Employees inside could see me knocking and trying to get their attention - but I was ignored. I was finally able to get the attention of the associate that helped me with my check out... he told me they were not allowed to open the door. After several walks up and down the aisle he found it. But again said they couldn't open the door. Manager could tell I was upset, and hesitated to unlock the door (was just single bolt lock). She unlocked the door finally and took multiple pictures of my phone and needed my ID (even after we were able to unlock the phone and showed her we had access to everything with passcodes). Not sure what the big deal is with unlocking the door. I told her if there was an emergency that's a pretty scary policy to not be able to unlock the main door. Still daylight... won't be shopping here again. Something so simple turned into a 30minute ordeal.

It's a score when we can find it in the outlets. It doesn't always happen, but since fall shoes are being stocked we thought we would find it. As soon as we walked in, Alex asked us if we were looking for anything in particular. I told her the name of the model of shoe and she said that she didn't think that they had it. She helped us search around, and also took it upon herself to Google the model so she could be sure. She then proceeded to let us know that the shoe sometimes comes in and if we wanted to leave our name and number so she could call us when it did. Wow!!! Before checking out, I went to the website and saw they were 20% off and were $84. I thought that was interesting. I showed this to the employee, but he couldn't honor that price. So I left and will probably order them online with free shipping. Be careful when shopping here at the outlet store. Always check the prices on the Skechers website to see if you are really getting a good deal.

The service is impeccable, they measure both feet, supply you with special slip on " nylons" they even put them on for you. Wifey was considering 3 different pairs of sandals, the lady took her time to have her walk in all 3 pairs then once "wifey" figured out the style she liked the lady brought out 3 different colors for wifey to choose from and put one color on each foot so she could compare them while wearing them "now that's service" Wifey bought a pair "see pictures" along with some special cleaner that gets rid of the dark brown sweat color that happens over time on the leather. She actually tried the product on her old crusty pair of sandals, honestly I was surprised how well the product works her old sandals look almost new again, I am totally impressed with the product. One last thing: if you give them your phone number and email they give you a discount, with the discount her sandals cost $205.16 including the cleaner and tax. Honestly I think that's an incredibly price considering it takes about eight hours to make one pair of shoes because they are all hand made!

It's a spacious store with clothes in the front and shoes shelves in the back. They have final racks from last season's clothing line. There's various sales across the store on mostly everything. The staff are nice and friendly when they greeted me in the store and asked if I had any questions while window shopping. Good store experience!

I was really happy with my new running shoes! I am a huge fan of Nike shoes (especially their Revolution line of running shoes), and stumbled upon the Revolution 7 in a nice dusty cactus color. YES!! Dusty cactus, aka their fancy name for turquoise :) Haha. I also tried on a few other pairs but this one had the most cushion & bounce. When I checked out, the cashier was friendly. And of course at this location, parking is right outside the store so very little walking required. Haha. The Gilroy outlets are overall nice, if you happen to be that far south of the Bay Area.

I used to own a pair of Sunjun sandals eons ago and was surprised to see that they still carry it!…read more It's outdated now but they were very comfortable. Surprisingly, they didn't have any in my size in the color I was looking for, so it must still sell well. Found a new pair of sandals in a more contemporary style which hubby says was less "old lady" looking. Shoes were 50% off one pair or buy 1 and get 2 pairs free (lesser priced ones were free). They're better made than the popular flip-flops which I find don't offer enough arch support or toe protection because they're too thin. Bass offers one of those free cards now where you register and it accumlates points (like a Safeway card) towards discounts on purchases, if you're really into Bass shoes and products.
