As an avid BBQ smoker myself, I wasn't expecting this quality of brisket, but what a pleasant surprise! My wife loved the chicken bowl while my boys had the chicken sandwich. Everyone was beyond satisfied. You'll enjoy the great bbq with incredibly views and a friendly staff. Happily recommend this place after a hike, or just to make your belly happy!

Look no further for an amazing breakfast sandwich!!! This place really is the GOAT! We got the ham and cheese bagel and they use real smoked ham! No lunch meat here!!! Would definitely come back! Quick, easy, fast, delicious!

Not bad BBQ for being in Utah. My wife got the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. She wasn't expecting mustard in the Carolina Style BBQ sauce - she was very happy that she got it on the side. She said her sandwich was average. I got the BBQ Pulled Pork Bowl with Chipotle Ranch. The taste of the quinoa did not come through, which was a good thing. Mine meal was tasty and the Chipotle Ranch was delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze for lunch. I followed the sign and put my basket on the wire rack. Less than 30 seconds later my basket almost made it out to the road with the wind. The service is top notch. You order at the counter, and they call your name after the order has been quickly made. Great atmosphere!

Today we stopped by hungry goat. We ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and a brisket protein bowl, and a potato salad. To be honest, we were really hungry after hiking Zion NP, so anything other than trail mix would have been a welcomed dinner. We ordered around 6:20, and there was no one else there, probably because they close at 7pm. Service was fast and friendly, but I was a bit disappointed with the brisket bowl: the brisket was fatty and the bowl lacked any fresh ingredients (the "roasted" veggies in the bowl tastes like they came from a can). We ate out on the deck, and you really can't match the views. Glad we fueled up before heading back to our campsite. Overall, a decent meal for what we paid.

Service was great! Quaid was very friendly and helpful about the menu. The ham breakfast bowl featured country ham which was tasty. The featured scrambled eggs, potatoes and cheese which is very comforting food for breakfast. On the downside, there wasn't any coffee available, possibly due to a supply issue?? It' seems this could have been over come by stopping at the local grocery store. The tables and chairs had not been service, so I wiped them down myself. This is a great place for a quick and healthy lunch break they have sandwiches and protein bowls. I don't normally like bowls for my meal but this was excellent! I got the pulled pork protein bowl with the Kansas City Sauce. The team that works here are friendly and helpful. And the views of Zion are a bonus. I highly recommend! read more

Lunch at the goat today. First let me say I start to judge a BBQ place by the aroma as I approach - this had not smelled of a smoker or BBQ, but we pressed on. Vgood and fast service. Kinda like a deli counter. We ordered a protein bowl with KC sauce, for the tanginess, and a pulled pork sandwich. Both meals were tasty and flavorful. Worthy of 4 stars. Definitely doesn't feel like the meat was smoked here. But if you have a hankering for BBQ not a bad place to try. read more

We came here because someone in our party was craving some bbq. Little did we know the food was mainly out of a turbo chef oven. Expensive for what you get. We ordered to go, placing a large group order. When we got there they tried to package it all together instead of group by group as the order stated. Not worth it in my opinion. read more

I got the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend got the brisket sandwich, both came with a dill pickle. I also got the mac and cheese side. My pulled pork was disappointingly dry. The brisket sandwich was infinitely better and that's what I would recommend! I didn't get it due to bad reviews but it was mouthwatering. The Mac and cheese was a pass, not that good. read more

For our first trip to Utah and Zion, the Hangry Goat was a perfect spot after a day in the park. I had the pulled pork sandwich, it was delicious. The pork was soft and moist, not overly sauced. My kids loved the Mac and Cheese. My wife really enjoyed the BBQ chicken bowl along with the potato salad. I will definitely eat here again. read more

Took the family to this spot after 13+ miles of hiking from the past 2 days. The staff were very friendly and helped us pick out the bowls that matched our needs. I had the Brisket bowl with KC BBQ and Chipotle ranch sauces and the family had the carnivore Mac & cheese bowl, and the chicken bowls. We all agreed the food was so good that we could eat it everyday. Will definitely be going here again. read more

Turned us from hangry goats to angry goats. this place is such a rip off. $15 bbq sandwiches which is literally just buns from the store, bland meat and side of bbq sauce. $15 protein bowls made with rice , canned black beans, canned corn. do not trust the 5 star reviews. they only have 5 star reviews because you get a free sticker if you write them a review and show it to them. shout out to the business owner tho, you sure know how to make your money ripping off tourists. read more

Decent, quick meal on a hiking day. The brisket was fattier than I like, but fine. They have brisket, pulled pork, or chicken. The bowl is great hiking fuel--lots of black beans, with a little rice and quinoa, and some corn which we didn't live in the bowl. More drink options would be nice--it's really just fountain soda. We had a great time at the Hangry Goat. Very polite staff and the food was delicious. You couldn't have a more beautiful view while you eat too. There is limited seating under the patio (only 4 tables) but chairs lined up facing the mountains. Oooof. Not the best first experience at The Hangry Goat... The kid who made the breakfast sandwich was wearing a baggy hoodie and it kept touching the food...We tried to say something but he was completely unaware. We asked if we could fill our water bottles and he accidentally filled them with iced tea. The sandwich wasn't great. It wasn't bad but I think we would've been happier getting fast-food breakfast. However, the vibe is pretty fantastic. So despite the less-than-positive service, we still enjoy the views. read more

There is indoor and outdoor seating but definitely try to eat outside. The view is so beautiful. The menu was pretty varied from tacos, sandwiches, burgers and meats. The drink menu was good too with lots of different draft beers and cocktails. We had the crispy Brussel sprouts -so good! The beer battered shrimp tacos on corn tortilla was really good and came with chips. Do try the "dirty soda"--vanilla root beer, coconut cream and lime. Loved it. We actually had to reorder it because they initially forgot to add the roasted corn and black beans. If a server had been available, this could have been addressed immediately. Instead, I had to go up to the counter, wait for someone, and then let them know about the order issue. Even after it was remade, there was simply too much lettuce, and for the price, it really isn't worth it. Service-wise, I was frustrated by having to tip before even being served. Additionally, the staff never checked on us during our meal to see if everything was good or to refill our water. I'm torn between a 3-star and a 4-star review because service means everything, especially in this day and age where everything is outrageously expensive.
