Owner has a rudeness kind of nature , seems aggravated when requesting her to rotate old jewelry case which has been broken for years. Aggravating to her to request her to rotate display case at entrance when there is a mixed variation of small toys . To top it all off when asking for price of items she doesn't know and looks on EBay to compare prices, but not necessarily over all conditions. As you shop and holds item in her possession continues searching internet and periodically raising cost . No signs to verify who the donations go toward or any type of donation receipt. What group or association prospers from store donations? Which percentage? Fix or remove the old jewelry case if such a burden !!! read more

I knew nothing about the store but found a pricy rare Item almost sold out everywhere. i took a risk and I do not regret it. One of the best service from a toy, collectible store I ever had. Fast shipping, fast communication, item handled with care and in great condition. I would buy again with them anytime. I've been here a few times and its a pretty neat concept. A store that sales used toys. However, the items can be over priced for the quality. They sale children's toys and baby items that are always on sale from 20 to 75% off depending on the tag color. But depending on the mark down price of the item it may not be worth it. My 11 year old didn't bother to get anything because he noticed the items he considered were damaged and weren't worth the cost. These toys can be found in any other goodwill and the unique ones are priced close to new quality. I do feel that they need to offer a public restroom. The last time I was told a store did not have a public restroom must've been a century ago. I've never been to a store that cosigns used clothes or toys that does not offer a bathroom for the public to use. I'm expecting a baby in a few days and the individual I asked was aware as she asked when I was due while I was trying to shop. I'm assuming it was the owner because she was delegating duties to the associate and trying to straighten everything up around the store. My 8 year old had to go and she couldn't hold it. I also had to go. I was directed to the laundromat a few doors down. I wouldn't return. Its just courteous or nice customer service to let a pregnant woman that's due any minute and a child use the restroom. If its such a concern an associate can walk the customer to the bathroom and wait while they come out then walk them back to the front of the store OR you can offer a public restroom like other stores. The experience left a bad impression because if you ever been pregnant and have a child that has to use the restroom..you have to go right then and there. read more

What a Gem! The staff make you feel like you are the only customer no matter how busy the store is and much help you require. On the morning of Christmas Eve I found everything I needed for my four grandchildren at wonderful prices. I come here every time I go to visit the grandparents. I've been able to score lots of amazing deals with a teeny bit of hunting - a Montessori weaning chair (Joni Craft) for $35, a Tag truck for $18, lots of really charming books (2 for $1) - some vintage (Waldorf-y) and others more modern, little plastic animals, and a giant stuffed Melissa and Doug Penguin (brand new) for $1. I also spied bulk Legos that you can buy by the pailful, bulk crayons, bikes, sleds, car seats, baby carriers, potties, wooden puppet theatres, puzzles, games (which are labeled as with all their pieces or noted if there are some missing), American dolls, school materials, and some clothes. We're always trying to keep out kiddo's eco footprint small - and we find that preloved toys are a wonderful way to do this. Prices here are outrageous! Many of the used items are marked way over retail (i.e. $20 for a used Thomas train because 'they retail for 21.99 at Toys R' Us!') The place is loaded with stuff that doesn't move because the pricing is just crazy. Strollers they sell at slightly less than Toys R' Us retail but same as or more than Amazon pricing. Why would I buy something here that's used when I can sit home in my pajamas and have it delivered to my door for less? Their sales are totally false; green is 50% off, but not books, action figures, video games, and other things. read more

My three year old has a love affair with Troll dolls. Replay found me the most fantastic ever troll dolls making me a hero to my Grandaughter Jade. Wonderful place to buy secondhand toys in great condition, at great prices from great people. The owner Antoinnette and her sister are great people to deal with. The rest of their staff as well are very knowledgeable and very polite. I personally collect vintage toys and Lego mini figures. I really thought I was the most knowledgeable person on what I collected until I met Antoinnette. She will go out of her way to help you find what you're looking for as well as the rest of her staff and give you a great price as well. I try to stop in there as often as I can. They do consignment but you must call and make an appointment because the store is always busy and loaded with people. I highly recommend the store for collectors or people with children looking for that special toy that may cost too much brand-new at Toys "R" Us. Always a great experience.... read more

Both items had important pieces missing and were over priced. In one instance, I paid more for the item (without realizing it until later) than it sells for on Amazon. Got a Phil & Ted double stroller here for $100 - a pretty darn good price. The owner was super helpful and accommodating. She held the stroller for us until we arrived and she answered all our questions (and we had many) to the best of her ability. Prices here are very high for used items. They do have some vintage items, however they are often broken, missing pieces, etc. They have an odd system of pricing, i.e. when they have sales, the items marked, "Sale" are not reduced. Go figure. It is possible to find a deal here, just be prepared to dig through a lot of stuff to find it. read more

I purchased a game from this store and the game board and pieces were missing. As soon as I got home I called the store to notify them of the missing pieces. I was told a manager would call me first thing Monday morning. I never got a call. By Monday afternoon, I drove to the store only to be accused of possibly taking the pieces myself. I was told we could look in the boxes ourself prior to buying yet, all the merchandise is taped. After years of buying there, they lost my business. In my opinion, their customer service is less than mediocre. Owner acted as if she was doing me a favor by giving me the pieces to make the $35 game board complete. Ha. What a shame...I've bought things here many times, but no longer. Trying to consign here is HORRIBLE. After making an appointment a month in advance, calling the owner Antoinette three separate times to confirm she would take various items (so as not to waste anyone's time), cleaning, bagging, and labeling items...I left my appointment in frustration, after being accused of lying, and decided not to consign anything at all. I had barely walked in the door when employee Emily told me they were "only taking ride-ons." As I questioned her further, it expanded to "only taking outdoor play" - when I brought in a snap and go stroller, I was told that they will take that. Umm, I thought you only took ride-ons????? Emily asked who I scheduled my appointment with and I told her Antoinette - I told her I spoke to Antoinette three separate times to confirm what they would take - and this was the final straw, she said, "that's not possible, she's the owner, she would have told you that we were only accepting ride-ons." Emily accused me of lying and was beyond rude throughout the entire interaction. I love nothing more than supporting local, small business and am deeply saddened that I can no longer support this store. They do NOT know how to treat people. read more

Purchased battery-operated toy (employee turned it on once and it worked for her), but I didn't even get the chance to check the toy out before purchasing it. Employee took toy to counter while I looked at clothing. I should have thought to double-check that batteries were working before purchasing it. When I got home the toy would not work. Opened it up, noticed white residue inside battery compartment, cleaned off residue, put in new batteries and it still wouldn't work. Went back to store asking for exchange for other toy like it. Owner refuses to take responsibility because she claims they always clean out battery compartment of all battery-operated toys, and that it worked in the store. If that is true then why was there battery residue inside toy when I opened it up. Basically she is telling me I am lying. I have been a customer several times in the past and have decided I will never trust anything they have for sale again. They lost my business forever! I feel like I was cheated! I am not impressed with this store at all. Every time I go there, I hope that it will be better, but it's not. As a mother of 3 small children, I am always looking for a good bargain, but this store has all of the junky toys I have gotten rid of over the years and then some. Also, the store seems cluttered and unorganized. It's kind of like a big garage sale with every toy you ever wanted to get rid of while your kids are in school and not home to see you pack them away. Also, the staff seems very unprofessional. They always seems to be complaining about something or somebody every time I am there. Just not a comfortable or enjoyable shopping environment. And by the way, if you're looking to buy a sled with broken handles, this is your place. The store is large, bright, and brimming with a huge assortment of mostly gently used to some ruggedly used toys, most of which are fairly priced. The owners run sales constantly so a slightly higher priced item immediately comes down to a real bargain level. While one would expect to find a broad range of toys and baby accessories in a well-run consignment shop, one would not always expect to receive Bloomingdale's- quality assistance. Well, that is exactly what Replay Toys offers! Where else can one call ahead with a wish list' of items.and arrive to find all of them waiting for her? I have called several times to inquire about a specific item and the sales person or owner took the time to search the store for me to locate it and, if it was not available, told me to call back in a week.
