While they had a lot of cute merchandise and furniture, a store associate very rudely approached my family when we were testing out some chairs and basically shooed us out. She rudely told us that it wasn't a toy as if implying that I couldn't afford their merchandise that we were testing. If customers can't even test the furniture you sell, perhaps you shouldn't sell furniture. It was the most condescending interaction I've ever had in a store. That associate should definitely not work in customer service. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she was an Asian associate. There are many ways she could have approached us, but she decided to choose violence by attacking my children. We saw a lot of stuff we liked and were going to purchase them, including the chair, but after her rude interaction with us, we decided to go to Home Goods and shop instead where my business is welcome. What a way to run customers out the door. If this isn't a family friendly store, perhaps put a big sign at the door that says "NO KIDS". Ridiculous...While I shouldn't base my review of an establishment solely on the voice of just one worker, sales associates serve as the face and voice of a business.

The Sephora employee named Sabrina needs to lower her attitude or maybe get some more sleep. When I…read morewalked into the Sephora store, I was excited to purchase a perfume or two, as a huge family event was up and coming within a few days. But, instead of being treated and asked if I was looking for something in specific, I was greeted with a smudge, harsh stare, hazy, uninteresting look on Sabrina's face. As soon as I saw this, I swiftly turned back to the entrance and exited. Instead, I sped over to the nearest Ulta beauty and was met with real professionals that know how to cater their customers and atleast look somewhat pleasant. Needless to say, I will not be going back nor recommending this Kohls or Sephora to any friends, family, or even strangers, thanks to Sabrina.

When I tried to redeem the Kohls cash (that expired the previous day) at time of purchase, I was met with hostility. After the associates clarified the new policy, the associate snatched the coupon from my hand and stated per "policy" they HAD to dispose of it. I did not appreciate this response, so I asked for it back but they were adamant about tossing it out. I asked why it mattered whether they or I threw it out and was met with silence and handed back the coupon. This experience was so ridiculous that I had to call customer service and report (which is something I NEVER do). Hopefully this odd behavior isn't a usual occurrence for others.

The Lululemon is still there, but in a different spot than my last visit. The new location seems bigger now and they have a great selection of men's and women's fits. Another favorite is Nike, which has two different locations in the outlets. They also have other clothing brands, some newer toys and collectable stores, Bath and Body Works, a popcorn store and many other spots. They used to have a Jelly Belly outlet, but I didn't see it on my last visit, and they also used to have Starbucks. There is now a sushi restaurant in one of the business plazas, and there were food trucks selling different items as well. I noticed that while you'll still find some great deals at stores the savings also isn't what it used to be. It'll take some extra searching to get a really good deal, but depending on how often you visit you may get luckier. There's plenty of parking available and if you look at the directory and see stores that are worth it to you, check it out.

Nonetheless, when my girlfriend went to Livermore on Monday before Thanksgiving, it was packed. We came here on Wednesday and it was nearly deserted despite having much of the same stores and discounts as Livermore. It is definitely less walkable than Livermore, requiring you to cross the street to get between various plazas. But it is a great way to get 90% of the shopping experience for 50% of the stress.
