The great was great, and the vegan cheese was some of the better I've had on pizza. The meatballs didn't really taste like meatballs, but they were yummy. We got a pizza and two pastas family style and they were all so good, my favorite of the night was the sweet potato pasta! Well-dressed and well executed. Pizzas were ok, was under impressed with the pepperoni/ vodka which sounded amazing on paper but was light on the pepperoni and on the actual flavor. Pastas were tasty and popular with our group, but to me over priced for what they were - pasta with little to no meat for $28-$30. Service was poor... our server ("Hannah") had troubles landing the hot honey to accompany the pizza on our table and it landed on me and another person in our party, ruining my shirt and pants. An apology never came and no effort to make it right or acknowledge the mistake, I guess the guaranteed tip for large parties provided little incentive for our server to provide adequate customer service. IMO, Drinks were overpriced and small (a 12 ounce draft beer for $10???). Gufo translates to "owl"... cute! Based on my experience I'd rename it "Goof-Up" because that was my personal experience. Hope you have a better experience.

It is his childhood favorite (the thin slices) and the measure by which all others are rated. We arrived during lunch... 8-or-so person line that moved quickly. A well-oiled machine. We ordered slices - apparently, only available a la Sicilian, not thin: pepperoni, sausage, mushroom. All three were served room temperature and the cheese had already re-solidified into a tasteless rubbery blob. Maybe that's what pizza is out here. For my first East Coast pizza, I was really hoping it WAS going to be the best pizza I've ever had (until I get to NYC, of course). There were a few tables enjoying hot and gooey thin slice round pizzas that looked amazing. They were also being eaten by grown ups. Maybe that's where we went wrong. Did we order from the kid's menu? Maybe we chose badly? Maybe we were so close to the door that the slices siezed up before we got them in our mouths? If this is the best you've got, I don't need to try another pizza in the whole state.

This is the kind of spot I love. A selection of around 12 taps or so and all bangers!!! They had 4 offerings at the time from Messorem. If you're a hophead and haven't had this brewery yet, find their stuff asap. You're welcome! Just based on the beer, this would be 5 stars but then you add in wood fired pizzas that were excellent! I just had a disappointing pizza experience at Area 4 (rated 4.4, one of the highest in the area)…read more My sister even said she preferred dining hall food, and we both agreed that Domino's was better. The service was poor from the start. The waitress told us we would be seated at the bar. She rolled her eyes and appeared visibly annoyed when I asked if it was okay that my sister was under 21. She said it was fine as long as we didn't order drinks, then seated us at the bar. We were only given drink menus. When the bartender came over to take our order, I had to ask for a food menu myself. Our seating was also uncomfortable. We were placed right next to the bar/server station. My sister got splashed when drinks were being opened, and servers repeatedly bumped into her chair while passing. We ordered the Carnivore pizza. The pizza itself was quite salty. The dough was decent, but not impressive. I kept trying to convince myself it was good, but it fell short. Pizza: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Would I return? I did not have a reservation, but I was please to have been accommodated in the bar. Even though it was the first couple of sits by the entrance and it was cold and every time someone walked in or out, we'd get chilly. To start, we tried the arancini and the Brussels sprouts. The arancini had a strong, pungent, cheese in the middle and it was not as crispy as I was expecting. It was good, just not my favorite. On the other hand, the Brussels sprouts were amazing. I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. For the mains, we had bolognese pasta with beef and pork and a pepperoni pizza with some modifications. The pasta was cooked al dente, how I like it, and the meat and tomato sauce had amazing flavors. I thought it was a delicious dish, albeit it was a bit salty. For the pepperoni pizza, we added mushrooms and jalapeños as a modification. The dough felt a little undercooked, and the pizza was a little soggy perhaps from the jalapeño juice. It was an ok pizza but I was expecting great from a $30 pizza. The espresso martini was great. I think maybe I have to come back again and try different things. Overall we got two hits and two misses + a great drink.

I haven't been to this establishment in a few years and had asked about a specific slice of pizza that is now only served on Fridays. After getting my answer, he asked if I had called. This is absolutely unacceptable to say to anyone let alone a customer. I was in shock and froze. I thought to myself how extremely rude that was - and unmerited. I ended up still going forward with my purchase but regret every second of it. The pizza did not taste good, after all this idiot left a horrible taste in my mouth.
