The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. We decided to keep things light and ordered the zucchini chips along with a special appetizer featuring whipped feta, roasted eggplant, arugula, and pistachios. Both dishes were excellent. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Still savoring the memories from Kalamata Mediterranean Cuisine, a spot that delivers a warm,…read moreauthentic Eastern Mediterranean/Turkish experience right by South Pointe. Its location makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner after a sunset walk, and the ambiance leans into that cozy, family-style hospitality the region is known for. We kicked things off with a generous mezze spread, a highlight here and consistently praised in reviews. It included creamy hummus, eggplant-based dips like baba ghanoush, beetroot, yogurt spreads, and a pepper-eggplant mix, all paired with warm, fresh pita that kept coming out just right. Sipping Turkish tea in the Miami heat somehow worked perfectly, it was refreshing in its own way. For the main, I ordered the Iskender kebab, a comforting, flavorful dish of gyro-style meat over pita, finished with a light tomato sauce. We also tried Efes beer, a crisp Turkish pilsner that balanced the meal nicely. Despite us being a group of 10, Barış, our waiter, handled everything with impressive attention to detail, something many diners mention about the service here: attentive, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. To top it off, dessert was on the house--a creamy almond and pistachio pudding that paired beautifully with a strong Turkish coffee. A thoughtful gesture that really sealed the experience. Between the vibrant flavors, the inviting atmosphere, and the consistently praised service, Kalamata delivers a family-friendly, authentic Mediterranean night out that feels both elevated and relaxed. Definitely a place worth returning to. Afiyet olsun, bir daha görüşmek üzere!
