Vegan Planet and Amor Di Pasta are actually the same restaurant. There is outdoor seating on the patio and then inside seating. There is a vegan menu and then a non-vegan menu. You can order off of both. The servers were friendly and helped us understand the parking situation. They then gave us some recommendations about the menu and brought bread for the table. We ordered the vegan fettuccine mushroom and vegan gnocchi bolognese. Our server also brought us some vegan Parmesan to sprinkle on top. Both pastas were cooked perfectly and we received good sized portions. The vegan cream sauce on the fettuccine was light and tasted very similar to a real dairy Alfredo. A little slippery and hard to eat but delicious. I would definitely come back to try more of the pasta entrees. For dessert we hard the vegan tiramisu. This was just ok in my opinion. The biscuit weren't as soft and soaked as most tiramisu, but that may be because of the ingredients of the vegan biscuits. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Best thing here was the bread with oil and vinegar. EVERYTHING else I would highly NOT Recommend. Mushroom Risotto was by far the worst thing we ordered. Pizza was barely edible. Not a lick of oyster mushroom in the mushroom calamari. We spent $80 on lunch for a vegan scam. read more

The food is 5/5. Possibly the best vegan Italian food? I loved our pink sauce gnocchi. Also enjoyed the black truffle & vegan shrimps. Ambiance could be romantic. Very cute interior. Service was incredibly slow. It was friendly & fast until it wasn't. Shortly after our arrival, it got busy. They allowed too many guests for their limited staff. Two (2) servers and maybe not enough in the kitchen too? It went sideways with then running around but not getting to everyone. The wait was awful but the food was excellent. Vegan Planet is a 2-in-1 restaurant that is shared with Amor Di Pasta (same restaurant, two menus), so it's really great if you're looking for a spot to appease both Vegans and non-Vegans. The good: -Nice ambiance with some upscale flair. For whatever reason, I really liked the ultra-high ceilings. -The vegan gnocchi pink sauce was excellent, and my favorite dish. -The vegan truffle fettuccine was good, but not to the same caliber as the gnocchi dish. (3/5) -I tried some of my partner's vegan shrimp cherry tomato pasta dish. Not a shrimp person, but I can attest it had a pretty realistic shrimp taste and texture. The pasta itself was good. The not so good: -Service was overall friendly, but extremely slow. Restaurant was relatively sleepy when we first sat down, but became more crowded later on with only two wait staff running around. Oh my goodness, I wasn't careful reading the reviews and ordered the Vegan Pepperoni Pizza... I'm all about vegan food but this was not it. Initially, I described it as eating glue. But someone else who reviewed this earlier made a comment about it tasting like play-doh. To be seriously honest, it just tasted sorta like melted, play-doh glue on cold pizza. Used to be one of my favorites until last evening. When our order was delivered there was no pizza. Called them and a man answered the phone and told me they forgot to send the pizza. I said it must be cold and he replied we will make a new one and deliver it to you. After 50 minutes I called again and this time Luna answered. Told me that they cannot deliver it because I should call Uber. Door Dash, of which I am a premier customer was the delivery. She said I had to call Door Dash and enter a new order. Of course they charged me for the pizza, taxes, delivery on the initial order. Luna was very helpful but told me the man who answered was a bus boy. Tables were respectively distanced and there are outdoor eating options available. Service was good but the food was the real highlight of the evening. The bread they start you with is soft and delicious, I almost ordered a second basket. I got the vegan gnocchi trio and it was delicious! The tomato sauce is amazing, reminds me of some of my favorite NY Italian spots. The Alfredo is also great and the pesto was perfect! My partner got the vegan spaghetti carbonara and it was delicious as well! Rich, buttery, really tasted like bacon and the noodles were thick and fresh. Don't skip dessert! I repeat do not skip dessert! The vegan tiramisu is out of this world! So good we devoured the first one and ordered more. It's layered kind of like a trifle and is the most creamy delicious tiramisu I've EVER had. We can't wait to come back and try the eggplant parm, pizza and panna cotta! It's in Miami Beach so they had easy access parking, which is a huge plus! The vibe of the place was awesome. They had a lovely little outdoor area and the food was amazing. They also had quite an extensive wine list and they had a full page of vegan wine. It was reasonably priced, considering where we were everything in Dade county, and in Miami is pricier.
