Cards sold: 9/29/25…read more I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Collectibles N Stuff. It has been over two months since I sold my cards to them, and I still haven't received the full payment I was promised. This is absolutely unacceptable! The lack of communication is infuriating; I have tried repeatedly to get in touch, only to be met with silence. Every time I'm assured that I'll receive a call or text on a specific date, it never happens. It's like they're just stringing me along! I have a contract that outlines exactly when my payment was supposed to be made, and it feels like they are completely disregarding it. If they couldn't fulfill the payment, they should have never taken my cards in the first place. This is a total disappointment and utter disrespect from a business! I sold cards with them before, and everything went smoothly, which is why I recommended this store to everyone I knew looking to sell product. Unfortunately, this transaction did not go the same way. I guess it's my fault for trusting someone to fulfill a contract, but I expected better. Update: 1/7/26 I've visited the shop multiple times to speak to AJ, hoping to resolve ongoing issues regarding payment for my cards. Each time, I leave with empty promises about receiving money on a specific date. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone and messages, I've been met with silence, forcing me to return to the shop repeatedly. After reviewing the binder of cards I sold when I've had to go to the shop, I noticed that nearly 95% of them have been sold, yet I still haven't received the payment we agreed upon in our contract. This situation is baffling and incredibly frustrating. I will continue to update this review as things progress, but I urge potential customers to be cautious. It's disheartening to feel ignored and undervalued as a customer. Update: 3/5/26 Since my last update on this review, I was in contact with AJ, who I genuinely like as a person. He assured me that I would receive my payment within a week, which was over a month ago. While I've received some payments, the majority remains outstanding. What's more concerning is the complete lack of communication from them. It's been over a month since I last heard from anyone at the shop, and I've been left in the dark about my remaining balance. I understand that times are tough, but there are obligations that a company has to uphold regarding contracts and payments. I feel I would be much less agitated by the situation if I could just get a response. The lack of transparency and communication is alarming, and the delays in payment have caused significant frustration. Update: 5/4/26 Since my last update, there hasn't been much change in my situation. I have received some payments, but the last one was on March 22nd. Since then, I've attempted to reach out regarding a settlement on April 13th for a reduced amount owed, but I have yet to receive any response after they said no to the settlement amount. I strongly urge everyone planning on doing business with them to be very cautious. Update: 5/13/26 Last week, I was informed about a payment that was supposed to be sent to me, but I still haven't received it. I was told that if I continued to update my review, they would have their agent remove my post. It's clear they are not receptive to honest negative feedback. I wouldn't have to express my concerns if they simply took responsibility for their commitments and contracts. I reached out yesterday to ask about the payment and mentioned that I might need to escalate this issue to receive the remainder of what is owed to me. Instead of a helpful response, I was told that I'm "annoying." This is not the level of professionalism I expect from a business. I even offered to take store credit for the amount owed to simplify matters, but once again, I was left without a response.

It's a shame because there are so few good stores in this area. I went to all of them today and didn't find one that was a strong comic book store. If you like certain collectibles, you'll find a lot here, but if you're looking for comic books (which this store is listed) then you might be disappointed. SELECTION: Definitely packed full of product but I find that these types of stores in the end don't do well because product that doesn't sell sits on the shelves so long they gather dust. Not focused enough. And the comic wall isn't well stocked. SERVICE: Helpful in explaining why there isn't a lot in stock but too bad because this place has lots of potential. In a waning market this is the most well positioned store to do well. If they only did an ordering service, it would likely solve some of their problems. COST: Reasonable but not exceptional. Instead of going the collectibles route (I would definitely have collectibles but not the fad kind), I would go the comic book / gaming / sports card route. Card collectibles are of high value and take up so very little space. Funkos are great, but to give them shelf space they aren't worth it.

Owner definitely has an issue that needs to be resolved immediately. As for the contents of the store, it sadly left a lot to be desired. Comics were not sorted alphabetically on the shelves, older guy sitting behind the counter made it clear he did not want to be bothered, and some of the merchandise was WAY TOO expensive. I understand he has a shop in the Del Monte Shopping Center so renting the space can be pricey, but $30 for a "normal" Funko Pop that isn't a Chase, or special edition, is just plain ridiculous. Hot Topic on the other side of the shopping center had the exact same Funko Pop for $11.90 My partner found a cool Batman graphic novel, but by that point I felt like I was gonna be sick due to the mold smell, so I had to leave. I hope the owner can get their priorities straight, and take care of the store before someone does get sick.

I can't say much for TCGs, but every time I'm in the shop, there is always some activity with trading/selling or games being played on the handful of tables set up in the shop. My son and I have been RC customers here for nearly a year and the owner (Michael) and crew are friendly and willing. There is a good selection of popular ARRMA, Losi, Axial and Traxxas vehicles and just about every single new release is in the shop within a few days. There is a curated collection of popular race vehicles behind the counter as well as Kyosho Mini-Z and handful of more specialized brands that only enthusiast hobbyist would even know about like Xpress, MST, and Corally to name a few. There is a small selection of planes and helicopters, and I've been able to have the shop order kits that are more obscure and have it be available within a week or so. I've found the prices to be the same as what is advertised on larger online retailers like Horizon Hobby, A-Main, or Tower Hobbies; Hobby Addicts does have a loyalty program, so I do appreciate that the business understands your patronage is important to them. More importantly, every dollar spent at a local business ends up within the community, so come on out and support your local hobby shop!

His honesty made us feel comfortable about what we needed to purchase and was very welcoming to the RC community, by welcoming us back to tryout the facility they have there, which was pretty dope. As a Noob, it could be very intimidating walking into a store full of equipment and not knowing what to get. My wife and I felt none of that, as we were helped with great service and left knowing that I'll be coming back for parts later. The indoor track and "crawl park" (if that's what it's called), was very impressive and the atmosphere was welcoming along with the patrons that were there. Spend your money here if you're looking for great knowledge & service as well as a place to run your RC.

A Christmas Review Story…read more.. I went here to find gifts for boys ranging from 5-23yo. I came out with a perfect haul of more than just stocking stuffers. NorCal has a wide range of gifts that are hobby grade toys. They're not your typical Target/Walmart toys but a little better quality for not much more. I love the selection here. Service is key for hobby stores. NorCal excelled today as I was a little unsure how some of these hot wheels looking cars work. A man with Xmas lights necklace came out and showed how fun they can be. A 1:43 scale car can drift right out of the box! One dude started showing off a tiny RC drone, and another was busy helping a customer on RC parts. I don't know how they can staff so many people but they sure did today. Although I was expecting each gift item to be around $50 for each gift, there were some really cool micro gifts like remote control hot wheels for about $25. Last year I bought some RC warbird planes for about $100 each. I didn't see them this time around but that's ok. I want to give a proper review outside of Xmas shopping. I'll return when I'm ready to upgrade my Traxxas truck.
