At that point, I held out hope that my Chilean sea bass might at least redeem the evening. No such luck. Salty again. Even the mushroom risotto- which actually had delicious flavor, was overpowered by too much salt. By then, after one appetizer and two entrées all salty, we figured dessert would at least save the night. Nope. I ordered profiteroles with chocolate gelato instead of vanilla and was truly looking forward to them. Except, the profiteroles were rock hard. The chocolate drizzle tasted like Hershey's syrup, making the dessert taste cheap for a restaurant of this type. My husband, who always goes for sorbet, ordered the mango flavor- but to me it tasted like an unripe mango blended with sugar just to make it palatable.. If you're from the Caribbean or know a true mango taste, you know exactly what I mean. And don't even get me started on the cocktails- they tasted more like juice than actual drinks.
