AC stopped working , was not actually cooling. (Was same as outside temp in the house) I called and we were put on a wait list for the next day (fine , expected)anytime between 9-5 was our 'appointment '- they will call 45 mins to them showing up so you can get home, luckily the call came in after my BF was off work (2 in the afternoon), otherwise i would have had to burn a day at work. ****Biggest issue came with the bill.... Was quoted $109- for diagnostics(come out see what is wrong), the ACTUAL charge was $250- for the diagnostics- that is not to repair or replace anything! Just say something is wrong. Will not be back to this company and should've read more reviews, even though they came recommended from word of mouth. read more

I would post a ZERO rating if I could. So, I purchased my home in 2006 brand new, newly constructed therefore everything was new. My home was about ten years old when my furnace broke. I contacted Haller and they came out and charged me over $600 to replace the inducer motor. Then the tech recommended that I enroll in their monthly maintenance fee. This fee will pay for them to return to have them return annually to inspect the furnace. I agreed. I have been paying them a monthly fee for 4 years. Yesterday, I started hearing a loud humming noise coming from the same furnace they repaired in 2016. So I called Haller again since I was paying a monthly service fee and they sent out a tech. Low and behold, the tech, Jim Forry advised that the same inducer motor replaced in just 2016, had broken yet again. He now said the estimate for the same part is now $808 ( his $79 fee included). I need heat so I paid for the repair. After speaking with my son, later that evening, my son checked on the same exact part that they charged me for ($800) was available online with free shipping for just $248. I could not believe this. I have been bambozzled yet again by a company I trusted. Not to mention, the tech recommended that I invest in a new heating and AC system (even though the AC is not broken) and quoted me a estimate of $15,000. Really, for a 14 year old home. PPLEASE TAKE HEED AND RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! What I now know is, I will have them come out to diagnose the problem and maybe incur the cost of them diagnosing the problem but I will not trust them to complete the work. I will obtain a second estimate and possibly have the correct the problem. These people are horrible and have no conscience for constantly ripping off hard working people. read more

Let me start off by saying that I will NEVER use you again and will MOST CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMEND you to ANYONE! I called for a leak from upstairs bathroom into my kitchen. We were charged $79 to walk in the door. (understood beforehand) Then was told to continue, it would be $125/hr. to cut into ceiling to find the leak. We told him to do what he had to do because we needed it fixed. About 40 min. later (he estimated an hour which would explain why he disappeared to his van for like 15 min) we were told (and he stated on bill) he didn't "want" to cut into the floor and his advice to us was to call a "handyman." He also stated on the bill "the owner will get it open." (which we never said) He left our home, leak not fixed, and we are out $204. I thought he did a good job cleaning up until my Husband got up on a ladder to take a closer look and found the surprise mess left for us on top of the wet tiles of ceiling debris. As he tried to remove the tiles, said mess ended up all over my kitchen leaving me a HUGE mess to clean. I don't want to forget to mention the sharp dirty old saw blade that fell from our ceiling!!! Today, I am left at square one but now with a worse leak and having to pay someone else to come out. I understand you want paid for your "work" but I have been off work for a month now due to Covid19- we are a six person family on one income right now. So please try to understand MY FRUSTRATION when we were left to feel like we were given an excuse as to why he didn't feel like doing the job telling us to call a handyman. He did NOTHING for us and got charged $204! We did get a different plumber out here that agreed the last guy just didn't want to do it. The job was quickly done and we were charged less than what you charged you when you didn't even help us! read more

We had haller come in to look at a 3.5 year old hot water heater that was running out of hot water fast. Plumber came by and said it needed replaced due to internal leaks. Hot water heater was covered under warranty. We are 1st time home owners so we were not familiar with costs of hot water heaters. We had them replace it under warranty with a new one and paid 1080$ for 2 hrs of labor (that was the entire time they were here to diagnose problem, & complete replacement). After speaking with family members about what happened we were told there was no way we should have been charged 1000$ for 2 hrs of labor. I called other reputable local companies and was quoted 300-350 for labor cost of replacing a hot water heater. No other companies could justify hallers cost of 1000$ for 2 hrs of labor for something covered under warranty & all said it was ridiculous. I called haller back & spoke with their manager who refunded 250$ Of cost bringing it to 850$. That's still extremely high cost for labor for this. I believe that they charged us full price for a new hot water heater and install, then submitted claim to warranty and were paid by them as well. And if that's not the case, they are charging 450-500$ per hour for labor which is insane. I'm considering filing a complaint with the BBB. A hard, expensive lesson to learn as first time home owners. I should mention this was not our first experience with them as our builder worked with them to build our home. When we first moved into our home haller had to come out numerous times to fix mistakes they made when building out home. They had to replace outdoor spicket because they put the wrong one on and we couldn't hook a hose up, they did not correctly instal out kitchen faucet, leaving bolts loose, & had to come out and reinstall that, & we had extensive water damage to our 1st floor walls from a 2nd floor bathroom that did not have any caulking placed around a walk in shower. read more

These guys are criminal. They were to install a REMI unit which they didnt have enough of. They show up later when im not home -NO CALL OR ANY CONTACT . They show up at my residence and entered my house without my permission. They claim my 32-year-old son who is severe autistic let them in to install a remi unit. They could seriously recognize he wasn't of sound mind. Rather then call me they proceeded to enter my property then sent me a bill 3 months later claiming the work was completed. That was dec of 2020. I called them several time about this and spoke to 3 different mangers lol (they call them managers anyway- more like bodies whom fogged a mirror). About this issue thinking the conversation got through to them. They continue to send bills rather than address my issue. I dont know if the work was completed and of course my son who is still in the hosptial from that December from COVID of course wouldn't remember. Rather than discuss the issue they rather send it to a collection agency. I would stay as far away from Haller Enterprises as possible. Those who have that rip off program of theirs need to cancel that asap and save money to be used for a real service company. I wish we give zero star reviews. read more

Please, Please, Please listen to the reviews on this company. Especially, the one star reviews. Customer Service is non existent. I called them on Sunday 11/10 because I had no heat. I left a message stating I would be out till 3:00 pm. So what do they do, call me back around 2:00 pm. When I returned home I called them back. They acted as if I was speaking a foreign language when I said, I was returning their call for them to come look at my furnace. They just said, oh we have notified the technician. Monday came and I still had not heard anything. So I called again. Again I was told they would have the technician call me. Around 3:45 pm, I was in the basement doing wash, when they called left a message and said they had a technician about 15 minutes away but they were not going to dispatch him to my house unless they heard back from me. Only about 10 minutes had gone by when I returned their call Again, they acted as if I were speaking a foreign language. The lady assured me she would call me right back. That never happened. Finally, about an hour later the technician called to say he was 20 mins away and would be there soon. 45 minutes later he showed up now it's about 5:00 pm. After checking out the furnace he informed me of the cost and said I needed to pay 1/3 for them to order the part. He said, he didn't have a part in his truck and everything was now closed because it was after 5:00 pm. I told him what horrible service they were providing and he said, that's because I don't have a Service contract with them. Unfortunately, if you don't have that you get pushed to the bottom of the list. In any case he said he would be back the next day to take care of the issue. I waited around all day and heard nothing from them. Finally, around 4:00 pm I called and was told, my part was ordered but didn't come in today. I said, when were you going to tell me that? So, I am sitting around in a cold house and you don't care. I asked if they realize they only had a 2-1/2 rating. I said, you would think you would be doing better. I explained they weren't going to get any better rating from me because they are simply horrible. They lady said, someone should have called me and she's going to send a message. Well, if you hear of two elderly people frozen to death in their home. It's Haller's fault. Oh, they had the nerve to say I was an emergency case. Who ever heard of someone taking 3 days to fix an emergency problem. I wonder how long it would take them for a non-emergency. I will never use another company without reading the reviews. This was a hard lesson learned. I will never use them again. read more

Tom F Mechanicsburg I had Haller Enterprises install a Nest thermostat in my home. I bought it at Home Depot and they recommended Haller. Big mistake. They installed it on Feb. 22 of this year. I was away that afternoon and my wife paid the bill. I was interested in the new installation and didn't ask her how much she paid this guy. Later on, I started having problems with my thermostat, please don't buy one of these units, and I looked at the installation charge. They charged us $320. I thought they mistakenly charged us for the thermostat too. I called Haller and the lady said that was the correct charge. I asked her if that was an exorbitant fee and she just kept on talking. Then she asked me if I wanted to go on their maintenance program! Ain't no way I'm hooking up with this outfit. Can you imagine what they would charge for a big job. Very disappointed in their charges. Will never call again. read more

Make sure you look at everything before they leave or ask them to check the work area. Had someone cone out on a Saturday to clean out a sewer line clog. A week later, I had two feet of water in bsmt and had to buy a new boiler and water heater. Plus, had to spend a week at a hotel. Their tech said he didn't do it but no one else would have unplugged the sump pump. So they decided they would not accept responsibility. Yet, no one else would have done. Having work done at house but not in that part of the bsmt. Think he gravitated to first plug he saw, unplugged it and when machine would not reach, he unplugged it to look for a different one and forgot to plug sump back in. But no way he could have made a mistake according to Haller. Funny how the first person I talked to told me to file with my insurance and they would subrogate against them. Hmmm, for perfect employees he seemed to know the word subrogation pretty well. Problems before? And, get this - they sent out company to set up heaters and dehumidifiers to dry out bsmt and led me to believe they would accept responsibility. And, they asked if they could make it right and install new boiler and water heater. I said I would think about it. The next day risk manager called to say they were not accepting responsibility because they believe their tech. Why would he lie? They were not going to pay for the restoration co at first until I pointed out not my fault they jumped the gun and sent them out. So I not only spent a week at a hotel, my electric for two days is ridiculously high for the fans, etc, AND the guy didn't unclog. Three days after getting back into house, had to have a plumber out and spent another $700 to fix what Haller should have plus another night in hotel bc could not use toilet or sink or shower. Overall, their service has cost me almost $10,000 bc my insurance does not cover and a few nights in a house at 55 degrees until new boiler installed If I could give negative stars, I would. We started having issues with our hot water heater recently because the water would not heat up at times. I called this company since they were the ones who installed it several years ago. We are new owners of this house so we were not familiar with Haller. When the guy came out he tried to convince us that we needed a brand-new hot water heater and wanted to charge us over $2000 for a 50 gallon tank. He really didn't do a thorough examination of the hot water heater, either. Thank goodness we got a second opinion from a local plumber who came out and adjusted a few things on the water heater. It has worked perfectly ever since! Save your money and call a plumbing company that doesn't work on commission. read more

We unfortunately purchased a house with quest piping that has a class act lawsuit back in the late 90's when we purchased the house our inspector nor the current homeowners disclosed to us that the whole house had this piping. We have currently lived here for 9 years and in those nine years we have had 5 leaks and 2 floods due to the quest piping bursting which is why it is no longer used. The reason for the delaying in getting the whole house repiped was the cost we did not have the money my mom was currently going through breast cancer treatment and we just could not afford it. Through those years and all the leaks we have called Haller multiple times some for scheduled appointments and some were emergency appointments. Each time a technician has come out they were nothing but amazing, they were all kind, very knowledgeable, good prices, and they never did anything without explaining to us what they were going to do. Today we had them out for a two day job to finally have everything repiped and as I hope this is the last time we need to call them for this I have been nothing but grateful for their amazing service I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Hello! My family has used Haller for years. They are the only ones that work on our AC units. I moved out of my parents house about 3 years ago into an older townhouse. This year it was finally time to replace the whole heating and cooling system. I'm part of Haller's One Club program. For less then my car insurance they come out and check my units twice a year and do minor repairs. The technician, (Johnathan) that came out to do the semi-annual check of my units, was extremely helpful and every knowledgeable. He used to do install, so he knew exactly what the sales rep and the installation technicians would need. The sales rep (Eddie) ask several good questions and got me exactly what i needed without overcharging me. Also, great communication between the sales rep and technician. Very impressed by their inter-company communication. My neighbor had to get their's replaced last year and i'm paying less then what they did. They even offered me a window AC unit to hold me over till my instillation date, for free. I didn't want one at first, but after a few days, I changed my mind and they where able to get me one by the end of the day. Lucky they had some window units in stock. While the install hasn't happened, yet, I know it will go smoothly. Haller is the best when it comes to Heating and Cooling in Central PA. read more

This is a TERRIBLE company. I had an appointment with them to get an estimate for electrical work. The day they were suppose to arrive they called toward the end of the day to say they are running long at the previous appointment and would have to reschedule. TWO WEEKS LATTER!!! So, I do. They come out and I give them a list of things I want done and the electrician said he would write an estimate and email it to me. Three weeks later I don't have an estimate and no phone call with any explanation. So I call. Electrician started the estimate and then quit working on it.The notes said he was going to forward it to another in house electrician. Nothing was ever done. Wow!!! Terrible customer service. Waiting to hear what the quote turns out to be. read more

I could not be less satisfied with the service I received from Haller. I had a furnace with an obvious failing gas valve. Tech came out, didn't stay long enough for it to cycle and I still got charged for the visit. I never received a statement of services, only a bill in the mail. To add insult to injury, I got a quote to replace the honeywell gas valve and was quoted over $850. I looked up the part online got it for $150 and replaced it myself in 15 minutes. Absolute highway robbery. I will never use Haller again and I will never recommend anyone else do so. Still had to give the their money for showing up and telling me what I already knew. read more

haller in harrisburg area is the worse i have even experienced, don't get them through home depot otherwise you will end up paying more than average. they warranty to get the job done after i paid in full, but turn out i ended up paying $300 for nothing, my outdoor heat pump unit still not fixed. read more

The company does not put customers first. It is big enough to have an investment in customer relations but it does not. I have a service contract that I pay for monthly - "One Call" - supposedly giving me good access. They expect you to take the day off and wait from 8-5 for the tech to show up as they will not even give you a narrower "morning" or "afternoon". There are scheduling systems they could use if they cared. read more

My daughter called Haller early Sunday morning (7/21/19) because it appeared her A/C was going out. Temp inside was 76 and creeping up and outside A/C unit was "buzzing". She had a 4 week old newborn and a 3 year old. She was told that the on call tech would call and arrange for the service. Throughout the day, she made numerous calls (6 calls) in an attempt to find out when the tech would arrive. She was told that they had to call additional people in and the manager was coming in to help with the calls. This scenario continued until 8 PM when the person she spoke with told her that they would not be able to make it that day and it would be Monday before they got to her. They also told her that temperature in the house could reach 100 and that she should probably not stay there. She then called Neffsville P&H who arrived IN 40 MINUTES and determined that a capacitor needed replacement. Here are my thoughts on this: 1) I understand it was the hottest day of the year and Haller was probably overwhelmed, but my daughter had started calling early Sunday morning and they were unable to tell her when a tech could arrive until 12 hours later when they said they could not come until the next day. 2) She had a newborn and a 3 year old (which she mentioned several times) but was not given any courtesy to even provide an arrival time. 3) She was told they had over 300 calls. Even so it would seem that she would have been placed somewhere in the list that Haller could have given her an idea of arrival time (or if they would even be able to make it) so that she could call someone else rather than waiting 12 hours to discover they weren't coming. 4) It would seem that Neffsville P&H would have had a similar high volume of issues to answer due to the hot weather, but they were able to respond within 40 minutes. 5) In 2016, Haller responded to a similar call at her house (in July) within an hour and replaced the same capacitor. This tells me 2 things, their service quality has severely declined in the last couple years and the capacitor they replaced then should have lasted more than 3 years. read more

Bought a NEW Trane heat pump for heat and AC in August 2015. Was replaced 2 months later!!Also was talked in to "Atmosair" because the tech/salesman said I had the "m" word in the old unit. That was an extra $1700. So $7000 and 8 months later here we are with a broken coil evaporator. Only 2 months into the season my NEW Trane unit is useless and said to have a huge leak. So we call on Friday, 86° out humid, they say they don't have the part in stock!! Big company and they say a very common part won't be in until next week. Sit in your hot humid house until Teusday. So I finally get a manager "Don" to call me. I tell him our situation and he offers me one window unit!!! He said maybe two if he has another!! Its a 3 bedroom 1800 sq foot house! Not money for a hotel room or a partial refund, but a window unit, "free of charge" he says. Wow thanks Don! The easiest and most professional part of my interactions with them was the sales process. They were more than willing to take my $7000 and now I'll be on my 3rd unit inside of 10 months and without AC when you need the most for at least 4 days. That's ok Don offered me 2 window units. Communication is awful. If you want to get lost in a sea of different people every time you call this is the place for you. They are nice over the phone but only get back to you when you call a few times. Worst conpany I've ever dealt with in any capacity. Machines break--I understand that--but 3 times in 10 months?! Imagine if you bought a new high end car and it broke 3 times before you even had it a year? And broke when you needed it most!! My guess is these are retread refurbished and used units that they are selling to unsuspecting customers. Please spread the word to anyone you care about to NOT consider them. The only thing they are good at is taking your money! $7000 worth of business and they offer you a USED window airconditioner you can get at Walmart for 99$. Every portion of events that I described to you is 100% the way it went down. Please if you don't want to throw your money out the window DON'T use Haller!! read more

Used Haller twice...new water heater and check and tune up heat pump system. Both times they were extreeeeemly professional, did a wonderful job and left the place cleaner than when they came. A little pricey but well worth the extra in peace of mind that both jobs were done as well as it could have been done. I will not hesitate to use them again ! What I liked most was that they didn't try to "sell" me more services as some of the other cheaper guys do when the come in with their $99 specials. In the past it seemed like these service techs get extra commission if they can convince you to do something you don't necessarily need. read more

Haller replaced my HVAC in August of 2019-liked the sales rep, he was good with my questions and follow up and they did a good job with installation. The next year in the summer of 2020, there was a small issue caused by a contractor doing work on my siding ( a wire was disconnected) and the AC was shut off. Had to call them (they tightened a wire) and they would not combine that visit with the regular check up (they say is needed to maintain the warranty), so I had to pay the $79. twice plus another 50. for fixing the loosened wire. Fastforward to August of 2021. Puddle of water on the floor and filter soaked with water. (Keep in mind I have a warranty from Home Depot to cover work for 3 years). Turns out water not properly draining into the cement floor. The option was to put a drain line to the outside, but that would have cost of $1400. Technician takes a long drill bit (that swished things around) into the hole in the floor to loosen any blockage and charged me $180. to do that (took less than one minute) plus the $79. for the visit. (He said this might work or not.) Asked again if this could be my yearly check up (to maintain the warranty) and said "no," --even though he inspected both the AC and Heating unit. So I will have to pay the $79 again for someone to do a basic check up. This also begs the question, why did you not put the proper drain in with the installation? Do all HVAC firms nickel and dime you? I will be looking for someone who is more reasonable. read more

I've been utilizing Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical firms for over 30 years in my commercial & residential properties...Haller Enterprises are in the 'upper echelon' of exquisite, 'over the top' & excellent service...from the approach they use in answering the phones, confirming appointments, rapid service, having 'appropriate/as needed' conversations with you before the repairs/replacements are made, 'follow-up', standing 'in front' of (as well as 'behind') their services, products, customer satisfaction, etc.!...definitely a 'breath of fresh air'!...Bob Sinton read more

Update on Haller Enterprises review: Haller contacted me in response to the letter I sent to their CEO. They apologized for the problems and offered to help to pay for the excess utility bills I experienced as a result of their failure to insulate/close off the ceiling vents. The check arrived this week. I applaud their willingness to correct the situation and will cautiously consider having them maintain the new geothermal system. It is unfortunate that this happened; rebuilding trust takes time and a number of positive experiences. Better to perform well and not have to overcome negative results. I'll provide additional updates if I decide to use them for system maintenance. read more

I had them out August of 2018 where they charged me 125.00 to tell me that my AC was cooling fine. Never checked the furnace and never checked to see if the furnace was blowing cold. Turned the AC on this year and it was not blowing cold. My husband opened the furnace to find something wrapped around the fan, removed it and it was blowing a heck of a lot better. This should have been found in August not by my husband! AC not blowing cold this week, called them and asked what the charges were, $119.00 to come out and then whatever repairs are. Tech says I need Freon and he cannot tell me what the Freon charge will be before he does it but the first pound is $91.00 and each additional is $45.00. Get my bill and there is another fee of $99.00, even the office had no idea why, come to find out that is the techs fee to install the Freon. Never told me that would be on there, didn't care that he slid that fee in. In all it cost me over $400.00 to just get 3 lbs of Freon. Lets not mention they told me that I HAD to be there at 2pm because they had NOTHING later only for me to sit at the house for 40 minutes waiting on a tech. Would not recommend them at all. read more

Haller Enterprises replaced my central air Conditioner with stellar service. The consultation provided by Alex was courteous, informative and straightforward. As a single parent and a fairly new homeowner of a flipped house, Alex explained my whole HVAC system and provided options for my new central unit. Zach and Shane were amazing repairman. They identified an issue with the furnace blower motor, which was probably the issue all along. Shane and Zach waited until the motor was brought to my home. They replaced the motor without thinking twice. Both were professional, courteous, and informative. They both explained their work in detail after completion. Responsive, but very high prices. The service techs make commissions on sales, so expect them to give you hard sell on all kinds of stuff.

Horrible experience, took over 3 weeks to fix a problem that was supposed to take 1 day. They ordered wrong parts, took 3 attempts to diagnose problem correctly, over-promised and under-delivered. It took 6 months to send me a bill(which by the way, wasn't even itemized), and when they did, they threatened collection action. Very unprofessional company that I will never deal with again read more

Had a heating and cooling system installed by Haller a little over a year ago. At the beginning of this summer I noticed that the air conditioning was having a bit of a problem keeping the house cooler than 75 degrees. Called Haller and they sent a technician to check it out. I have a Nest smart thermostat, which by the way I really like, and when the tech arrived the first thing he said, before even looking at anything, was that the issue was probably with the thermostat because they shut off when no one's home????? That of course was totally ridiculous and I said to him so that means that I can never leave the house when the system is running hahahahaha? The tech then went to the basement and found a very small refrigerant leak in a coil in the air handler. He said that this could have happened when the system was installed or possibly a few months ago or even just recently, he didn't know for sure. He told me that it would be at least a 5 hour repair job and that it will cost approximately 1000 dollars to fix (final estimate from Haller was $1074). He checked with the office and was told that my warranty on parts was still good but my labor warranty had run out. I said that if this could have possibly happened during the install or sometime during the warranty period and since you can't determine that why should I have to pay for it? The tech said that he was just the messenger and there was nothing that he could do about it. I called Haller Enterprises to speak with someone in charge but they refused to speak with me and had a customer service rep tell me that there was nothing they could do about it. In the end I called a REPUTABLE plumbing/heating company and they fixed the issue in two hours for 399 dollars. read more

I had them come in, through Home Depot, to give me an estimate for replacement of oil boiler and possibly putting in air conditioning. They came in at nearly nine grand for the boiler and I think fifteen to twenty eight for the air condition system. When I read over the estimate, I was confused because they gave me two different quotes for the air. The oil boiler was double of any other quote I received for an equal to better system. I e-mailed Mr. Weiss and asked him to explain the estimates. He assured, via e-mail, that he would call me later that day. He never did. I caution anyone with this company because they seem to charge double if not triple what it should cost to have heating or cooling installed. read more

This was one of the worst experiences a new home owner could have. To start from the first appointment where the tech who arrived was provided a work order that was far from accurate. We asked for a HVAC estimate and he was told it was to change out a backup water tank. Than after a poor attitude we had an estimate. After we accepted, we had to wait over a month to get an answer from the install department in York. I had called the contact there every day for over a week and was never called back. From there I went to the cooperate website were I had informed them of my situation. Next day the store manager called me to setup an appointment for the install. Installers themselves were fantastic and friendly. It has been almost a year and I was informed we were to get emails or calls to maintenance for the system and a 9 month to a year certificate on a "tune up", This has not happened. Again I had to reach out to the website since at this point I refuse to call the local store due to the incompetence. From this point on I do not recommend Haller to anyone in the York area. read more

The A/C salesman was very professional and helpful, got me the best price available. The installers were on time, very professional, informative, fast and clean. Central air conditioning working very well. Would recommend. read more

I had an EXCELLENT&VERY PROFESSIONAL experience with this company. My parents(Seniors with a lot of medial issues) live 4 hours away from where I live and I had 3 Free estimates on installing a new LP furnace and I choose this company because my Mother had informed me out of the 3 Consultants from different companies that came to her home to do estimates, Sam Altdoerffer took the time and was the most thorough with his inspection of her existing Heating system then the other 2 companies,I received all 3 estimates, out of all 3 the only one that was itemized in detail was Sam's, you knew exactly what you are paying for. I DID NOT want my parents taken advantage of because of being elderly. I communicated with Sam via Email and he was very prompt with answers for all my questions. So scheduled an appointment and had installation completed. Informed that was on time, completed in a timely matter and completed everything that was agreed to,cleaned everything after the installation and made sure everything was working properly before leaving according to my Mother. I also would like to add that the 3 estimates were close to the same dollar amount but like I said the only one that was completely itemized was Sam's, so I don't know if there estimates were for the whole complete heating system or just a furnace. After discussing system with Sam it ended up being $400.00 less and was a complete heating system not just a furnace. My parents heating system was in bad shape, not safe or efficient in my opinion, because when I visited earlier in the year I noticed that it wasn't running quietly and now my mom said you can't even hear when it's running. I am confident that when it needs serviced in years to come that the service will done just as professional, prompt and @ a fair price. read more

We bought a central air system from Haller a couple of years ago. Installation on the pad was poor at best. A year later the water draining system started leaking from within the plenum and we called for service. "One call does it all" Right? WRONG. They said they do not service our area.---They were fine taking payment from our area but would not service the unit despite the warrenty. Stay away from this company. read more

I have been using Haller HVAC several years and the experience is not so bad before this week. Actually every year the maintenance technicians are very nice and did a really good job, as least from a layman view. Although most of them were selling their other services I don't think necessary, I was not bothered by this kind of advertisement, even too much. My previous experience of repairs with haller gave me the feeling they charged very high, but not terrible. This time my furnace failed and young technician made some checks then suggested me to replace the whole HVAC system. Everybody knows how much it will cost,at least 10k. My friend recommended one of maintenance technicians. Problem was fixed in a very short time, just several hundred. As I wrote to the company survey when I cancelled the membership, a company good reputation is not constructed by its customers, but itself! In other words, the only person that destroy the company is not the customer, but itself read more

Be careful. We pay the annual service fee, and every time we service last 4 years AC and furnace has always needed parts. Funny thing is, once we finally said no to parts, just the following year a different service man, that part that supposedly needed changed the year prior was just fine, but a different part needed replaced. Needless to say, we will no longer be renew our annual contract. It never fails, prior to moving into our location 6 years ago nothing was ever service and no part was ever replaced, now it is is every year we are spending hundreds of extra dollars in addition to the annual fee. If you dont get a recommended repalcement they always tell you, " if we have to come back in 2 months to replace it will cost you hundreds more because they have tocome out on a service call". So then you fear sabatoge, or threatened parts will def fail and it will cost you a fortune. Here is my suggeestion be careful. My family only runs an AC unit on average 3 months and maybe 5months a year of heat annually, always hire HVAC that have good reputations by word of mouth. The only thing I will say is that they are timely. However this year no one called me for my annual service I keep a tight schedule, so this month when no one called I had to reach out to them to come do our annual service. Obviously they dont need our business that bad anyway. I will continue to warn peers about this company and our experiences. read more
