In March I had a day off and decided to go shopping with some of my friends to purchase a ring. After shopping for about 30 minutes I found a ring I really liked. It was "sterling silver" with a black gem on it. I had wore that ring for my everyday jewelry, and unfortunately about a week ago I was at work and went to pick up a hotel pan to wash it and the whole ring bent and was not fit-able on my finger any longer after that. I paid over 45-50$ for it but did not have receipt with me when returning it, because I never would think a "sterling silver" ring for that much would ever bend from picking up a 1 pound hotel pan, knowing its every day wearing jewelry. When I asked to return it or to receive store credit, the lady FIRST told me I would be getting store credit for it, but then called the owner and then switched her story, and blamed it on me and saying I'm the reason the ring was bent in half. She told me it looked like it was ran over by a car. Which definitely did not happen and she did not believe my story about the ring, which is unfortunate and unprofessional. At the end of the day it's very frustrating that there was nothing worked out, knowing I work hard for my money and wanted to reward myself and now that is down the drain. I wish the business owners were more understanding. Will not be coming back and will not recommend.

Diving Cat is a seriously eclectic, funky, new-age-y, hippie store with lots of cool jewelry, home items, art, candles, soaps, perfumes, statues, even mobiles and prisms. The store does a very good job grouping items by category - Namaste and Yoga in one area, Judacia in another, items related to cats, items related to dogs, mystical items, etc. Yeah, just my kind of place. The store has a good deal of inventory and it's not very large, but it's not uncomfortable unless it's very crowded. They even have "Honey" seats outside for partners who are waiting for the other to finish oohing and aahing. Staff were nice, unobtrusive but helpful when needed. I got some very delicious smelling perfume in a steampunk - cool flask and a badass name (OK badass for a mid-life Main Line Mom). It's in 'downtown' Phoenixville, on the same block as the Colonial Theater. Parking is street and tight, better to find a lot just off the 'main drag' and walk.
