It's a spacious store with clothes in the front and shoes shelves in the back. They have final racks from last season's clothing line. There's various sales across the store on mostly everything. I happened to be in Gilroy on Saturday morning, so decided to stop by this Nike outlet. Great selection of shoes! Very spacious store. Larger aisles than the Nike store at the Great Mall. I was really happy with my new running shoes! I am a huge fan of Nike shoes (especially their Revolution line of running shoes), and stumbled upon the Revolution 7 in a nice dusty cactus color. YES!! Dusty cactus, aka their fancy name for turquoise :) Haha. I also tried on a few other pairs but this one had the most cushion & bounce. When I checked out, the cashier was friendly. And of course at this location, parking is right outside the store so very little walking required. Haha. I walk in and a guy giving Nike bags to people walking in, handed me a bag but I said no thanks. I then was trying out shoes and the same guy hunts me down and insisted I have a bag. I took it and said thanks. I didn't find anything for me so as I walk out with the bag another guy starts screaming "can we have our bag back?" But I kept walking because I barely heard him. Great stop for sneaker lovers! The Nike Factory Outlet in Gilroy is packed with a huge selection of gear--tons of merch, and an impressive variety of shoes ranging from name brand Jordans to retro Air Force 1s, many of which were on sale. I scored a pair of olive green retro Air Jordans, and my wife picked up some low-cut Air Force 1s along with a solid pair of running shoes. It's easy to get carried away here with all the choices. The only downside is that it's tough to find help on a busy Saturday, but the staff at checkout were friendly and got us taken care of quickly. Overall, great store and great finds. Service was a 10/10, I was asked if I needed help by every employee who walked passed me. Selection is kind of hit and miss. I was happy to see some drops from the sneakers app there. Some had not been released yet. I guess members who get early access from certain releases if they return them to the store they are up for grabs. I saw some satin Jordan 1s but they were too small. Terrible store and atmosphere to be in. I only go to return the defective shoes that Nike sends out. Lately I've given up buying any shoes online, leave that crap to resellers. There used to be lines out the door, crowds all the time and cheery employees, but this has changed drastically over the past year. They never have any inventory - nothing that Nike is known for, Air Maxes, dunks, jordans, this store doesn't even carry Air force 1s. Just a bunch of beat up blazers. And if you are lucky enough to find something the store employees seem rude about selling to you. Not to mention every time I might see something the prices are a dice roll, they never reflect the price on the box. The last time I remember buying anything from this store was over a year ago on a pair of Jordan 3 (patchwork) at 220.00$ (retail) - and the shoes had some defects and didn't come with a box. I remember how happy I was finding them, laughing it up with another customer, that was until I walked up to pay and greeted with nothing but discontent. The best time to arrive here is when they first open, that way you avoid the crowds. Customer service is hit or miss, some days it's amazing and others it's not so great. We picked up two pairs of shoes for our 5 year old and a toy soccer ball he saw in a bin while waiting in line to be checked out. They had a special going on right now - if you spend $100 you earn $25 dollars, if you spend $200 you earn $50 dollars to spend in January 2019. Just be sure you have a rewards account open so you can earn this credit. The prices aren't the cheapest but it doesn't matter so much because they are good quality shoes. We spent about $120 dollars today. We will definitely be back in January 2019 to spend our $25 credit. If you're looking for shoes or athletic wear this is a one stop shop. When you walk into this place, it is similar to a treasure hunt. Staff members are somewhat helpful, but you are better off hunting alone. They have a decent selection of shoes, apparel, and accessories sold at your typical outlet prices. Keep in mind that the shoes they stock are not the latest styles, but they still have a wide selection to choose from. Pay attention to items that have signage for additional discounts. This is where you can really cash in! If you browse their clearance racks, this is another opportunity for you to nab items at nearly 60% off. Again, you may find something you've been eyeing for a while, or you may find nothing at all. The last few times I've visited this place, I walked away empty handed. No knock on the staff or the store, there was just nothing that really caught my eye. Conclusion: This place is hit or miss, but worth the visit if you are a Nike fanatic! Weekends are chaotic, but showing up before Noon is advised. Went in to Skechers for my normal flops, but they didn't have any. We had the good sense to walk down to Nike. Upon entrance and a quick glance, I saw a lot of tennis/running shoes, but not any sandals. Afterall, the season is over. I like the flops that you slide your entire foot in, with a piece of material wrapping from left to right - not the kind you insert between your big and middle toe. Ha, I'm sure there are names for both of them, but I don't recall. I could probably go downstairs and just look at the receipt, but I'm not going to do that. You should get the image. In any case I walked up to a sales rep, Emily, and she pointed me in the right direction. I asked for the shoe in Women and Men. Eventually I would find the one I wanted in the Women's section. When we went into the line to pay, it was super quick. Before you know it, I was at the register. Not only was she working the foor, but now Emily was a cashier. I thanked her for her friendly and courteous service. The shoes I wanted didn't have a price tag, but I decided to try my luck. Fortunately Emily knew to look in the underside of the flap and was able to get the price, $7.99. That was awesome. She was also stock person for a moment too because she checked to see if they had another pair of the same shoe. Worst experience ever. I went shopping yesterday to this location. First of all the staff here is very rude and unprofessional. While i was checking out the lady was speaking to me in a tone where it says "hurry up" as i was asking questions about prices being displayed and ringing up. As i was leaving passing the front counter i slipped and fell. Not one worker checked if i was okay or to even help me up. In a real professional setting you always have to go and check at least ask if the customer is okay. The store was dirty having a lot of trash on the floor. Upon entering the store it was extremely busy and we had a hard time of enjoying our shopping experience. The store was beyond packed with shoppers. I wanted to purchase shoes for my daughters and I could not even access the isle for children.
