    Kale Salad

Happea's made me happea! (I had to) Been wanting to try this place for a while but never got the chance. Today, I was walking to meet some friends and I passed by it and I was determined to try it. I got the kale salad and added tomato and grilled chicken. So delicious and fresh. The chicken was well cooked and the kale had the right amount of crispness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was wonderful and the decor is cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the summery colors. Will for sure be back to try other things on the menu

Happea's is a healthy fast food option in Brickell located on S Miami Ave near Tap and The Vue. This location offers many quick food options that are both healthy and tasty! The counter is self service which allows for a seamless order! They offer pita pockets and bowls ranging from vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. The service is always great and the food is made quickly! The bowls are compostable and they have a water station to help yourself! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's ample seating both inside and outside and gives a laid back feel, but I suggest coming early to beat the lunch traffic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chicken bowl, pita, and oven roasted egg plant side

I was heading to another local Miami restaurant but passed Happea's and thought this would hit the spot-and it did. I wanted compare it Cava but that just CAN'T compare. I took a chance and tried the oven roasted eggplant tahini side bowl. It had a creamy savory flavor. Additionally the pita--omg-- the PITA, it was like biting into a warm fluffy cloud! Definitely get the pita! Additionally my chicken bowl tasted amazing and so fresh. The hummus that came with it paired amazingly and had a perfectly creamy texture. The sweet potatoes also added a nice touch of soft creamy sweetness to the dish. Side note: NO PLASTIC dining utensils or plates were served. This was refreshing if you are mindful of avoiding plastic with the growing research coming out about microplastics. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bowls and cups were so aesthetic all metal (?) gold and silver.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely give Happea's a try if you want some fresh health conscious delicious tasting Mediterranean.

I love how the food is always so fresh here, even the hummus is made to order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I dine here solo a couple times a week, perfect little quiet spot to get a little work done and feel like I've done something good for my body.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nowhere else are you attended to so well, they ask you as soon as you walk in if you've been there before and offer assistance with the point of sale. I always feel appreciated here as a customer as well.

So I have been seeing Happea's all over IG, and finally got a chance to try it at an workout I went to at Studio Three. One bite of the Sabich - which is a lemon cabbage salad, roasted eggplant, and a medium boiled egg and I was already hooked. Fast forward to one week later, and I had to order Happea's again. I opted for the Chicken Power Bowl which comes with roasted mushrooms caramelized onions, roasted sweet potato, pickled red cabbage and pita. THe base is quinoa, but as I was obsessed with Sabich I subbed it for the quinoa. It also comes with grilled chicken and hummus. The hummus can be subbed, but as it says on the order it would be a BIG MISTAKE. The hummus is probably one of the best I've had in a while, and with all those veggies and pita it is absolutely divine. There is no lack of bowl / sandwich options in Miami, but one thing that stood out to me about Happea's is how delicious, authentic and homemade everything tasted. You can tell the folks here take pride in their food - it's colorful, filled with flavor, and most importantly a great value for the portion size. I cannot wait to eat my way through this menu. Will be hard for me to not order the Sabich, but there are so many mezze's, pockets, bowls and salads to choose from. Last but very much importantly not least - YOU NEED to get the Spicy Relish. They have a bunch of different sauces made in house, but this spicy relish is ELITE! I do not know what is in it, but as someone who loves spice and acidity this vinegary spicy goodness is just too wonderful not to add to everything. Can't wait to try more Happea's.

The cilantro falafel pocket was excellent. The falafel was freshly made and quite good. For a healthy option I felt like I was eating a high class meal. The only issues I had were the pocket was small for the price and it took over 30 minutes to make despite the restaurant not being busy (only 3 other customers). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Otherwise it's in the heart of Brickell and a great lunch option.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Has cute decorations and covered outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely come back (as long as the service is a little quicker!)

Delicious first lunch in Miami! I got the lunch special, a chicken shawarma pita pocket (half) and a side (I got the marinated beets) and it was the perfect size and great price. The beets were delicious and so was the shawarma. The pita was warm and doughy, and the whole meal was 5/5 to me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was quick, the space is gorg, and it was the perfect temp to sit outside without sweating![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm hooked, I wish they had this in Tampa!

Chicken Shawarma Bowl.... Could be better and bigger

Was so excited to try this place and wanted to love it but I ordered on Uber eats and the portion is so small for the price. 25$ for a bowl of chicken shawarma with hummus? The bowl was half the size of the bowl I get at naked farmer for 20$, the chicken was super dry and flavorless, I put salt on the hummus and it still barely had flavor, it was healthy but a bit underwhelming....

Absolutely the best place. Healthy food cooked like in your mom's kitchen. The only thing I can suggest add a happy hour! All places around you have one. And please bring back avocado toast. It was the best

Quick stop for lunch while visiting Miami. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You Order at the counter, they have both outdoor & indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I rarely eat Mediterranean food but my hubby does. I found something to eat - crispy chicken schnitzel. It was very good! Served fast, hot & fresh. I don't have much to compare it to but I enjoyed!

This place is so consistently good. I'm obsessed with everything on the menu and would eat happeas for every meal if I could. The pitas are so soft, veggies so fresh, and meat and other fillings so flavorful. The fries are tasty and crunchy but soft. The happeas sauce is like a better spicy mayo. Service quick and nice too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance for eating in is very nice for a fast casual place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but I usually order through uber eats and the food still stays good. Live love happeas.

    Chicken shawarma pita
    Meg C.

Healthy, flavorful chicken shawarma pita in a nice, fast casual setting. You order at a kiosk and grab a pager, so most of the setup is self-serve. They have outdoor seating and a water machine, which was a plus for me. It took a bit longer than I was expecting to get our food given there was only one other customer there, but the pita was worth it. The textures and flavors exceeded my expectations - I really liked the crunchy pickles and beets, and the plantain really balanced out the acidity and spice - wish there was more than one in the pita. I was impressed with how tasty and fluffy the pita itself was, and it held up well to all the toppings and sauces. They smartly put greens at the bottom to prevent it from getting too soggy. Solid spot for a quick, healthy, cheaper mediterranean meal in Miami.

Absolutely fabulous food!! I got the chicken shawarma pocket after reading all the recommendations on yelp, and it did not disappoint. The pita was soft and warm. The chicken shawarma was brilliantly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The hummus was light and flavorful, absolutely loved the pickled cabbage and relish, and there was a plantain on there too which added a touch of sweet flavor. I so wish there was a Happea's on the east coast of florida toward St Pete as I'm over there much more, but when I'm in Miami again I will definitely be making another stop back here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is clean, and they have tables outside which is great for people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

While we enjoyed the overall experience, several service and execution issues took away from what should have been a special evening. Drink service was slow throughout the meal, and one guest didn't receive a refill until dinner was nearly finished. We were also told a birthday glass of wine would be complimentary, but it still appeared on the final bill. For the food, we ordered garlic butter for our steaks but received large portions of cold butter that hadn't melted. We also weren't informed that the filet already included garlic butter. The prawn appetizer had an off flavor, and one of the three filets was overwhelmingly peppery while the other two were properly seasoned. We ordered two bottles of wine and, due to limited tableside attention, often found ourselves refilling our own glasses throughout the evening. Overall, the food was enjoyable and we appreciated the opportunity to celebrate here. However, for a restaurant at this price point, the service and attention to detail should be much stronger. We traveled four hours for this experience and hope these issues were simply the result of an off night.

We started with the Korean ribs, sticky fried rice bites topped with tuna, chicken tenders, calamari, and shrimp & pork dumplings. The standout appetizer was definitely the dumplings, which we'd gladly order again. The ribs were tender, though the gochujang sauce may be a bit overpowering for those who aren't fans of bold umami flavors. Fortunately, that's right up our alley. The calamari was also cooked perfectly with a great texture. Our server, Isa, was fantastic throughout the evening. She kept our drinks topped off, checked in consistently without being intrusive, and made several great recommendations that helped guide our selections. For our main dishes, we sampled a variety of items. The filet was cooked properly but could have used a bit more seasoning. It paired nicely with the mashed potatoes and mushrooms. All of our steaks were cooked to the requested temperature, which is always appreciated and not something every restaurant consistently gets right. The tortellini was another solid choice, featuring a flavorful cream sauce that paired well with the added grilled chicken. Unfortunately, the Korean beef bibimbap was the biggest disappointment of the evening. It lacked flavor, and the rice at the bottom of the bowl was overly burnt and crispy from the residual heat. To finish the meal, we shared the crème brûlée cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. The cheesecake was a great ending to the meal, while the sticky toffee pudding reminded us somewhat of a molten chocolate cake and was equally enjoyable. Overall, there were more hits than misses, and we'd return to explore more of the menu.

We chose it to celebrate our first wedding anniversary on the 4th of July, and it did not meet the bar, not on the food, and certainly not on hospitality. I have had better service at a casual bistro, and I genuinely don't understand how this place earned a star and the reviews that come with it. We did the nine-course tasting. To be fair, several courses were genuinely good. The yellowtail (course 1) and the oyster (course 2) were strong openers. The gusher (course 5), built around jalapeño, was a highlight, and the truffle popper was excellent. A few others were close but undercut by a heavy hand: the agnolotti was very good on its own, but the cream was so rich and so excessive that it buried the dish. The wagyu was fine once I set the sauce aside, though the cut itself lacked the marbling and melt you'd expect from real wagyu. From there it fell apart. The halibut was so overcooked we couldn't eat it. The foie gras was served cold and rock solid, impossible to spread on the toast as instructed, when it should have been brought to a soft, butter-like texture beforehand. The dessert was overwhelmingly sweet. The cocktails had the same problem. I ordered a tomato cocktail that should have been savory and instead came out cloying, over-sweetened with sweet vermouth and yellow chartreuse to the point that the savory character was lost entirely. The hospitality was worse than the food. I noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our first anniversary. The maître d' said "happy anniversary" when we arrived, and that was the beginning and end of it. At a starred restaurant, on an occasion you've flagged in advance, you'd expect a little more care. Instead our server was absent for most of the night. We had to flag down other staff simply to order more drinks, and we ordered four cocktails and two glasses of wine over the evening, so the fault wasn't a quiet table. The most telling moment was the recovery, or the total absence of one. When we sent back the inedible halibut, the server said it shouldn't have happened and moved on. Nothing followed. At this level, how a kitchen and floor handle a mistake matters more than the mistake itself. A comped course, or even a small pour of wine or champagne, is the expected gesture. We were offered nothing. The room didn't help. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the air conditioning was running so cold that I was uncomfortable for much of the meal. There were bright spots, and I want to be fair about them. But for a starred, tasting-menu experience, and for an anniversary we chose this place to mark, the evening fell short on nearly every measure a star is meant to represent. I'd encourage anyone looking for a special meal to consider one of Miami's other Michelin spots instead.
