A VERY DANGEROUS place for serious Oakley fans. For the past year I have gathered quite the collection of Oakley sunglasses, and have usually bough them via Sunglass hut. I was always tempted to buy them online, but never did out of fear that I wouldn't like it if I couldn't touch them. Happened to stop buy about a week ago and as I walked in it was paradise! although they did not have the glasses I was looking for, one of the cashiers Scott (who I assume was the store manager) was very helpful after I tried on almost every pair, was able to customize a pair of suntro's. They arrived in the mail today and I am very satisfied with my purchase and the customer service that I received. If I ever need another pair of sunglasses I will pop in and will continue to business with them, I highly recommend. read more

I love love this store!! I'm so glad gilroy finally added this to there outlets. Great items always a few weeks ahead for the season, just got some summer gear like board shorts, bikinis, shades, flip-flops. The sales associate have great customer services skills are very helpful, if you don't see a size or color they will check there back stock for you. Very friendly and cheerful ;) great job! I arrived before closing to see if they had a sweater. I showed up to a locked door and employees telling me that they weren't going to open before 9:00pm Disappointing to find the store not following hours of operation. If you don't want to open until 9:00pm you should just close the doors at 8:00pm. read more

Found a great deal on a shirt and now I will check in here when I'm around this area. Like that this is a quiet part of the outlet mall and located next to some of my favorite stores. read more

I love this place. Even thought it is an outlet the people here are great and quite helpful. I got the best sunglasses here and they gave me a discount for signing up with their program. I got my glasses for 30% off the regular price because if the coupon I received in the mail from them. It came out to be a little over. $200 which is great price for an Oakley! read more

This Oakley is like a hidden gem, because it's not in the main plazas. Oakley has been in this location for 2 years (It's near Denny's & in the Ginger Cafe plaza). This is probably the best Oakley Vault I've been too. They have tons of great clothing and glasses for cheappp! And compared to the other Oakley locations, the staff really knows their product. They aren't the annoying workers who keeps bothering their customers every 3 minutes to see if we're okay. They will give you space and help you when you need it. read more

Walking around waiting for my truck to be finished at America's Tire and walked into the Oakley store. Greeted with a tremendous smile by young lady who came quickly to see if there was anything she can help me with. Started looking at sunglasses and having a great conversation I found some sunglasses I like. Everyone in the store treated me great and greeted me with a smile said thank you for coming in and when I left everyone said thank you for your business. So completely irritated right now. I called yesterday to find out if they replace lenses on a pair of sunglasses my husband owns. They do, and they have what we need in stock. Awesome. I go there today to get them replaced and try to open the door and it's locked. Completely confused, I see the employees laughing as I look at my watch, 1115Am, they should be open. No one comes to the door to explain anything, and I've got my toddler and baby in tow. Not exactly easy errand companions. So I try calling. Again and again. No answer. I look at their website to check the time that they open, maybe I made a mistake? Nope, says they open up at ten am. There's no sign, and there's a ton of employees, so I knock to see what is going on. I really don't want to drive to San Jose to get these things fixed. An employee says they're closed and that they're registers aren't up. Ok I get that, but could you have explained that to me or picked up the phone when I called? Instead of laughing at me while I'm standing outside your store? Then some lady comes (I presume to be some management position) and explains that they've relocated and they've worked overnight to change locations. I told her I get that, but when I spoke to someone YESTERDAY about coming in, why on earth would you not let me know that you may or may not be opening tomorrow? She apologized and when I asked her what time they might open, she said maybe the afternoon. I told her it was very unprofessional to not have at the very least a sign saying that they're not open yet and not to tell people when they say they're coming in that, hey we're going to be possibly closed when you told me you'd be here. I wouldn't be so annoyed and irritated if there was something informing the public there temporary closed status, and if their employees would try to at least be professional. It is a job. Update: they've put a sign up saying they'll be open tomorrow. Not even the manager was right in when they'd open. Awful customer service. read more

They used to have more stock when they were on the C side of GPO. Now they're located on the D side, which is further off compared to the other wings. You won't know it's there unless you pick up a directory. read more

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm an Oakley fanboy. I have Oakley EVERYTHING. I normally shop at the Oakley Store in SF and Santana Row, and sometimes go to the vault at the Great Mall and here to Gilroy. I've always experienced good service, and helpful knowledgeable reps. This time was an exception. I went yesterday to Gilroy--two of the employees were terrible! They lied a few times and I actually knew more about the products than they did. When we asked about the possibility of prescription lenses, the manager said that we should buy the frames first from his store (Gilroy Vault) and then take them to Santana Row because they didn't have the BOGO50off promo. Well this was totally false--they have the same promo at Santana Row, he just lied to make the sale. This among other lies. I expected more from Oakley based on prior good experiences. read more
