these cookies are far from the best on the planet. Keep a trash can close because you will want to spit them out. Too doughy for taste.

Upon first entering, the "shoppe" ( it gave off the vibe like I need to spell it that way) had ample seating, ample customer space,, good lighting for display, and was very clean. Apologies in advance...we forgot to stop eating and take pictures of the food. Suffice to say that whatever I describe next is worth the culinary experience. I ordered the Matcha Iced Tea (OMG ) with a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. I believe that even the bread was made on site. When it came out it was HUGE. I had to share it with my friend. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) My friend ordered a hot Dirty Chai ( ZERO COMPLAINTS). Our food order was taken and brought to us by very pleasant and professional staff. Thumbs up I will return, even if I have to make this be a weekend routine stop.

I found this close by and dropped in to see what they had. They make a good cappuccino, and I also got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Everything was pleasant, with fair prices. This was a nice discovery. There's a private parking lot in front which is convenient. I would recommend if you're in the area.

I had my first ever macaroon in France, so I'm picky about them. Jordan gets the taste and consistency just right!

Had a fun fall day at Weed Orchards and Winery this past weekend with my friends!…read more First off, I'd recommend buying tickets online beforehand because they are cheaper when you buy them online. Upon coming in, you will be guided by the workers on where to park. The parking lot is on a field of grass right in front of the entrance. Prices on the bags vary depending on whether you're apple picking, grape picking, or flower picking; as well as the size of the bags. This orchard consists of different types of activities such as fruit picking, hay rides, dining, drinking, playground for kids, and a small animal farm. They have plenty of drink options like, beer, wine, cider, and non alcoholic beverages. Their cafe menu is limited, but they have a food truck if you want more options. My friends and I ordered... 1. Black Cherry hard cider on tap: This was good; not too sweet and not too strong in terms of alcohol taste. Rate 7/10. 2. Chicken tenders w/fries: The tenders and were fries were average; it tasted like your classic tenders and fries, nothing special. Rate 6/10. 3. Truffle Fries: These were yummy! They had a strong truffle taste which was delicious. Rate 8.5/10. 4. Beef Empanadas: This included 2 empanadas and they both were very tasty! The flavor was great, and the breading was super crispy! Rate 8.5/10. *all the food portions were a generous amount; however; they were a bit pricey.* Lastly, they have a small bakery w/ their baked goods, homemade jams, and ice cream. From their bakery we ordered... 1. Apple cider donuts: These come in 6; they were warm and soft, and had a great apple cider flavor. Rate 7/10. 2. Peanut Butter Cup Cookie: This was delicious! It had a strong peanut butter flavor which I love; and the cookie was nice and soft! Rate 8.5/10. Overall, this orchard is such a fun place to spend time with friends, family, partner, and your dog since it is pet friendly! There are so many awesome things to do, and lots of perfect photo opportunities! I'd definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for an exciting fall activity to do!

My only complaint is that I did not get what I expected. The only thing that was really bad is that I ordered NY Style cheesecake with raspberry glaze When I had it when we got home there was no glaze and the cheesecake was not good. More recently, a coworker of mine mentioned she had dined here. Hubs and I had just finished with a gender reveal party in Stony Point and decided to come here then afterwards head up home. Ship L. has a warm, woodsy charm with dark woods, a large bar area to the right as you enter Ship L and has a spacious dining area on the left with an old-school energy that feels just right for a long-standing rest'nt like this one. Service was great from everyone: friendly, attentive and welcoming all around. That said, awesome service and history can only carry a restaurant but so far. We were told their long-standing chef of 30+ yrs either resigned(?) or didn't want to work here(?) and based on what my coworker told me- that she noticed a difference in the cooking not too long ago when she came here. Sadly, it shows. Our escargots were extremely salty. My husband's pork chop was salty. His vegetables also salty. At that point, I held out hope that my Chilean sea bass might at least redeem the evening. No such luck. Salty again. Even the mushroom risotto- which actually had delicious flavor, was overpowered by too much salt. By then, after one appetizer and two entrées all salty, we figured dessert would at least save the night. Nope. I ordered profiteroles with chocolate gelato instead of vanilla and was truly looking forward to them. Except, the profiteroles were rock hard. The chocolate drizzle tasted like Hershey's syrup, making the dessert taste cheap for a restaurant of this type. My husband, who always goes for sorbet, ordered the mango flavor- but to me it tasted like an unripe mango blended with sugar just to make it palatable.. If you're from the Caribbean or know a true mango taste, you know exactly what I mean. And don't even get me started on the cocktails- they tasted more like juice than actual drinks. At the end of the night, we realized we weren't imagining things. A $245 dinner with weak cocktails, overly salty food and disappointing desserts was no balance for a restaurant with such a long-standing history. For that reason... we out.
