First time shopping here at this Levi's location! It's a lot bigger than the location in Santana Row and Milpitas location. It was busy since they have big sales from 40-60% off from their winter line. I managed to find a nice Henley top but in XL. I went to try it on in a fitting room but it wasn't a fit. It was a good experience since the worker was quick and nice in checking me in/out of the fitting room. They have lots of clearance racks in case you're looking for a good deal on a well-known brand. They had a good selection of all of their styles of jeans. Probably only had a few colors in each style but we still found what we wanted. We thought we liked 501s but decided on the 511s instead. Great place to try all the styles so you can find your favorite. The staff were friendly & helpful. Dressing room was for everyone with separate doors to changing rooms and 2 big mirrors in the main part. The prices are great. This place is a sh!t show on weekends loaded with people from other countries pushing and shoving to buy products with popular logos regardless of quality. So it's easier to buy during the week. That being said, you're on your own about product information. When I asked how much shrinkage, the girl said "they'll shrink and then laughed at me when I told her I need numbers. She found someone else to ask and held up a completely different item and was asking the other person if it would shrink. I asked this "expert" how much shrinkage I could expect on the pair in my hands and was told to wash cold and not use the dryer. Wrong answer. When I insisted about the original question the answer changed to "not as much as the 501 but like THIS MUCH n the waist" as she held up her thumb and index finger representing the amount. Seriously? What kind of answer is that? They don't know anything so you'll need to do research. They're a bunch of useless order takers. If Levi's is going too use ignorant clerks, how about documentation in the store? read more

The girls working the dressing rooms are like Jedi's of Levi's if you don't like what you tried on they're very patient and ask you was it the style or the size and they will run to go get you another pair or how you find a jean that's right for you we totally loved all the attention and explanation of the different sizes and styles of the jeans my daughter my husband myself and my son all walked out with awesome jeans that we were happy with that's it right! I saw some of the reviews on Yelp but I had a positive experience maybe it had to do with us coming on a Sunday and we were there right at 10:00 and so there weren't a lot of shoppers but it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely come back!!!! read more

I came in on a Wednesday afternoon & while browsing a lady of Caucasian descent with short hair approached me twice asking if I needed help. The second time she approached she turned to look at my shoe palace bag & some jeans I had in my other hand I had picked out. A few seconds after she left another employee approached me asking if I needed help. After that I put the jeans down. I stayed for a while only to see if they were asking anyone else for help. In the time I was there I was the only person approached. I was approached 3 times! Very disappointed. I feel discriminated against. Stereotyped. This was a very unpleasant experience. It was my first time coming into this location. I was helping my grandfather find a specific style at the Levi store. So I asked the first person that I saw available if she had a certain jacket available, and with a lot of Attitude she told me that they didn't have it available when I was about to ask her if they had any other similar styles she walked away. (I didn't get her name but she was wearing a maroon shirt) We eventually found a different style. When we were about to check out my grandfather decided he wanted one more item Brenda was so nice and directed us to the style my grandfather wanted. My favorite cuts in the right length! My favorite jeans are the 311 and the 721. I found them here for only $39.99 a pair if you buy two. I also found three pairs in my favorite rinse for $19.99, so I bought all three and will hem the legs to fit. Also got my dude a pair of 501 jeans; they had a wide selection of sizes and colors in that line. Levi's has been among one of the most inconsistent brands in terms of sizing. I often have to order extra size options to ensure I get the right waist and length fit because the inseam descriptions are frequently wrong by several inches. I wish I had known sooner that my favorite jeans were available at the outlet - I would have been here a long time ago! The merch here seemed more consistent than what I've ordered online -- maybe they're improving consistency? Levi's cotton shirts are also well made and last a long time. I love their plaid shirts, but wish they weren't so western themed. Great customer service and the shopping floor was clean and well organized. The dressing room was large but kind of gross with poor lighting, a lot of lint, and dingy mirrors. Not enough to subtract a star, but still noticeable. read more

The Levi's Outlet Store at the Gilroy outlets is pretty much exactly what you expect it to be. It has a fairly wide selection of Levi's apparel -- belts, shoes, shirts, jackets and, of course, jeans -- at prices lower than what are found at most stores. The employees seemed helpful. We were approached by employees (rather than the other way around) who explained some of the store's product availability. That was a refreshing change. I really like the Levi's 569 style and cut. Unfortunately, the store only had three or four styles of the jeans in the main selection with two or three more in the discount/clearance section (located near the fitting rooms). Thankfully, there is always enough individual variation with each particular color/style to find one that is a bit more appealing than the other. Still, the prices were great. Most of the time, the best prices found online are at Amazon. However, all of the jeans found here were cheaper than what are found on Amazon. Whereas Amazon or other online retailers are somewhat hit-or-miss in terms of sizing (I've purchased size 31 wastes that were too big and size 33 that were tight), you can actually try on the jeans here. I recommend visiting the store and buying things other than just jeans/pants. There are some remarkable deals on shirts, shoes and jackets. If you're searching for a particular style of Levi's jeans with a quality that doesn't cut corners (ala jeans found at Costco or Sam's), then you should give this store a try! read more

One might ask, how can an outlet store earn only one star? This is only possible due to a couple of issues. 1. Selection. It was limited, to say the least. If you needed jeans for children, good luck finding what you need. This is problematic as I was hoping to buy my wee little nephew some stylish jeans for his upcoming birthday. Sadly, not possible. 2. Price. I know that by definition, outlets sell products "often at a discount price," not always. That is fair. However, when they are having a sale that requires buying multiple pairs of jeans, one might think that sale would be for less than many stores in my neighborhood. I can find Levi's cheaper at two or three stores (that I know of) in my city, with no hassle whatsoever. Had I been in the area FOR Levis, compared to the Vans I wanted, I would have been devastated. There were quite a lot of people in the store but service reps were friendly and responsive. The fitting room staff was courteous and made the fitting and selecting process a nice experience as well. So it was shaping up to be a 4/5 star experience, which is why I always return to Levi's to shop. But things took a turn for the worse when I tried to actually pay for things.. Gilroy outlets has special coupons for frequent shoppers and I tried using the Levi's store coupon from my mobile, all the while logged into my premium outlet VIP account. The register staff took a long look at what it says and had to refer to a colleague in the next checkout counter. That man beside her barely looked up, and said no u have to print out the coupon. Another fellow staff just shook her head. So no one bothered to tell me straight in the face that I had to print out the coupon where I would have pointed out the absurdity of it all considering that it doesn't say I had to print out anything, only that I had to present it. In comparison, the info center, Carter's, tommy & polo Ralph all were fine with the mobile coupon. My guess was that this was at the "discretion" of Levi's to go against whatever promo premium outlets decided to offer to shoppers by making their coupons accessible on mobile devices to make things more convenient for shoppers and to care more for the environment. Clearly, Levi's doesn't really care much about honoring coupons, the environment or making things better for customers. Nasty checkout staff & I have to rethink about spending more dollars at Levi's. I don't think I want to go through this again. My kids won't be frequenting Levi's stores like their dad did when they grow up. read more

I've never encountered a perfect style/fit of jeans for my body. I always just bought whatever 'looked cool', sometimes not even in the right size. Call it laziness, or maybe I just didn't care.But this past weekend I was determined to find the best set of jeans for me, so that I can just stick with that from now on. And I found that perfect size/fit here at Levis. They obviously have a huge selection of jeans here, both in fit and in size. I noticed that it was really hard to find my size at most of the stores around this outlet mall. Levis on the other hand had at least a few pairs in my size. There was great customer service here. I was asked by several workers if I need help and one guy even went in the back a few times to pull sizes for me. Lost a receipt for pants, but had proof of the transaction. The price of the pants dropped over the couple days I purchased them, so I was not able to get the full credit for them back, even though they found the 'receipt' in their system. However, duplicate receipts don't work the same way, fyi. All in all we decided to take the gift card. While going through this process, we suggested to the 'manager' they should change this policy resulting she made a rude remark saying, "All customers understand the policy and don't say anything about it because they read the policy." What does that have to do with a suggested change? Anyways we laughed at the remark and she decided to not give us the store credit. Though the jeans at the Levis Factory Outlet are more expensive that the nearby Costco, they have a complete selection of styles, colors and sizes. At checkout, the cashier asked why weren't we buying a 3rd paid of jeans. He explained that the total would only go up 10¢ plus the sales tax, due to that promotion that they were running. Not only that, if you go to the Premium Outlets main office to pick up a discount coupon book, you can save even more! Thanks for telling us about the promotion! I happened to leave the receipt at home 30 miles away...but offered my card to look up the transaction. The "manager" told me that wasn't possible then continued to ask the associate at the door if she saw me walk in with them. So now I was accused of stealing..great. Came back second time, with receipt AND tags. Again no refund because one of the 3 tags was not attached. Ridiculous. Love the jeans, had a rough time with a sales associates in the dressing room. One was shy and said nothing- so no one knew rooms were open. I asked the lady for a different size and it took her 10 minutes. She came back empty handed and said we don't have it. I asked what about in a different color this way I can at least order it. "Oh I didn't think of that" I asked can you please get me another color- she then proceeded to cover for her friend and helped customers into rooms. I finally said I'll go get them myself.
