Last Friday I decided to treat my self to a healthy treat as I was craving a guilt-free bite and decided to make my way over and try their carrot waffles. The Mediterranean inspired menu items are not only delicious but knowing that they don't use seed oils, they use organic products and they have gluten free, vegan options was game changer. I will agree with another review that said they were a bit dry and could use some syrup but overall the taste was very yummy and not too sweet. The egg plate was nothing out of this world, although I did like the added pomegranate but, this plate came out cold. My husband ordered the chicken (very yummy) and wild rice with chickpeas. I loved the aesthetic and concept of the restaurant, but don't know if it's worth the wait, lack of seating available and pricing. I'd read about this place recently and thought I'd give it a try. It's a Chipotle/QSR type setup where you order at the counter and they bring you the food. First impressions were good. High quality ingredients and Tulum-type atmosphere. Service was also helpful with ordering. However, the dealbreaker for this place is the protein sizes. On the plates and sandwiches, you only get 4 ounces of protein. Yes, 4 ounces only. Unless you are a petit woman, this is way too little. The protein sizes should be at least 6-8 ounces. Really skimping here. Also, for the chicken options, they don't offer chicken breast, only chicken thighs. Disappointing, yet the food was good. I had to switch tables a couple of times, because a few of the seats are uncomfortable. Prices are Miami normal. Expensive. Given the minuscule protien portions, I'd skip this place in the future.
