I love stores like Home Sense. It is a great place to browse and get great ideas for your home…read more This Home Sense is located in North Wales just off of 309 in the Airport Square shopping center. To be honest, it looks like a knock-off version of Home Goods. They carry very similar items. If you see something you like, you better get it than because their stock changes all the time. They carry nice lamps, chairs, pictures, things for the kitchen, flowers etc. The prices are pretty reasonable, too. If you are looking to shop on a budget, Home Sense is a great place to shop.

This is definitely the spot if you're looking for larger items - lighting, furniture, rugs - these bigger items are more readily available in comparison to TjMaxx and Homegoods and Marshall's. This time I went and their holiday section was amazing, the artwork was very lacking but we did manage to pick up an ottoman which was really nice and a fair price! They had one employee at the door and she was a sweetheart but my cashier was a young girl who was very abrasive. She was not at all friendly and got very short with me because I could not hear her and was frustrated with me because of that and because I guess I was using an award that wasn't scanning which meant she had to do more work. She wasn't very nice. I'll still be back especially if I need furniture - I just hope the employees will all be more friendly.

I removed a star because it is a bit too far away and lots of stores have closed due to COVID. But you still have almost every imaginable business. Prices tend to be high but you can still find some deals. Rush hour is brutal so visit during non-peak hours.

It's enormous and from what I was told they are still developing and only on phase one at this time. I hate shopping and I detest malls and I find shopping here a true delight, so easy to roam around, with beautiful store fronts, street lamps and sidewalks lined with flowers and benches The courtyards are filled with well maintained lawns and plenty of activities, especially for the kiddies. During the warmer months they host a Farmer's Market which is rapidly growing allowing local vendors to sell their fresh produce, baked goods and crafts. Many shops with names you are familiar with, including Victoria's and Borders, plus plenty of unique one of a kind shops line the streets and make it a breeze to browse or run in and out. It's almost a one stop shopping center with a Wegman's Grocery and shops galore that have almost anything you may be looking for. Plenty of restaurants and eateries inside this center make it hard to choose, from pizza to ice cream, Ted Montana's Grill, P.F. Chang's, Chipolte Mexican Grill, The Melting Pot, Panera Bread are all ready to feed you. I've been here for wine tasting's at various shops, I love their Farmer's Market and anxiously await them setting up shop, it's a quaint village that makes me happy to go shopping and I love that they are Eco-friendly.

I tracked down the manager who refused to price the item for me. A manager has the ability to price the item but whether they will or not is a different story. I still found some great cheap items. This store is heavy on clothes- that's not my thing- some items were extremely expensive- like worn shirts for toddlers for 2.99- for 1$ more I can buy brand new garanimals clothes from Walmart which is what I did. I had a box of Lincoln logs in my cart and a man shopping there told me he had a tub of them in his car he was going to donate. He offered them to me and I gladly accepted. Lincoln Logs are classic Toys! Double Aces and kind fortune for me! I love Liberty Thrift!

They should remove "thrift store" from their name and just say it's an antique store. Plus, when thrift stores do this, they think that they can just look up dealer asking prices on Ebay and that's the value. WRONG. Dealer asking prices are totally unrelated to finalized sale prices that buyers are actual willing to pay. The store workers are not trained and don't take condition, size, color, age, etc. into account. They just find what they think looks the same and then mark it similar to dealer asking prices. I can find the same items cheaper on Ebay. This trend that "thrift" stores are doing nowadays is so dumb. No wonder the store was virtually empty of customers!

I've done KOP, Willow Grove, and Montgomery Mall so far. Montgomery Mall is just.... Sad. It was practically empty, dark lit, and just felt like a downer. You can tell a lot of stores have left the mall and the food court is horrific. It has only like 2 options left and they look bad. This poor mall needs someone to put it out of its misery.

The mall is on the far outskirts of the Philadelphia Metro area, but it's a further drive then it looks from Interstate 476. Parking isn't an issue with it having more than enough. Montgomery Mall is internally, externally, and store wise bland. For a two-story mall, it has nothing that stands out. The food court has a few stalls left, but several vacant. During my visit, the elevator was out of service along with several escalators. Anchor store shopping is about the only thing still holding on here, as Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, Macy's, Wegmans, and H&M all have locations here. The former Sears remains vacant. Will Montgomery Mall still be here in five years? Probably but who knows what will be left on the inside. You have to seriously consider taking the drive to Willow Grove Park Mall, King of Prussia Mall, or even Lehigh Valley Mall if you are looking to do any mall shopping.

This is now a DOLLAR TREE (I believe) anyway - and it is handy to have a Dollar Store around when…read moreyou need one. Being that D-town (that's Doylestown for you newbies) is a fairly affluent area and most folks probably don't shop at Dollar Stores all too often, I can tell you that this one (in New Britain) is way better than the cheesy Dollar Store in D-town next to CVS and Fosters. However - this Dollar store does not have the helium balloon options that the one in D-town does. Anyhow, we go here from time to time to pick up obscure items - often for parties (like cheap plastic wine glasses - 6 for a buck) - or greeting cards (I guess I am too cheap to care enough to send the very best. Take that, you money-grubbing HALLMARK bastards.) The lines can very very long and slow going here - so don't come if you are in a hurry. As with most dollar stores, it's a true case of you get what you pay for. Often it's cheap, poorly made CRAP - but sometimes - that's just what I need. I mean where else can I get "puffy foam stickers" for my kids Pre-K class at the same time as I get some inexpensive votive holders. Do not EVER buy consumable goods (like food or drink) at a Dollar store. Just don't. 'Kay? Oh - and if you are planning a wedding and are crafty you can sometimes supplement your trips to AC Moore and Michael's with Dollar store goodies. I got really CHEAP favor bags at a dollar store in Philly. (Not here - but I just thought I'd mention it.) Be resourceful, yelpers! We're in a recession ya know!
