All Nordstrom Racks are not the same. This particular location is clean and staff is friendly. Their stock is decent. But inventory moves quickly so you need to check back often. Like other Nordstrom Racks, most of their merchandise is made specifically for the Rack stores. They are not the same quality as a Nordstrom store. That being said, the Rack stores do at times receive merchandise from the Nordstrom stores to clear out. You can identify items from the Nordstrom stores by their price tags. read more

Nordstrom Rack - Department Stores Near Me - Willow Grove, Pennsylvania

I've loved the addition of the Nordstrom Rack to the Willow Grove Mall ever since it first opened. Recently though I've found that the layout of the store is a little off. They're also not carrying as high quality products as I remember them doing so - for example their "beauty" area is a lot of rejected products and the no name brands gifts type items. Their security is also a tad creepy and the employees in the fitting room are very unprofessional. There were so many of them back there none of them got me a room or asked for my items when I was done but they all kept talking and talking the entire time I was in there - seemed like they were treating it as a social gathering spot rather than a place of work and it also made me feel uncomfortable as if they were talking about me. I still love the Rack but do wish it was restored to its glory days after it first opened, it was much nicer then. read more

I love the Nordstrom Rack, they tons of great designer deals! Nordstorm Rack is the highlight of the Willow Grove Mall. This particular Nordstrom Rack is very clean and well organized. Each section is clearly labeled. The staff here is great, and they never let the lines get to long. It is located on the third floor, and tucked away from most of the other stores, so it hasn't been too crowded when I've been there. During my last trip here they announced that if you find an item in their store in the wrong size- they will search Nordstrom Racks nationwide to see if another store has your item in your size- and they ship for free! Some of my most recent successes include coral Cole Haan flats for $30 and a huge tube of Bliss lotion for $20. Make sure you check the clearance areas- great deals! read more

This review is making me give a star! They don't deserve any!!! Terrible customer service at this location! The manager on duty as well as the two female employees that worked tonight (March 4th, 2019) were very rude and unprofessional! I am beyond appalled at their actions towards their customers (Me and my friend)! How can someone work for such an amazing company have such an ugly attitude? Nordstrom Rack is a cute store. You can find some designer names at reasonable prices if you take your time to look. The staff was helpful, I was given a north face jacket that was too large for me, I had the online receipt and was able to exchange for store credit. I ended up leaving with a new pair of jeans, a hoodie, a light jacket and the best dress socks I ever owned. It turns out getting my gift a couple sizes too large was a blessing in disguise because it gave me the chance to shop at Nordstrom's. read more

Nordstrom Rack opened at the Willow Grove Mall a little more than a year ago and judging from the steady stream of customers, it looks like company officials made a very prudent investment. The chief selling point of the Rack (which is a euphemism for outlet in my view) is to offer name-brand goods from the upscale Nordstrom department store at reduced cost. At this store, you will find items for men, women, and children. Aside from clothing, they also sell jewelry, shoes and other accessories. One thing that I noticed is how the sales associates here are very friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to help out the customer in any way possible. Now that I am thinking about it, the Rack reminds me of TJ Maxx. It makes a lot of sense that Nordstrom decided to enter this space given the fact that TJ Maxx is doing extraordinarily well in the off-price department store business. read more

I don't think any retail place has ever made me as furious as this place did. Their software, policy and customer service are all outdated - both online and in store. And in due time, Amazon will eat up their profit (and probably already has) and they will wonder why. Bad customer service and outdated software - cancelling an online order with no notifications. No justification for cancelling the order, and why no notifications was given either. What kind of customer service is this? They really need to update their software. Bad customer service and outdated policy - in store manager refuses to punch in gift card number even though she can clearly see that the gift card was made out to me from my phone (what's the difference if I punch the gift card number in through an online checkout vs. in person check out? - this is why the policy is outdated). Additionally, manager gave snarky comments saying that "I can but I wont" when asked why she can't type it in. Manager also tried to mock me while I attempted to explain why I dont have a physical copy of the gift card (due to them cancelling my order which I used the gift card on). She stated that this happen to her too. Please dont say she is trying to sympathize. Bad customer service = bad customer relationship = business else where. Do they not understand this simple logic? Oh, where do I begin... Today, I returned an online purchase, that I received yesterday, to the Nordstrom Rack store in Willow Grove, PA. I didn't have to wait in line as the cashier waved the flag at her register as soon as I walked up with a sodden expression on her face to let me know she was available. Wow, waived a flag - now I get it after my experience. The cashier, her name, 11843588, asked for my email address, and I told her that it's on file, she wouldn't let up and I told her that I did not give it when I was there previously and received emails. She didn't like that I wasn't obeying her authority it seemed and may have rolled her eyes. Next, she was staring at the numbers trying to make sense of the simple receipt and the merchandise only returning two of the items and told me my refund was X. I exclaimed that there are two more items. She then tried to return the next item, at which point after, again, trying to make sense of the screen, tells me that the item is past 100 and some odd days return policy. I said WHAT! I just received these items yesterday. She doesn't know what to do now, and I am considered irate, since I raised my voice, and the manager is called. I confirmed that the manager was called, because obviously intervention was needed. The next cashier, her name, 11779998, wearing dollar store flip flops, and, I guess, trendy frayed, purposely ripped/cut cropped jeans, t-shirt and a do-rag looking like she just cleaned toilets tells her that she will ring up the rest of my return, and gives me an attitude. With that, the manager, Brianna (who was dressed better), comes over and tells me we don't tolerate the raising of the voice, while she and the other cashier were holding my returned merchandise hostage. I was actually being bullied by a bunch of snowflakes (see urban dictionary) in a store for returning merchandise. It was so difficult to keep my mouth shut just to get my refund and get the heck out of there. You can never argue with a snowflake, it's equivalent to trying to reason with a 4 year old who wants to eat a bag of candy. The whole experience was incredibly bizarre and out-of-line. Did I mention that the big dummy security guard came over to try to intervene as if it were a bar room brawl. I'm thinking WHAT IS GOING ON???, AM I ON CANDID CAMERA!. I'm sure they all immediately took a break and ran back to their "safe-room" and had cupcakes and punch or crack. I finally got out of there with my refunds and called Nordstrom to voice my complaint. My complaint is supposed to be emailed to the district manager, but come on, what is really going to be done - they may even get a chuckle out of it. The thought process of yesteryear used to be the customer is always right. If you have a receipt and the corresponding merchandise, HERE IS A TIP: NOTHING SHOULD BE SAID TO THE CUSTOMER AT ALL EXCEPT, THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY!!! GOT IT!!! I thought Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack were a bit classier than Walmart. To my surprise that is absolutely not the case these days, it is a completely Ghetto check-out experience - one that will leave you puzzled. Not only that, the store looks like a thrift store. Too bad they cannot get anyone to work there with a higher than 75 IQ with 100 being average or is it that they just don't care. It saddens me to see the devolution of the human race and this is just a microcosm of the big picture. I couldn't even believe what these creatures were wearing and their demeanor. To add icing on the cake, I then stopped at TJMaxx in Abington, PA, which is down the road and the worst dumpster of a TJMaxx store. You should have seen the bed clothes these cashiers were wearing, think faded black t-shirt, your oldest, tightest sweat pants, and pink locker room flip flops. I couldn't believe my eyes!!! I had a incident there with my 7 year daughter on the weekend of 7/22/16. The reason why I waited a few days was I was steamed and furious , so I waited a little to word the situation correctly. I called after Memorial Day weekend to speak to one of the store managers. I had got in contact with a lady that was very nice and polite. I asked about the return policy because I recently bought a pair of summer sandals that strap fell apart 20 minutes after I had it on my feet and got out a car. I realize that when I went into a event that sandals were buckling and the one was on and the other part of the shoe was broken off . The mgr said that I could return the shoes as long as I had my credit card or debit card that I used or a receipt which I did not because every time you go to there and purchase something the customer service is careless about your receipt so you either get it in your hand if you pay attention or they throw it in the bag. So, of coarse I told her thank you and proceeded with coming to return my purchase . When my daughter and I arrived in the shoe last weekend we went straight to the customer service and there as usual was a long line . Being close enough to the next call a middle age asks us if we needed help and refer us to a employee that had a smaller device for us to checkout with. He was nice looked up our names and credit card and at first, I asked for my money to be put on the card but after seeing how polite he was I just asked if I could go on with looking for another shoe at value or higher price and he said just carried the shoes with me. Cool no problem, Right? So my daughter and I went through a couple hundred pairs of shoes, sneakers, sandals,boots,. As , we searched a couple of employees walked passed , one was doing his job collecting shoes in and out of inventory I actually gave him a pair of pumps that heels were hanging off. I said to him excuse me there is something wrong with this shoe and he said I do not see anything and He walked up closer and notice that heels were falling apart and then he said ok I will take that . Anyways, finally I found a pair that was a size bigger than my normal size but fitted like my size. You have to understand the shoes here are irregular , fall apart, easy, and are marked down brand shoes. As my daughter enter the line again we decided to take the side we were told to go to the last time. There was a cashier that argued with me about were I was supposed to be in the line . I told her I was here before and went to go get a shoe , she was rude and said I will take you over there.So after she couldn't attend to my services she asked the other employee for help then called a mgr and she arrived . Well, how nasty was this shoe manager. She was unprofessional,disrespectful, and looked tired. Her hair was real scary, with $ 5.00 hair color trying to cover her grays and she looked tacky. Probably, not the person you would asked for a fashion sense!! She was unfamiliar with the shoe and accused of never purchasing the shoes there stating that the shoes were "cheap" in so many words because that is how she looked at them .She reviewed everything that I ever bought in the store and said that she couldn't find my ticket. I begged her millions of times to looked at the computer and then for her to get smart she stated the months according to the year . The shoe mgr even tryed to called the guy that knew I made the purchase but, he left for the day. The shoe mgr also said that the guy that first took my shoes was new meaning he did not know what he was doing!! I thought that was mean!! After telling her several times and yelling at the top of my lungs, she looked at the little scanner and guessed what!! She found my order and of coarse she was sorry 30 minutes later. Wow!! I'm giving Nordstrom Rack 5 stars for customer service. Nevermind the fact I walked out of there with 4 pairs of boots/booties omg, but there was a salesperson there who asked me if I needed a cart and went to get one for me. While I was walking behind him, he said, "No, you keep shopping." I was like wow! He quickly returned with my cart of shoes. They made an announcement to let shoppers know the store would be closing while I was in the check out line. There was a woman behind me who complained about the manner in which Nordstrom informed customers of the store closing. I just want to highlight the customer service given by the cashier. She was calm and polite when dealing with the customer who was disgruntled for NO REASON. If the mall closes at 9, be prepared to leave at 9. The cashier allowed the customer to continue shopping. I was impressed. When I left the store at 9:10pm, the disgruntled customer still continued to shop regardless of the store policies. Again, very impressed. read more
