    Mushroom Scramble
    Dena H.

Last summer we came here and I had the best breakfast ever. We came back just last Sunday morning and I had the worst breakfast ever. The eggs were brownish green. The hashbrowns were raw. It was basically inedible. The server was sweet... I didn't want to burden her with my complaints. I am just chalking this up to a new cook. An egg scramble should not look like this. Another problem was that we had 5 in our party. Two dishes were served first. Then another dish came about 5 minutes later. The last 2 dishes came about 10 minutes after that. Sadly I don't think I will be back.

I am all about supporting local businesses, especially when it comes to food. But this place charges way too much for what they provide. I tried this place two weeks in a row and ordered the same order both weeks to ensure my experience the first time was not an aberration. First, I made my order a pickup order. I ordered the High Demand with fries and a starter of fried pickles. I have no idea what is going on with your frier, but anything fried is limp, tasteless and pathetic. No crisp or seasoning what so ever. It's not because my order sat while waiting for me to pick it up and return home, because I live two blocks away and followed the app notifications. The burger was okay. But deconstructing it I could see you used French's yellow mustard and not stone ground. I could also taste it. The bun was barely toasted and soggy. Like I said, it was okay. But not worth $17. I could go to the Safeway in the same shopping center and buy the ingredients myself to build the same burger 4 times over at less than half the cost. More time and care needs to be taken while crafting this food for what it cost. I know you have the time. I went in both weeks on a Friday between 5:30 and 6 p.m. The first week there was literally no one in the restaurant, and this week there were two people. This is a restaurant on life support. Train your staff on how to properly fry food. Use quality ingredients. You have a decent foundation. This spot is lacking in execution.

Chicken fried steak breakfast. There's my fist for some comparison to size.

Great food. And great service. One of the best breakfasts I've had in years. I'd stop here anytime.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to get breakfast and were on our way somewhere else when we saw this place. We decided to stop and give it a try. The atmosphere is very diner, mans man decor, and what you'd expect. The benches are falling apart and not sure appealing. The service was just fine. There when we needed them, but didn't hover. The waitress wasn't overly friendly, but also wasn't rude. She just was. Which was just fine for us. The food was good. I really liked my omelet with bacon. My husband got the chicken fried steak, and while it wasn't the best he had ever had it also wasn't the worst. We would definitely try it again.

I had decent hopes for this place after reading the reviews. I feel so bad writing this but I appreciate honesty. Husband and I ordered our burgers medium, they came well done. I ordered onion rings but got fries. Husband's garlic fries were funky... we can't explain it. The buns on his burger were cold and he noticed his plate was unusually cold too. Our server was mellow. Ambience was okay too.

Decent burger I did request no tomato and I got tomato. Thought that was weird because I was the only one there. Fries were crispy. Looked just about the same as when it was Lost Boys. I stopped in a little after they opened and I could hear the staff cursing and bragging about their night out last night my entire meal. I don't really care what the staff did last night but I was forced to hear all about it.

I've read many reviews and this afternoon we went in for a late lunch to see for ourselves. Disappointing. We were greeted and seated right away by a server (I think she was the bartender, too). Nice welcome. She took our drink orders right away and brought menus. Unfortunately the seat back of the booth we sat in had two large slits with foam coming out. Ugh Lots of menu options but we tried a pretty basic cheeseball burger. We appreciated being able to choose if we wanted it pink or well done. There's a simple kids menu that had a cheeseburger and, as I wasn't very hungry, I wondered if I could get that. She said sorry, we don't allow that. Oh, ok, then we decided to split the cheeseball burger. When it came it had been split between two plates with a separate stack of fries - great. The burger patty seemed to have been put on a cold grill or steamed. Absolutely no caramelization and very little flavor. The cheeseballs on top seemed like they weren't curds at all, just small balls of mozzarella breaded and fried. The fries were strange, some still white and limp and others crisp and very good. We were hoping for a better experience.

We stopped in for lunch and it did NOT disappoint. I got the Reuben and my husband the Pastrami. They were both so delicious. I can't wait to come back and try a burger! The service was excellent.

I haven't had the occasion to write a review in some time. It has been even longer since I wrote a negative review. Today, my breakfast at Hangry's in North Spokane changes all that. I went for breakfast with my wife and ordered the special. It was the Philly Cheese Steak scramble. When the meal arrived I immediately noticed that there was so much fat that even trying to cut it apart was a non starter. I showed the waitress, told her it was not edible and could I just have a couple of eggs to replace it. Her immediate reply was I'll have to charge you anyway. I never asked for a free meal. I just wanted to have something to eat. I asked if I could speak to the manager and she obliged. The Manager was defensive, and said that "we buy our meat from Sonnenberg's. I said that what mattered wasn't where it was purchased but that the meat was full of fat. I asked if she would eat it and she replied by saying "I've already had 2 of them today". (BTW, it was only about 12:30). When I received the bill they charged me for the egg, $3.99. I was more than willing to pay for the original meal even though I only ate the toast and hash browns, about $18. When I questioned this she asked me,"do you know how much eggs cost!?" Sorry, but even though every other time I've been here I was 100% delighted with everything today changed everything. Oh, as we were leaving, my waitress said "don't bother coming back." Finally, something we could agree upon. Sadly, I won't be back!

I had the blue cheese, bacon, mushroom burger with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions on the side. If you want it more rare, just ask! Excellent service and great burgers!

We have only been to the Northside location a few times. It is really nice to see the full breakfast menu. I had the chicken fried steak scramble made into a burrito and it was super good. My husband had the Hangry Breakfast and he really enjoyed it. The hashbrowns were yummy ... They weren't to busy which was good since there was just on wait staff who was super nice and attentive. I love the fact they have kept the garage feel here and honestly as much as I hated to see Lost Boys close this is a great place as well. We live in NE Chattaroy area so having Hangrys up north as an option is great

Warm, melt in your mouth, light and airy. - was excited to see the portobello mushroom burger on the menu- flavorful and a tad messy. - the calamari has an Asian flair. Points for being different and delicious, but the calamari was small and you don't get very much. I liked the slaw. Lots of slaw, little calamari. Cons: The burgers were overcooked but still went down . The bottom bun was very overcooked...a bit too hard for our liking.

Service: our waiter was helpful and kind - when he was there. It started off great, but as the evening went on he wasn't there when we needed. We waited a fair amount of time for our entrees, drinks we had ordered, and lastly for boxes and our checks. It was a little frustrating, but he was clearly busy and it may not have been his fault. Food: we started with the pork burnt ends. They were cooked wonderfully and tasted great. I would say they were maybe just a tad too sweet, but I still really enjoyed them. My husband got the crossbred corn Mac and cheese. He liked it and thought it had good flavor. I tried it and didn't care for it. I got the Tuscan Penne pasta with Chicken. I didn't love it. It had large whole cooked cherry or grape tomatoes in it and they weren't great and There wasn't a ton of flavor in general. The chicken in it was probably the best part and I added it for $7.50. Our friends got the special which was some shrimp risotto. The risotto was overcooked and was mush and the amount of crispy onions was way more than the amount of risotto in the dish. The shrimp was cooked well though and they enjoyed the flavor. For drinks I started with the Cadillac Margarita. It was far too sweet for me. The next drink I asked them to make me a spicy margarita with just jalapeños and pineapple juice instead of any mix they had. That turned out better than my first margarita. we had a good time with our friends and enjoyed our night out. However, we all kind of said we didn't care to make it back there. None of us were too impressed and for what we paid, it just wasn't worth it.

One morning after a long shift, I decided to order my husband and I breakfast sandwiches and a coffee for myself for later. A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza.
