Came in to buy some pants, I was able to only find one pair that fit after searching through their whole inventory. I checked to see if I could find a hat but again to no avail. "Very limited hat sizes" I also tried to find some boots but the employee that was helping started getting pushy "she was picking out the boots for me to buy, finally I told her if I was going to make a investment on boots I needed more time to think about it, it's unfortunate because if she was patient I probably would have found a pair that I liked. I had such a such a good experience shopping for boots with my toddler ( 4yrs old), at Ariat in Gilroy. Kevin, who was incredibly kind and patient, really went above and beyond to help us find the perfect pair. He made the whole process so much easier, especially when my toddler was a bit of a handful. I really appreciated his calm and friendly demeanor. It turned what could have been a stressful outing into a good and memorable one. This Ariat store is located at the Gilroy outlets, so we had to stop in and take a look. They have a verity of men's and woman's clothing, belts, and you guessed it, boots. They have good size selection of boots for men women, and kids. They even carry wedding cowgirl boots which are beautiful. One had pearls and the other had a cut out design. The prices re reasonable considering the quality you are getting. These boots are very well made and will last. read more

We (me and my boyfriend) came into this store not expecting anything at all. We just wanted to come in, do a quick browse and walk right back out. Until.... we met Irvin and Jonathan! This is by far the best experience I've had at any store, ever! I've shopped at stores ranging to designer and the experience does not compare to anything. In this store we came across the infamous Mexico New Team Softshell Jacket that has been ridiculously hard to track down for retail price. My cousin (not present at the store) and I have had this on our wishlist. Since they did not have her size in women's, Irvin was beyond kind to undress the mannequin and dress it with a men's jacket. All this just so I could take pictures and send to my cousin in order to give her a better idea of fitting. And why did Irvin volunteer to do this? Because he is awesome. In addition to the wonderful experience we had with Irvin, the store had great discounts on boots. Jonathan who helped us was so patient when we kept asking for different sizes in different styles. He never once looked bothered or annoyed by our requests. And when a size was not available, he always apologized. This was the cherry on top of this shopping experience. I purchased a pair of pants for my daughter. When I got home I realized they were defective, missing a pocket rivet. I called them, no problem send back they will ship me another pair, they verified they had another pair. I shipped the defective pair back, at my expense ($12), they received them, after 10 days I called to find out where my exchange was, they said they'd notify me by Tuesday (the guy who dealt with me was off), and no call no pants another week later!!! Really???will not do business with them again! Thank god I put it on my credit card because easily disputed and resolved by credit card company. 11/2 still no response from Ariat! read more

BEST DEALS ON BOOTS!!! Must stop at Ariat before going to Boot Barn.... LOVE shopping at this new store! The staff are SO kind, wonderful and helpful! You seriously feel like you're not in California, the employees are SO nice especially the gentlemen in the Cowboy hats ;)) This store also has a great selection on western wear!! The executives of Ariat knew Morgan Hill, Gilroy are where all the horse people are.They are all living in Morgan Hill!! All of us went in to buy boots, coats, everything we needed and the young man, Gerard, is the one to see for boots!! we all came in for boots and he was so knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with each one of us to get the right fit ... and we all left happy!!
