    Breakfast with my nephews

Wonderful restaurant where I took my nephews for brunch. They had a great kids menu. Their menu is very gourmet and their food is delicious...catering to the Foodie. This is my favorite place to eat when I come to town. Service was excellent!

Wednesday night "Burger of the Moment" with cheddar cheese, pepper crusted bacon, fry sauce, crispy onions, and garlic aioli $13

I love a good deal so when I heard about the Burger of the Moment special I was like uhmmmm yesssss. $13 for a rotating burger and chips. Changes weekly, check insta for burger. This one had cheddar cheese, pepper crusted bacon, fry sauce, crispy onions, and garlic aioli. The Gorgonzola fries + blue cheese are amazing too. I have never been in on a Wednesday when it's not pretty busy so don't be surprised. Also, parking = terrible. Don't be surprised about that either. I always park down the block. Our server was very busy, but he was friendly. He forgot to do the burger special and then I didn't even notice it until I was tipping. Which no big deal honestly, it was like $6 or something. But I asked if they stopped doing the special and he apologized and gave me a card that was some type of discount for next time, so that was nice of him.

Clean lines and ready for you to eat.

Fancy like....date night. This was our first time here and we immediately fell in love. We made reservations online and our hostess sat us immediately at a cute table next to a wall that we had all to ourselves. The lighting is cool here and the fixtures have a MCM vibe. It truly added a romantic charm to our date night. The restaurant is done in wood with clean lines. Now let's talk about the goods. The menu is the perfect size. We found many dishes we wanted to try but knew we weren't hungry enough to order them all today. We were told the gorgonzola fries are a must. I'll clarify by saying they are crucial. Yes. Crucial enough to be ordered at every meal. So either as an appetizer or with your meal. The waffle fries do an excellent job at being the carrier of all the cheesy goodness. They were crisp and so flavorful. I now call these "High Five Fries" because that's what I felt like doing after every bite. Next was the beet salad. I'm still digging beets everywhere I eat. These were lovely. Both red and gold, tossed with this delicious citrus dressing on a perfect bed of greens. The bourbon soaked cherries were so divine. They added a pop to my salad I never knew I needed. We decided by having salads we of course saved room for dessert. The beignet dessert was the chosen one and it felt like getting powdered up for a fancy night at the opera. I can't sing enough praises over the chewy fried dough texture, the perfect mess of powder sugar all over our table, the sauce on the plate and the jam to dip. We literally ate them all. I think even Cafe du Monde in NOLA would give a chef kiss. Our server was friendly and checked back often. Our food came up so fast....even during the busy 6pm hour. What a beautiful place. We will be back to try that tofu dish soon and hopefully some Creme Brule next.

We came here the other evening for drinks. I ordered a huckleberry vodka-based cocktail and it was delicious! Our server was lovely. I would have given this place 5 stars except service was a bit slow and the serving assistant was clearly very stressed out -- she practically ran to our table to seat us and noticeably clanked our glasses of water down on the table. Besides that, we enjoyed our time here.

To start, our server was wonderful. We sat in the bar but he made us mocktails all night. Such a wonderful guy! The food was divine! The mushroom risotto is something I could eat every day for the rest of my life. The flavor hits you right in the face and it's the most savory thing I've tasted in a very long time. My tofu was delicious and the curry sauce packed a punch. Those two dishes alone I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Check out their Instagram, it seems like they do a lot of day of specials. I wish I lived in the area so I could stop by! I don't love tiramisu but my girlfriend wanted to get it, it was the only thing that didn't wow us. There are other desserts I'd like to try next time I'm in town. Can't wait to come back!

Another first for us even though we've lived in Spokane or the surrounding area for years and frequent a business owned by the same family of businesses. We came for my Birthday and enjoyed a late lunch with only a few other patrons. The menu is small, but everything we had was delicious. Good service and nice ambiance, this restaurant in the Audubon area of Spokane is a great place for family or date night. There is a small, off street parking lot and curb parking on nearby side streets. We will definitely go again and try out some of the other yummy possibilities on the m

In from out of town and stopped by this place because of the burger reviews. We were not disappointed. The quality of beef in their burgers is unlike anything I've ever had. So fresh and basically taste like you're eating a steak. AMAZING! I also had a Huckleberry Drop cocktail. I'm no expert on huckleberries but that drink was delicious. To finish the evening we had beignets...to go since we were so full from the burgers but the beignets were great too even s couple hours later! Overall great friendly staff, neighborhood feeling. Totally recommend!

However, Luna does offer a lot of things for this price. You have a pleasant neighborhood restaurant vibe, with friendly attentive service and excellent, healthy food sourced from good places. As with anything in Spokane, you will see folks in very casual attire, but this is also a place where you can dress up. When we went, there were several tables of women friends (all ages), many family groups (without young kids or with well-behaved kids), and older couples. I was in the mood for salmon and they did a great version. It should be though for just under $50. It was served with black rice (good) and roasted carrots (good) and a carrot puree (really good but not enough on the plate). My dining companion got the scallops, and they were even more expensive than the salmon. $48 for TWO scallops. Ok, they are large, and well-cooked, and came with a lovely vegetable mix and couscous, but that's a lot of $ for Spokane. We are from CA and that's even a shocker for us. Dessert: they had recently added a banana pudding, which was good. It replaced a chocolate dessert--and that was a bad move because there is no intense chocolate on the menu. We also tried the coconut cake with lemon curd. There was not enough curd; it was barely a tang. The cake itself was a little dry. It is served with house-made ice cream, which balances the dryness but the cake should be good on its own. Apparently, this is their most popular dessert. I am a chocolate-first person. I like coconut. I like good vanilla. I really like lemon curd and a sweet-sour pairing. For me, this item felll short.

That's probably the highlight of the whole experience. I started with the Cheshire Cat mocktail, which was a bit oversweet for me. For main course, I had sea bass for $48 (pan-seared fish served with onion-potato gnocchi, charred asparagus, mushrooms, and asparagus coulis). It was decent, but the portion felt small for the price. Salmon rillette ended up being the best dish! It was rich, savoury, and delicious when paired with pickled onions (the bread was slightly burnt - I hated it). Ended the meal with a vanilla gelato dessert - just okay, not too wow. The restaurant was so packed and seemed understaffed, so service took forever. I left feeling a bit disappointed, especially after looking forward to it so much

We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.

Time from entering the restaurant to food on the table was an hour, seems a little crazy for a waffle + topping situation. I think I'd almost prefer this as order at the counter and stream line the service time given waffles are casual. Inside was really loud even though it wasn't packed. My latte listed on menu for $6 was $7.50 and mimosa listed at $11 was $14... not sure if we missed something there? Was hungry pretty soon after, sampler really isn't enough for a meal.
