I ordered a Dominican cake with pineapple filling for my parent's 40th wedding anniversary and Hanoli did not disappoint! All our family & friends kept raving about the great quality & flavor. Highly recommend for all events it not only looked absolutely gorgeous but it tasted amazing! Thank you so much!

Ordered my daughter's birthday cake and they nailed it. The cake looked exactly like what I wanted and it was delicious.

Best customer service ever. I was running late to pick up a cake and they were just amazing. The dulce de leche cake is out of this world. Not too sweet just perfect. Please do yourself a favor and get one it's just perfect.

Was going to wait to review this spot until I returned at least one or two more times but alas one of my items was moldy! Everything else otherwise was wonderful. The store itself is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. There's pink florals galore on the interior and exterior of the bakery and neon lights perfect for instagrammers. The selection of baked goods is lovely and the menu is about the standard pricing you'd expect to see. The cake was best described as "juicy" because the layers were saturated with simple syrup (I think) which I really liked because it definitely keeps the cake tasting fresh. But the same could not be said about the croissant which had a fairly sizeable green splotch of mold on the back. That doesn't happen in a day so I'd don't want to know how long they'd been sitting there. The cookies were okay. I wish there was some more jam in the middle. There's something about the taste that is sweet in an almost artificial way? The chocolate was okay. I reminded me of the chocolate animals on sticks kids would bring to school in kindergarten.

I got two slices of cake and what I think should be butter cream frosting just tastes like butter . Butter cream frosting is pretty easy to make so messing that up for a bakery is pretty bad

Macaroon, chocolate with pretzels, red velvet cookie

Very cute place. So far I tried the macaroon which was delicious, the chocolate bars, and red velvet cookies. It was delicious, the service was nice, and the interior is beautiful.

The layers I ordered wasn't what I wanted, I wanted them how I showed her and she didn't do that at all.

It's absolutely amazing, and the filling is very generous--it feels like heaven in every bite. Another favorite of mine is the chocolate layer cake: rich, velvety smooth chocolate that isn't overly sweet. The only thing I don't agree with is that they do not clearly tell customers that dining in adds an extra $1 charge to each item. Yes, check your receipt. I'm expected to tip my waitstaff and also pay an extra dollar per item just because I chose to dine in. For example, the cupcake is usually $4.75 to go, but they charged me an extra $1 for dining in. Their cake slices are usually $9.50 to go, but I was charged $10.50. I also tipped 20%, so the added charge felt frustrating, especially since there was no clear notice. When I asked the waitstaff about the $1 charge, she said it was entered that way because I dined in. When I later called about it, the manager simply said, "Next time, just order to go if you don't want to be charged extra." That response was disappointing, especially since there was no visible sign explaining this policy, and their dine-in menu does not show separate pricing. I really think management should fix this to avoid misleading customers. Transparency matters. Don't get me wrong--I would still come back because their cakes are amazing, but from now on, I'll always order everything to go.

Over the years, I have tried many of their desserts since it's one of the only decent dessert options around the area. However, it would not be my first choice if I had others. With that said, my whole family and many of my friends all agree that their best item is the Berry Napoleon. That is the one cake that I do enjoy from this shop. We often buy a whole cake for a group gathering or birthdays. As for dining in, there's always a lot of people inside the store and it gets a bit loud. Not my favorite place to relax and chat with my friends. That's why I only buy takeout when I do get the Berry Napoleon. I think I do prefer the Astoria original location more.

The layers were flaky. The cream, exceptional. Such a wonderful Pistachio flavor. Sweet enough to curb any sweet tooth. Service was easy. We ordered at the pastry display and they brought our desserts to the counter where we also ordered a Lavender lemonade. It was so good. Starbucks Lavender has nothing on theirs. The ambiance was nice. Some camped on their laptops. Others running in for a quick bite. Beautiful dining area. Very comfortable, as well. The booth couches are a nice touch. I ordered the strawberry tart, lemon tart and pistachio Mille fille. I really appreciated the packaging and the takeout bag, which made it seem very high end. The pastries were all pretty good and were HUGE. The tarts are very similar and the pistachio Mille fille has a subtle taste. It was reasonably priced. My only complaint is the checkout process. It was slightly disorganized but I think it was mostly due to the amount of customers they had that day.

I opted for a chocolate theme because why not? Pain Au Chocolate ($6.95): The pain au chocolate was a stunner. Chocolate Chunk Cookie ($4.95): This cookie features copious amounts of dark and milk chocolate and offers a delightful chewy texture, with a few grains of salt on top. I prefer all dark chocolate but that's just me. Still recommended! Somedays is small and doesn't have any indoor seating, but there are some tables and chairs outside. This corner store in Astoria is one I have been passing by regularly over the last few months, and it has good service and some nice outdoor seating. So far, my favorite item has been the Pistachio Lattice, which is super crunchy on the surface while the nutty sweetness shines through on each bite. Another one I really enjoy is the Blueberry Cardamom Escargo, which has absolutely delicious cream cheese frosting mixed with wild blueberry jam and that nice hint of cardamom. Very moist. The Chocolate Chunk Cookie is pretty good too. Plenty of chocolate chunks with a hit of salt. However, their popular Pain Au Chocolate is not the best I have had. There is just not enough chocolate in each bite. Prices are not cheap, but the pastries are mostly very large in size, so you somewhat do get what you pay for. I don't eat baked goods too often, so it's not that bad in my mind. Service has been solid too.

I could've gone with a little less frosting and more cake, but it made for a very aesthetically pleasing topping with the vibrant colors, sprinkles, and glitter. I kept getting strong hints of rose flavor from the pink frosting on the chocolate cupcakes so I'm not sure if they infused it with that.
