We had several facets to the job we needed done, including grading a driveway and reconstructing a flood-irrigation system. Paul is the unicorn of contractors: he was responsive, on time, and on budget. His crew did a great job, and left the job site spotless. Can't begin to thank him and his crew enough for a job well-done. read more

I had a 30 foot tree that needed significant dead branch removal. Paul and his crew were fantastic to deal with. Multiple tree services came out and then told me they couldn't do it. Or their estimates were 2-3 times higher than Happy Tree. Great business. Quick work. I will definitely call back when I need more tree work. Thanks! read more

Need a concrete pad for a 17.5 x 8 shed. They were ontime and did a good job. Would use again.

Paul and his team were very professional! They were prompt, efficient and did exactly what they promised. They even removed a large mesquite root system that had been left behind when the tree was cut down several years ago. Good job! Highly recommended! read more

Updated review from 2 stars: Things didn't go as smoothly initially as I'd hoped, but they really put everything into trying to make it better. I really appreciated that, and I will enjoy the replacement plant that they gifted me. read more

Our backyard needed a complete overhaul and Happy Tree delivered! We reached out requesting a quote and Paul came out the very next day. The quote was competitive and they were able to get us on the schedule the following weekend. We initially thought we needed to lay all new sod but Paul assured us that they could bring back our existing grass which allowed us to direct that money in other areas of our yard. Our existing patio (which was cracked and stained) is now larger and covered with beautiful pavers, we have a fire pit area and a rock border making our yard lower maintenance then it was before. We couldn't be happier and would absolutely utilize Happy Tree for any future landscaping needs. read more

Excellent service, fast, honest and on time. Very happy customer right here, would highly recommend this company. Paul was very knowledgable and professional. read more

Very fast and very responsive communication. Moved from out of state, our entire yard and palm was taken care of within two days from quote. Having Paul and his team come back for the rest of our landscaping needs because we were that impressed with the quality of work and friendliness. Thank you for the great service! read more

If you're looking for a great landscaping company, look no further. I received an immediate response from the owner Paul who came out to personally asses the work that needed to be done. And this was a BIG job. He had a crew out to my home just 2 days later to start clean up of my front and back yard. Everything was overgrown and covered in debris. I needed several trees trimmed and all new rock. Paul and his team gave me my beautiful yard back. Professional, courteous and attentive and so much more. When I asked for a few slight changes it was not a problem. Paul listened to what I wanted and made it happen no questions asked. This company cares about their customers which is very hard to find these days. A big thank you to Paul and his team for an amazing job!!! I would reccomend Happy Tree to anyone. read more

Paul gets credit for replying to quote requests quickly but little else. The pricing was reasonable until you realize he undercuts the crews he then hires to do the actual work. I doubt he pays them 50% of what you pay him. One crew showed up to do the yard cleanup (Aviles Landscaping, great workers, responsible). A different crew showed up to do the removal of the grass WHICH THEY THEN STUCK IN MY COMPOST along with plastic. Why would I pay them to cleanup something and pay the dump fees so they then leave trash in my house hidden in my compost? Very little communication happens once you agree to the job. One crew showed up and disappeared after lunch. Where did they go? No call. No message. I had to hunt Paul down to hear someone else would do the turf install. Once the turf was put in (great job Mario Galan) there was more trash everywhere which the second crew was supposed to cleanup. I called and requested they finish. Paul then said he would show up the next day and take care of it. He didn't show up, didn't call, didn't text. I spoke with him twice about being honest with clients, keeping them in the loop, setting expectations. Went in one ear, out the other. I'd recommend you hire a different company if you want a professional job done. You're not going to get it here. read more

We just moved in to our new home in Gilbert and were in need of landscaping in our yard. After doing some research online we reached out to Paul who quickly responded and came over and provided the most reasonable estimate we received. Even with a kink on our side, (had to get approval of the design from our HOA) he got the job done quickly as soon as the HOA approved our plan. Such an accommodating guy to work with! I'd highly recommend him and his team. read more

We had the BEST experience with this company! The owner and employees are professional and super friendly. Any questions or concerns I had were answered quickly. After our initial estimate, we hired them remove the gravel from our backyard. They showed up on time and did the work quickly and professionally. When I mentioned one small area of concern they were back a few days later to fix it, no questions asked. I was very impressed and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone that's looking for landscape help. Thank you so much! read more

Paul, was very easy to work with. As an out of town landlord he assisted me in a providing a thorough clean up and irrigation fix. He worked in my fairly urgent timeline and communication with Paul was easy and prompt! Very happy for the yelp reviews that helped guide me to Happy Tree Landscaping. read more

Happy Tree Landscaping was hired to remove and drill the roots of the oleander trees. we paid a HIGH price for this service to be done. When the first crew showed up and "removed" the trees, a second crew showed up to trim and paint the citrus tree trunks, (at our request) when the second crew showed up, they brought a minor to the work site, and allowed this minor to "free roam" our back yard at will, while i watched every move from inside house, the back gate was left open and this crew never announced themselves at the front door. they walked into back yard like they owned it, and was CAUGHT at corner of house! NEVER a good idea to enter my yard unannounced!!!!!! three months down the road, the oleanders are growing back, so Happy Tree was called.. we were ignored, we called again, ignored, allowed a month to go by as these trees we PAID for was supposed to be gone and NEVER grow back, are NOW growing back, finally got Paul to respond, promised to show up and NEVER did. then made the excuse that "they will grow back, nothing we can do" UMMM we PAID YOU to REMOVE THEM and DRILL the roots! we never got what we paid for, and got snubbed when things went wrong..will NEVER use again EVER. NOW we as home owners are doing the work THEY were paid to do ourselves. taking us a lot longer, but our job is BETTER than theirs was. read more

Very happy with their service!! I had 8 trees that needed to be pruned cut back they did an excellent job.. cleaned up and now my trees are happy. Highly recommend them! read more

Such an unfortunate experience. I requested a quote via yelp and Paul got back to me right away(Thursday). We set an appointment for Saturday 10am. A gentleman showed and identified himself as Maurice. We walked the property, exchanged ideas, discussed price(after measurements and noted were taken), projected start date and time line. Maurice was to get back to me on Saturday with the proposal, and we were to start work in Monday. Saturday afternoon came and went. Sunday too. On Monday mid day i called Maurice. His voicemail indicated that he sells homes...what?!? Ok...no biggie, everyone has a side hustle. I reached out to Paul via yelp. I received an immediate response from Maurice. Maurice sent a quote that was 15% higher than what was discussed...ok, we can roll with it. I started to review the quote and noted that some of the details were unclear and some of the items double what i had been quoted by other contractors. I asked for clarification on the items and to confirm the work being completed. The quote was resent at 25% over what was discussed on Saturday. At this point i am emailing paul, and Maurice is responding vis text. I asked Paul is he was also Maurice. He stated that Maurice was his twin brother. It was just too coincidental IMO. Anyway...when pressed, the response was that the 25% increase was due to taxes and a result of ball park quoting while on site. I am sure there will be a well written response to this. Just know...there are other reviews similar to this. You have been warned. read more

Excellent, I can not say enough good things about my experience with Happy Tree Landscaping. I highly recommend them and will be sure to share my experience with all of my friends, family, and co-workers. From the very start Happy Tree was courteous and friendly, returning my call immediately and setting up my quote promptly. Even though my job was a small one requiring tree trimming for two small trees and two bushes in our front yard, they treated it with care and professionalism. The landscaping team showed up a few days later and the rate was $50 less than the competitor. The team was courteous and professional and the results look great!!! Our trees look so much better and they did a great job cleaning up the gravel yard under the trees and bushes they worked on, I really did not expect that and it exceeded my expectations with great service. Two of the other competitors that I called seemed uninterested in getting my business because I had a small job and they had lots of excuses, gave me a high "get lost" price, and couldn't schedule me for at least a month. Not at Happy Tree, they were great and treated my small job with the same care and respect as their big jobs. If you need a landscaping service who treats you with respect and provides great service this is definitely one to call. When its time for the bigger job of redoing my back yard, Happy tree will be my first call. Thanks Happy Tree team for a great customer experience and good work at my home. read more
