I like Happy Lemon a lot! In addition to all of the standard milk tea and fruit tea offerings, the whole blended lemon options are something special. The fresh lemon honey green tea is tart yet sweet with a smooth mouthfeel. This would be a solid option if feeling under the weather too. One cool feature in store is the screen displaying all the orders in the works and how much time has elapsed since ordering. There's also games available and it seems like a mellow hang out spot. All the workers I've encountered have been very welcoming and patient with questions. Overall, a great boba destination! read more

Happy Lemon - Bubble waffle - Bubble Tea Near Me - Austin, Texas

I've had it once in Seattle before and enjoyed their bubble tea, so was very HAPPY to see Happy Lemon come to Austin. This location doesn't disappoint, I got a Passion Fruit Mango Green Tea with bubbles and it was refreshing for summer. Didn't order the bubble fish at this location, so will need to return to try. read more

I tried the passionfruit lychee tea. This was a delightful, refreshing drink! The slightly tartness of the passionfruit was balanced nicely with the lychee! We got our drinks in a few minutes. Very clean inside! read more

Packed here on a Sunday afternoon, usually I love this chain. Usually. But with the proliferation of boba places in Austin, gotta be consistent to get me to come back and my first time here, my drink was off. I ordered the jasmine green milk tea and while the boba was perfectly sweet and chewy with a perfect hint of sweetness (honestly some of the best), the drink itself left my to be desired. I ordered 50% sweet and I could tell it was super over brewed today - bitter, next to no floral notes that I'm used to from jasmine tea and on the watery side. Sigh. Added some sugar when I got home and that made it better but still regret paying for it when even after the fix it was just ok. read more

Just realized that i didn't take any pictures. Oops! The grand opening was a great event. The line looks long from the outside but it passed by very smoothly. They had waffle samples and they were deeeelish! We had to order one! We ordered 4 drinks with the bogo: matcha mango, ube cream, and 2 oreo milk tea! We also ordered the waffle with cream and salted cheese. All were created to perfection and were very yummy. The inside was super cute! We wanted to take a picture with the wall but it was super crowded. Till next time read more

Happy Lemon - Kumquat green tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Austin, Texas

Y'all I'm not playing, this is the BEST boba place in Austin! I've gotten most things on the menu and every single thing has been so good. I usually get S1- fresh passionfruit mango green tea , E10- kumquat green tea w lychee jelly, D5- boba milk tea w puff cream, or G5- strawberry green tea. I've probably been here 50 times this year and the flavor of every drink has been on point. Customer service is also really nice and the employees are knowledgeable of the menu. Everything they've recommended has been yummy. It is super clean inside and they have board games and jenga. Their waffles with puff cream are also super delicious. This place hits the spot every time!! read more

This is my new favorite boba tea shop. The flavors are great! The space is also fun and vibrant and parking is easy (surface lot outside). I'll be back! read more

The recent trend with boba shops in Austin is to offer BOGO during their grand opening. So I waited until after the grand opening to avoid the crowds and see what a normal day would be like. This shop definitely feels bigger than the other location in North Austin. There is plenty of seating and if you come mid-day on a late spring day, it'll be pretty empty. I really hope this changes since it's really close to the ACC Highland campus. The shop faces the I-35 access road and is near the first driveway into the Linc shopping center when heading south. Be careful pulling into this driveway as there is an intersection immediately and lots of blind spots typical of Austin shopping centers. Linc doesn't have much retail and is mostly food places and service places so there's not much foot traffic. Just park right in front of the shop and since it's a little further away from Easy Tiger there's lots of parking. Happy Lemon seems to be part of a post-pandemic wave of franchised Boba shops opening in the Austin region. I find their boba to be on the sweet side and you will need to go 50% or less on the sugar. 50% is still sweet. As for the pearls, they are all right. They don't stick together and they are more on the softer side. They don't seem to overly sweeten the pearls or add honey to the pearls. I got the Ube smoothie and I liked how creamy the smoothie was. Definitely had a nice ube flavor (think a mild version of sweet potato in taste). I didn't pay much attention to how they assembled the drink - but my guess is it's probably ube paste and ube powder - so not the real stuff not even the frozen ones- you might have to make a trip to the provinces of the Philippines if you want that during Christmas time. Price-wise the price is over $6 but it's large. You can probably share this if you are not that thirsty or hungry. Since i skipped lunch; the ube smoothie was perfect enough to last the afternoon before a late dinner. They also have bubble waffles that are made to order. The also have a bunch of salted foam cheese drinks. They are not the first to have these drinks in Austin but they have quite a selection of these drinks as well. and of course lemon-based fruit drinks. I have yet to try any of their tea-based drinks as well. read more

Yummy! Happy Lemon is one of my favorite boba place. I'm so glad they opened one more here in Austin. We went on the soft opening for buy 1 get 1 free. While it was super busy, the staff was very helpful and smiley, drinks taste on point, making the experience very comfortable. I love anything with lemon and the cream, it's like their secret ingredient, can't find elsewhere. read more

First of all when you walk into the shop, it smells like cake batter. It's absolutely divine and I highly recommend you buy a waffle, you can't go wrong, just do it! This is my first time here. I saw it as I passed Easy Tiger and decided to download the app and place an order for pick up. You do have to physically go into the store to pick up your order, but that allowed me to hang out in my car for a little bit and chat on the phone. Also there's plenty parking because you know we love a good plaza shop! I ordered both of my drinks at 25% sugar and thought that they were perfectly sweetened so I am nervous of what 100% sugar would be in these drinks but I love that it's an option to control how much sugar. After reading other reviews, I agree, I would like a dairy free and gluten-free option, but the waffle was one of my favorites. I got the Matcha waffle, and to be honest I can't really tell that it's flavored but what I love is the crunchy texture on the outside and the chewy center. I ordered two seasonal drinks. The first was a fresh apple lemon green tea. The second was a strawberry Matcha latte. The apple lemon green tea. Almost taste like it had a hint of jasmine tea and there was floral undertones and it was really lovely and refreshing. The strawberry Matcha was divine. I prefer to be dairy free and I thought if they offered this with coconut milk instead of regular milk, this would've been something I come back for time and time again maybe sometime in the future they'll have options like that. I want to preface, historically I'm not into Boba tea but the website goes into great detail about the authenticity and history behind this shop and why it's so unique. There's only one shop in Austin so if you're local you should check it out it's definitely a fun place and I imagine it's just as fun for kids. read more

This is the second location of Happy Lemon in Austin but with a different franchise owner. I ordered the winter melon lemonade with boba. I liked it because it wasn't too sweet. It was less sweet than Share Tea, which was a good thing. The boba was a little smaller than what I'm accustomed to. There weren't a whole lot of real fruit (not powder), caffeine, dairy, and gluten-free choices. read more

I have been to many Happy Lemon locations but this store is the best one I have visited so far. If you want a spacious place to hang out with friends which has a wide selection of drinks then this is the place to be. Furthermore, the staff offered me amazing customer service. First time dropping in. This business is fairly new to this area and my wife and I were feeling something sweet. We loved the look of the place--very clean, modern-feel and a good amount of indoor seating. The employee who greeted us was very nice and patient as we were looking at their menu options. I decided to order the "Boba Milk Tea with Puff Cream" and my wife ordered the "Ube Smoothie with Boba." In addition to the drinks we also ordered an "Original Waffle" with "Puff Cream" dipping sauce. The waffle and dipping sauce was so DELICIOUS. The waffle came out soft and hot and the dipping sauce only elevated the waffle's overall taste. Definitely recommend the Puff Cream Dipping Sauce if you order a waffle. The drinks were creamy and delicious, each with their individual flavors. All of the items were a good size for the cost. We have a new dessert option in the city now, can't wait to come back and try more!! read more

Came during the weekdays. Did not have to wait long and ordered drink quickly. You're able to adjust sweetness and ice level. Compared to some other location of happy lemon, this place was very spacious. Many tables and seats to occupy. We even saw two people have their laptops out working. Since it's located in a plaza, parking was not an issue. Will definitely come again read more

Happy Lemon - Mango lemon slushy and Ube smoothie - Bubble Tea Near Me - Austin, Texas

The classic milk tea at happy lemon is perfect combination of a strong black tea and sweet milk tea flavor. I added fresh taro which was light and added a subtle taro creaminess to the milk tea. My partner got the passionfruit jasmine tea which was super sweet and sour. I also really liked the texture of the boba. This menu isn't as expansive as the other happy lemon but I hope to see them add more in the future. Service was very friendly as well! read more

Happy Lemon - Okinawa milk tea with boba and a cute mascot! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Austin, Texas

Nice to see Happy Lemon adding locations in Austin! My favorite place for fresh, yummy drinks! If you know HL, it's all about the salted cheese, so any drink with that is delicious, and no need to add another topping to it! But if you're in the mood for boba, the fresh teas, smoothies, or slushies are great with it! My go to's are any of the salted cheese series (as-is), the milk tea series, and of course having a bubble waffle. The place has plenty of parking, and is spacious inside, which is great compared to others I've been to in Texas. read more

Always good people, good drinks, good waffles. Trivia night is always fun. Strawberry shortcake is tasty, passion fruit green tea is good with no sugar. read more

THE BEST! I had ordered from HL on DoorDash and loved it and finally got the chance to come in. It is a sweet little spot that is pretty quiet and has games you can play while you're there, free WiFi, etc....but the BEST part is the bubble waffles...or bubble tea...or bubble waffles...they are both so good. I have now tried all of the waffles and really love the chocolate waffle with salted cheese. I was a little wary about the salted cheese...until I tried it! It is unlike anything else and is ridiculously delicious. I have gotten fruit tea (they blend the entire lemon, so refreshing) but I am pretty committed to the Vietnamese coffee with puff cream, it's UNBELIEVABLE. Lastly, the staff is awesome. Every experience I've had has been great. They have great recommendations and are knowledgeable about all the choices. Try it, you are going to LOVE it!! read more

Went in during their grand opening event. Even though it was busy, they were efficient getting orders out pretty swiftly! Store area and bathroom was clean, drinks were tasty. Got the regular milk tea with boba, passion fruit mango tea with mango boba, and a bubble waffle with puff cream! Delicious! My friend got a drink with the salted cheese which is like a lightly salted cream cheese like flavor. Highly recommend swinging by. read more

Came here sinces it has been super hot and a cold drink sounds very nice. Finding parking here was not an issue. The place was very clean and spacious. There was no line or wait when we arrived. Had ordered the strawberry shortcake smoothie and mango lemon slushie. But we're delicious. They monitors on the far left tells you what drink orders are being made which is nice. There were many tables and seating area at this location. Most locations I been to do not usually have this much space. There is even a game corner which is great for spending time with group of friends to hang out. If you ever come here for the first time and do not know what to order, you cannot really go wrong. The menu even shows what they recommend. The staffs are nice and answer questions if you ever have any. Delicious and amazing on these hot summer days read more

Great customer service and their drinks were really good. Can't go wrong with the boba milk tea.

These waffle egg cake things they make are so good - they stole the show. The bubble tea options are pretty good but annoyingly they only have one large size cup. It's a cute space with some board games to while the time away while you sip and nibble. read more

If you're looking for a solid boba spot in Austin, look no further! I am a regular at this location, largely due to the convenience of the order-ahead feature on the Happy Lemon app. Then, the added benefit of there being plenty of parking in the lot. The customer service has always been friendly and on point. Also, it smells like heaven when you walk in and they've just made a waffle to order. I've tried several drinks, but my go-to is the strawberry green tea with crystal boba, half sweet! read more

A+ Boba. Friendly staff and great tasting drinks. I ordered a boba milk tea with puff cream and it was the bomb.

The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations given how complex the menu was with variations of flavors and combinations. It's not the best and isn't the worst either. They have a lot of unique combinations of flavors, so I'd say check it out! read more

If you're near this location, you should just go to Chicha San Chen for the price. Unless the parmer one raised prices too, this linc one is 10% more expensive generally. Sure maybe rent is more here, but to me the quality is not worth it when there are now better options basically down the street. read more

It smells so good in there. This spot just opened and has a cute atmosphere and there are games available to play! We ordered an ube milk tea and a mango matcha drink and both were delicious! The ube milk tea had a mild flavor that wasn't too sweet but incredibly satisfying. The mango matcha was refreshing and smooth. The tapioca wasn't as good as it usually is but I would still recommend stopping by their new location. read more

I love this place; couldn't ask for anything better. The environment is light and spacious, with good vibes. We are very excited that a Happy Lemon has opened near Ranch 99 where we do our weekly grocery shopping. It's really the perfect spot to go satisfy your sweet tooth after a nice meal. The salted cheese is one of the yummiest and delicious things on this earth. If you like drinks and desserts that are "YUM" but not overly sweet, then you are going to love Happy Lemon. We also recommend the tasty waffles. We will be back to satisfy our salted cheese cravings. :P read more

Really good, if you LOVE lemons. I ordered the blended lemon honey black tea with 25% sugar and it still tasted really sweet, like 50%. I would say blended might not be for everyone, as you can definitely taste the bitter rind. Didn't try anything else unfortunately, I want to come back with friends and try more! The girl who helped me was kind and explained more about the menu. This spot is nice if you want to come to study or chill, but not very aesthetically pleasing inside (to me). Can't tell if it's always really slow or I just came when nobody else was here, but I like how chill it is! read more
