For the money, great value. Quick service, no frills, easy. If you are downtown Miami this is a good stop to fill your belly. Food is very good- great hummus.

We first discovered Motek in 2020 and have been coming to the original location before they expanded. Most dishes are now greasy and it wasn't like that before. Hummus used to be way better and now it's more olive oil than hummus. It's just average lunch food that tries to seem like something that it's not. Since 2020, the prices have gone up a lot (I understand inflation and what not) but the quality went down. The tab includes 18% gratuity, and it's now standard to pay around $80 for two people to eat here. I could understand that price for the Aventura or Brickell location because you get to sit at a nice location, but the downtown location is inside a rundown office building where half of the tables are in the mall walkway. And again, it's just mid lunch food. The service is mid across all locations. This time they messed up our order and we had to wait for them to remake the dish (we ordered something completely different from what they've brought). They act like they know gratuity is included and we can't do anything about it. It feels like they are focused on opening as many new locations as possible over maintaining reasonable quality to price ratio. Somewhere in the last five years this place lost the plot and forgot what they are.

Hibiscus tea-it was unsweetened but once you add the amount of sugar you like it's delicious Chicken shawarma- the chicken was a very good portion I only wish there was more pita bread Baklava- I wish it was a larger portion because it is small. The service was also great from everyone

2/27/2025 - Searching TikTok in Los Angeles, we found this unique cafe store in Miami for a visit. We enjoyed the ambience and hospitality at the store, especially Joao, our waiter. He told me MOTEK means Sweet Heart, etc. MOTEK Cafe was opened in July 2020 as a first store in Miami. Today, the chain store has 8 locations in Miami. We all enjoyed cozy ambience (5 stars), hospitality (5 stars), drinks (4 stars) and LAHMAJUN CHIPS (4 stars). A 18% of service charge will be automatically applied if you choose to sit down for enjoying your drink and bites. It is worth my money because I can enjoy its unique cozy ambience with great service.

I've been to Motek in Aventura mall (downstairs restaurant and upstairs fast casual food court) - the food is always delicious! The Motek downtown is located in the Seybold building (jeweler center). I stopped in for a sweet treat: the black sesame gelato was topped with candied pecans, loads of halva, and date syrup. Absolutely divine

Very nice Israely food! Everything was very tasty. The place is clean and beautifully decorated with flowers. I would only suggest to add just tiny bid more of jam and labane (so it will not look like I got left overs:)) I would definitely recommend this place.

Mushroom hummus and pita - TO DIE FOR!!

Come for the Hummus, Stay for the Hummus Motek serves the best hummus I've ever had--smooth, whipped, ultra-creamy, and packed with flavor. Many flavors to choose from! Honestly, it's worth the drive just for that alone. It's the kind of dish that makes you pause after the first bite. While the service can be hit or miss (and often is), the food--especially the hummus--completely steals the show and makes it all worth it. If you're a hummus lover, don't skip this spot.

I've visited 3 Motek locations by now and while this place is small, the service and food do not disappoint. We ordered a few different dishes and within a few minutes, I was already eating. The tables are small (built for 2), so if you're there at a busy time, it'll be hard to have space for everything you order. I had to get an additional table next to me just to lay everything out.

Wow!! I am in love with this restaurant. We were shopping in the jewelry district and stumbled upon this small cafe in the middle of the building. The menu was hard to choose just a few things. I wanted to try it all. The server was very helpful- making sure we didn't order too much food. This will for sure be a stop every time we visit Miami

Good quality food. The last two times I came here they were out of my favorite dish: lamb shawarma (sandwich). They have a policy to use the meat for the higher priced dishes. Service was good. Albeit was a little rushy toward the end. We were out before close. I enjoyed the lamb kebob. Also ordered the cauliflower app which had a good crunch tonight but was low on sauce. They were nice enough to bring some extra sauce on the side. Ambiance is a little odd in an older jewelry type mall. They do make the best of the space. It's a trek to a common not that clean bathroom. Paid street parking.

This location is very small inside the famous jewelry building in downtown. It is a great option for lunch. The food is delicious. I found that this location serves their food on point. It is always warm, tasty and nicely presented unlike some of the other ones. I truly enjoy their Arayes burger, a Lebanese grilled beef stuffed pita, with a side of fries and delicious sauces. It was served warm and fries were very tasty. Another great option is the chicken shawarma wrap made with chicken thigh, amba aoili, shredded cabbage and pickled onions. The combination of flavors is just fantastic. Prices are a bit high and they keep on going higher everytime I visit, but then again is Miami. Motek has multiple locations in Miami and not all have the same menu. I am not a fan of that but this location has very good options for lunch and the staff does a good job on serving the food warm, well seasoned and in a timely manner.

We tried the Chicken Shawarma Pita Pocket, and it clearly is better than any other sandwich option. The soft pita wraps around warm, creamy hummus (honestly one of the best in the city), pickled red cabbage, Mediterranean pickles, and that well-seasoned chicken shawarma. The mix of lemon tahini, mango aioli, a touch of spicy relish, caramelized plantains, and roasted red pepper sauce gives it a really layered flavor without feeling heavy. Everything works together, and nothing competes. We also had the Cilantro Falafel Bowl, which comes with a base of hummus and lemon cabbage salad. The falafel with lemon tahini is crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the bowl is packed with roasted cabbage, cherry tomatoes, English cucumbers, chickpeas, pickles, pickled red cabbage, and pita wedges. It's simple, very fresh, and filling in a clean way. One thing that stands out at Happeas is the personalized attention, you actually feel taken care of, and there's a good chance you'll meet the owner while you're there. The vibe is relaxed, not rushed, and they've thought about small details, like having a self-serve water machine with still and sparkling options, which is a nice touch. Overall, Happeas delivers honest, well-made food with flavors that feel intentional but not overdone. Great spot for a quick lunch that doesn't taste like a compromise.
