Paid street parking in front or on side streets. Restaurant does not validate parking if you park in the garage behind the restaurant. No validation. Items on their menu are served all day, including breakfast items Nothing is fried here and many of the desserts are gluten so read the description if you want gluten in your sweet treat. Exceptional customer service and very clean space! Can get loud during busy times and it's very calm during late morning hours on a weekday. To use the bathroom located outside you will need the code. Restaurant also provides free wifi. I visited to this place each day of my vacation and enjoyed most of my meals. The dessert was so-so but the guava cheesecake was heavenly and a must. The carrot cake was too grainy and lacked carrot flavor. Chocolate chip cookie was soft and had a nice salty taste. Filet mignon empanada was scrumptious and the spinach lacked flavor. They do not fry food here so the dough was a little different from what I'm use to. Loved the sandwiches! Reubeun and the mushroom sandwich were delicious, the bread really elevated the sandwich. Nachos were ok. They were not layered so you had cheese on all chips, chips at the bottom didn't have any toppings. All ingredients were flavorful but it just didn't have enough cheese. Overall I enjoyed the food and ambience, love the variety of unique vegan dishes on the menu and definitely recommend it.

I had a really great experience at Love Life Cafe. Since I was going to be in the Miami area for work, I figured I'd look around for some cool vegan restaurants to check out--especially since Miami is known for its vibrant food scene. I came across Love Life Cafe, which caught my attention because it wasn't too far from the airport and had some really interesting vegan options, including a vegan filet mignon. I was excited to try it, so I decided to head there straight from the airport. Getting out of the airport was a nightmare, and by the time I arrived, I was starving. It was also a bit rainy and overcast, which created a cozy vibe--perfect for warm comfort food. To start, I ordered a hot tea and a (fake) picadillo empanada as an appetizer. The empanada's spicy fake meat filling that was really flavorful and served piping hot. It was a great way to kick off the meal. Then came the main event--the vegan filet mignon, which is made using a brand called Chunk Foods. They specialize in hearty, soy-based protein meats, and this one did not disappoint. It had the look and texture of real filet mignon--stringy, tender, and easy to cut into, with pieces that pulled apart naturally. The flavor was rich and satisfying, and the sauce was especially delicious. It was served over a bed of buttered mashed potatoes with a chimichurri-style green sauce. The dish was super hearty and filling. I couldn't even finish the whole plate--I left a small piece of the filet and about half the mashed potatoes. It was definitely one of the more satisfying vegan meals I've had in a while and absolutely worth the visit. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Miami to try other items off their menu!!

What a lovely cafe. There were lots of seats indoors and even some outside that some people were enjoying. The woman that greeted us was very pleasant. She gave us a menu and you order at the counter and take a number. They have a self service computer to order too. I am glad we didn't use that because I always OVER order when I use those! We got a crispy tofu roll. Really good. I'd get it again. I had the taco salad. Wow! Everything tasted so dang FRESH. This was a real salad. Hearty. Filling. Flavorful. I wish more restaurants could get this concept down. Also great to know they make most of their ingredients in house and most items can be made gluten-free. Cool My husband got the veggie burger which he said was just a typical veggie burger. I didn't try it because it has pickles on it and they aren't my thing. There were lots of items on the menu that I still want to try. They have breakfast options too which is awesome. It's also nice that they are open late! The temperature inside the establishment was perfect (not sure what was going on when the other reviewer visited) We will be back soon

I love how friendly this cafe is! The server recommended a few dishes to me that are popular here: the warm cooked bowls, the ravioli, and the green pizza. I had been wanting to try the green pizza and it's fabulous! It balances the bitterness of green veggies with rich vegan cheese that is so well done it does not even taste like it's not real cheese! Even the crust of the pizza tasted like breadsticks. I don't normally finish crusts, but I did thoroughly enjoy this one! It's very nice to sit in this place with a good flow of air and an open feeling when you sit inside even though the tables are closer together than they were at their previous location. I feel at home here!

The food here is absolutely incredible! Between the two of us, we had roasted potatoes, curry lentil soup, a kale superfood salad, ramen, and a roll--everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. I have a very sensitive stomach, and I'm happy to say none of it bothered me at all. My friend ordered an oatmeal cookie, and after one bite, I had to get one for myself--even though I haven't eaten sweets in six months! It was that good. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. This is a must-visit spot. I'll definitely be back--and honestly, I want to try everything on the menu. I'd even come back to Miami just for this place!

Located in Wynwood this restaurant offers 100 percent vegan food . We ordered empanadas and all the sushi you could possibly want to eat . We also ordered the guava cheese cake that was a happy ending . All the food was delicious and the service was good . The only complaint for me was, that it was hot in the restaurant .

The variety of offerings on their super varied menu was absolutely outstanding - you would never know the food is fully plant based and vegan. We were thrilled with the quality of the food - it tasted so amazing. We highly recommend it, and you will not be disappointed!

Mediocre Food, Insultingly Small Portions and Poor Service…read more Unfortunately, Komodo was a major disappointment. The food was mediocre--especially for a Miami Spice menu--and nowhere near the upscale experience we expected. After spending almost $400 for my husband and I, I would have expected more. The portions were insultingly tiny, with the exception of the chicken salad. The salmon tacos contained what tasted like salmon "paste," and each taco shell was barely two inches long. They were so ridiculously small that even our waiter chuckled. The "half Maine lobster" was about the size of a jumbo shrimp, with no claw. The main course came with no sides so for $65 jumbo shrimp that was it. If you actually want a meal expect to pay extra for "fried" rice that was super bland and churrasco 10 oz extra at $12. So my steak meal was $87 and for that I could have had a real upscale experience at Daniel's in the Gables with upscale service and food. The experience started poorly when the four of us were seated at an awkward, cramped table with no legroom. We were positioned facing outward instead of toward one another, making normal conversation nearly impossible. It was a very strange setup for a party of four. Also, it was very warm in the restaurant and I would have asked to adjust but at the look at the servers face and everyone else I was afraid to say anything that something would happen to my food. The hostess also forgot to give us the Miami Spice menu. As soon as we requested it, the waiter's attitude noticeably changed, and the service went downhill from there. By the end of the night, the restaurant was overcrowded, with a very young crowd pouring into the bar area, and everything felt disorganized and poorly managed. Miami Spice used to be a wonderful way to experience Miami's better restaurants. Unfortunately, this felt more like a complete rip-off than a special dining experience. Komodo did not deliver the quality, portions, service or atmosphere its prices and reputation suggest. They should not be participating in Miami Spice as they have no upscale food to offer. My only regret is I didn't take pictures for potential customers to see how terrible this experience was and food looked. This was highly disappointing,,,save your money.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Very helpful and he explained all the dishes and was a good advocate for the restaurant. We had two gluten free diners in our party, one with celiac, and our sever and Chef handled it well and adopted as best they could. We tried a lot of different dishes. The salatim trio, the persian cucumber, and steak shawarma hummus & pita (one of everyone's favorites) were all great. The local fish ceviche was very good as was the feta & pistachio. For main meals we tried the branzino (2). Also the braised beef short rib was excellent (hearty and moist) and the double cut lamb chop was cooked perfectly.
