I called multiple times after that and no one picked up. I left another voicemail today (6/16/23) and received a text message in response letting me know they didn't have any availability on the date in question. I thanked them but mentioned that it would have been nice to receive a response sooner so we could make alternate plans, and they replied by saying that their family comes first and that they were busy with high school graduations and kids coming home from college. While I agree that family should be a top priority, I feel that this was very unprofessional and not at all the way to run a business/treat potential customers. Now we're stuck trying to find something else to do at the last minute.

Not only has the owner brought in locally made pieces (think hand knit sweaters and smocked dresses), but she also carries fabulous children's designers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Beth (the owner) kindly indulged me in my grandmother fantasy, and happily introduced me to some of the great books and games she carries, too. I left with a "Letters to my Grandchild" book - the first of many purchases to come, I'm sure.

She also features clothing made by local seamstresses and knitters. I appreciate being able to support local artisans in this way. She also has a generous return policy for items that do not work out for whatever reason--unusual for a small business. With so much on line shopping, we are fortunate to have this small shop with a beautiful selection and great service.

We were your prime audience, your target market and we didn't feel like it mattered we were there. Ask how old our child is, know what sorts of things kids that age need! Pay attention to your customers! The sales clerks were very interested in talking to each other about their Christmas store design for the 20 mins we were shopping. Hope it's as cute as you say it is - we won't be coming back anytime soon.

Most of the sweatshirts were $40-$50. Didn't look at any specialty items like sweaters or capes. Unfortunately the hat I got as a gift doesn't work for the recipient so I'll be calling about their return policy since their online website only states online return policy. I'll probably keep the hat myself since it would cost more for me to drive back there since I'm in Jersey. Reason for 4 stars is mostly due to the experience I had I came at 4:30 on a Sunday night. The store closes at 5. The lady working really didn't want me there and didn't say anything to me until I approached her after a few minutes needing help. We started chatting but she was very wishy washy not giving me clear answers, telling me that I can call back when the manager is there. It was probably a one off thing and she was just tired from the night but it rubbed me the wrong way.
