Bruised Chicken Wings
Tiffany S.

Absolutely the WORST! The chicken wings were bruised and could not be eaten and the chicken egg foo young picture speaks for itself( burnt and inedible)! The fact that it was served to anyone is beyond repulsive! To make matters worse when it was taken back to the store the service was awful! They acted as if they didn't see a problem with how the food looked and smelled! Would NEVER eat from here again! BEWARE!

Hot and sour soup Wonton Soup Pork Szechuan Happy Family Shrimp Lo Mein 103. Meat Dumplings

Cannot ask for more! The food was very fresh; this place is busy, even on a Wednesday and we had a small wait time as our order finished, so it was fresh and hot! We ordered Lo main - it came saucy - perfect! Also, Szechuan pork, dumplings, and made our sides of rice, fried. Can't go wrong.

Crab rangoon, combination lo míen, plain fried rice n general tso's chicken
Tee B.

Ordered combination lo mien, crab Rangoon, general tso's chicken with plain fried , regular egg roll and 2 steak n cheese egg rolls. Had to call them because all the egg rolls were regular pork. They sent me the two steak n cheese ones. The egg rolls were tasty, crab Rangoon good as well. The plain fried rice tasted like yesterdays rice and the general tso's was more of a ketchup flavor for some reason. My combination lo míen was pretty good. Not an awful experience completely but I will try other places first.

Shrimp fried rice and wings at the side

Today is my first time buying your shrimp fried rice with wings . Unfortunately the rice was not all well cooked. I was very hungry had no option so had to force myself to eat a bit. It was spicy as expected though.

Lemon Chicken

First time ordering delivery from HE. Hot n Sour Soup was good. Lemon chicken was plentiful snd tasty. Fried rice tasted old and General Tso's Chicken had a weird taste. Spring roll was mushy. Disappointing Friday night dinner. Won't repeat.

Chicken Wings

Have you seen wings like this?? Ever? Not only are they big and crispy but the flavor is spot on!

The food is good, and they give you a good amount for the price. I started to go there more often.

Nash and Smashed

I ordered food from this place the last two nights, and I am already looking forward to my third…read morevisit! As the title indicates, they specialize in Nashville-style hot chicken and smashed burgers. My first night, I ordered a signature Nashville hot chicken sandwich combo (comes with waffle fries and a fountain drink). The sandwich was crunchy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spiciness. Their signature sauce is similar to Cane's, so you know I had to dip my sandwich in that! I also added on a side of mac and cheese, which was good, but the coco-pineapple shake was the real star of the show! It had real bits of coconut in it, which is a plus in my book. For my second night, I dined in (got carryout my first night). The location is clean and well-lit. The employees offer prompt service, and when my food was up, they carried it to my table--which is a nice touch for a fast-casual place. This time, I ordered the chicken thigh sandwich combo, and was just as pleased as my first night. I added on a side of coleslaw (rather ordinary), but again, the shake was the star of the show. I got a cookies and cream shake, and it was delicious! I **will** be coming back!

So we always order from here since they are nearby but they totally disappointed us today…read more Clearly in this picture it just mentions the dates when the promotion is valid and NOT the time. However, I just called at 11:10 and they said their system is off so we can do regular price but not promotion. We cannot give you promotion price!!! They close at midnight and we were going to do pickup! I didn't order then. Very, very disappointed!

Mirna Restaurant - French toast with fresh fruit

Mirna Restaurant

Mirna Restaurant [MR]. (3.25 stars)…read more Pardon the Alice in Wonderland meets Rocky Horror Show confusion of thoughts that follows... :) Italian & Greek. Sure they have a "Mediterranean" theme. Mexican & Salvadorian. Sure geographically it makes sense. Italian & Mexican. Wait what?! I literally screamed!! Let me explain... I grew up for my formidable years in Worcester MA. My family (parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles except one, aka entire family) were still in HI but I got shipped off because it was supposed to be a boot camp for me so to speak. What a laugh... My uncle couldn't cook to save any of our lives. I am Asian by descent but definitely not a decent Asian. ;) I never knew what Asian food was until well into my high school years (and was forced to move back to HI). I ate at every neighbors house for almost every meal & wouldn't have changed my culinary journeys for the world!! I grew up on a block with 20+ Italian American families, 4 Mexican American families, and 1 (mine) token Asian family. In the 80s Worcester was definitely a version of Little Italy!! But there were some Mexican influences that we as kids got to enjoy. So when I saw MR, I immediately reverted back to my childhood days & had to stop by to check them out. I haven't found many Italian/Mexican restaurants in my travels... There isn't much info on FB, IG, or Yelp. The first thing I noticed as I entered MR is that English was definitely NOT the language spoken by both patrons & the server/bartender. I don't mean any offense by that. Just an observation. :) I will fully admit I'm not an expert as far as Authentic Mexican food is concerned. But as I grow older, supposedly wiser, & definitely more anti-social... I've learned that authenticity, while appreciated & celebrated is not what I look for at the end of my meal. I look for 1) TASTE. 2) TEXTURE. 3) PRESENTATION. That's what makes me satisfied & happy when it comes to any meal (in that order). Italian is & always will be my favorite but Korean & Mexican are a tie for second! (Wasn't always that way)!! Asian food wasn't even on my "list" until my early 30s?! However, I adore Korean Tacos and Kimchi with my pasta so hence my comment about taste vs authenticity. Anywho... I ordered the two items that were recommended by my server. Steak Burrito. (3.5 stars). The steak is cubed but a little tough to chew. However, the burrito is a very generous portion & cheesy. I did find it interesting that the filling also has romaine lettuce & avocados (which is nowhere on the menu description). First time I've had that combo but texturally it worked... crunchy, creamy, chewy...? I do wish the plate was kept under the salamander for another minute to get the cheese melted completely & slightly crispy on the edges... but still a hearty dish. Lengua Tacos. (3 stars). I grew up with a Yucatán influenced version of Mexican food. All of our Mexican American neighbors emigrated from the Yucatán which relies heavily on RED ONIONS. This is why I probably still adore red onions (or any Onions) BUT still cannot stomach white/round/yellow onions!... NOPE. Yuck. I ordered the Lengua tacos & asked that the cilantro & onions be put on the side because I was told that MR uses white onions. Great I thought! Won't have to pilfer through the disgusting white onions!! Ummm... GONG!!! WRONG. The lengua is already cooked together with white onions so just be aware of that when you order it. Asking for the onions on the side was pointless for me. The lengua was tender & had a nice chew. Tortillas were fresh & greatly appreciated. Even though I wasn't absolutely blown away by my first visit. I'll definitely come back to try some other dishes at MR. Perhaps I may try their Italian dishes... Doubtful but the Mexican dishes definitely have some redeeming qualities that have piqued my interest... for at least another round!! Parking is available in a shared lot. I do wish MR well.
