We loved everything about this teahouse! The decorating was terrific-there was not one detail overlooked. It was still decorated for Christmas and sugar cubes had holly on them! Tea bag cookie and Santa hat were also adorable touches with the sweets. I had 2 different caffeinated teas and my friend had 2 decaffeinated. We had the full tea and the quiche, salad, sandwiches and treats were all amazing and the perfect size. There's parking in the back, but also on the street. Great service with Dana (I think that was her name).

Just had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend tea with my family! This teahouse is so cute! Decorations start in the parking lot with tea pots everywhere. This weekend was a set menu. There was peach cobbler tea and Paris tea. The first course was a salad with apples and walnuts alongside a macaroni and cheese quiche. You read that right! I never had anything quite like that quiche, and I promise you, our ramekins were scraped empty! It was the best bite of the afternoon for sure. Then came a lemon scone with cream and raspberry curd. Delicious. Then came the tower of sandwiches and cakes. Cucumber sandwich, egg salad sandwich, Waldorf chicken salad sandwich, salmon mousse sandwich, and various desserts. We were stuffed and will definitely come again. The staff was so friendly, coming around to the tables and offering conversation, we felt very welcome.

This was the cutest place ever!! There's some parking in the back but also street parking wasn't too bad either. The WHOLEEEE place is decorated head to toe, like not a space was spared. It's gorgeous and welcoming and the people were so kind. The food was delicious and our tea included soup and salad in the beginning as well as a full teapot and lots of desserts. I didn't feel rushed ever and left really full and happy. Would def recommend reservations!!

This is a true Traditional tea experience! The scones are fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are also made fresh and served with lovely desserts. The teas are incredible! My favorite teas were the hibiscus and oak barrel bourbon. Our server Kim went above and beyond to make sure our table of friends had the best experience. The atmosphere and creative decorations are welcoming and unique. Highly recommended experience!

Cute tea pot decor outside.

We had the most lovely afternoon tea to celebrate my Mom's birthday today! The decor at the village tea house is just adorable and makes the perfect setting for tea. The selection of teas is fantastic and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner while we were there. It was just delicious! I think the quiche might be the best quiche I have ever had. It was light and fluffy with delicious fall flavors. My second favorite were their custom "tea" cookies! A perfect cookie!

I have been here many times and always have an enjoyable meal and experience. I like that the menu is different monthly which changes things up each visit. I also enjoy that they let you change out what flavor tea you got after you have finished a pot.

Staff, service, food, and vibes at Village Teahouse were beyond my expectations. Their tea menu was extensive and a lot to choose from. Ranging from florals to sweet to herbals. We chose a tea meal so we were able to get unlimited refills and they gave you the option to choose new teas for each refill. We Specifically choose the Katherine Tea Meal and the tier of food is adorable! We each got our own teapot and went through ~3 refills each and tried each other's tea. Staff was super sweet and attentive. They made sure we were taken care of and got our refills right away! Typically it is a 2 hour seating, but we did not feel rushed and had enough time to spill tea with each other They also have a small gift shop when you enter the building and this place gave off a victorian tea house vibe. Tip: make sure to make a reservation ahead of time! Definitely an experience to try!

This is the most fantastic teahouse in the area. The atmosphere is so intimate and eclectic. The perfect environment to enjoy their wide selection of teas. And the food is fantastic, perfect balance of traditional tea fare with some interesting takes on the classics. And our server Rosemary was so wonderful!

Incredible service, warm ambience and yummy food, the Village Teahouse is worth the journey! I particularly enjoyed the tea sandwiches: each a tiny work of art! And the desserts were beautiful and delicious. We loved the St. Nick tea.

I took my grandchildren here for lunch and they had such a great experience . The food was very good and the tea was as well.

Ask the Community - The Village Teahouse

Hello: are the meals per person or for two people? Thanks

The meals are per person.

I know the menu changes, what are some examples of sandwiches they've served?

They always serve a cucumber sandwich and an egg sandwich. I had chicken salad, a roasted red pepper spread, and a corned beef and swiss cheese the last time I was there.

Are there any gluten free options?

Hi Katie. Thanks for this question. We do certainly have gluten free options with an advance reservation (at least 48 hours). When you call to make a reservation, please let us know you are gluten free and we will note the reservation. Thanks so… Read more

The bacon added a nice crunch, and everything was layered well so it didn't fall apart while eating. Overall, the portion was generous and filling, definitely worth the price. We didn't stay, I felt that was rude and dismissive. My wife and I did come back today because they open at 10am on Sundays. The food was absolutely horrible. We ordered the eggroll sampler and fried pickles as an app. The eggrolls were tasteless, and the fried pickles were so greasy we couldn't eat them. Then on to the entrees, I ordered the brunch burger and my wife the French toast with bacon. French toast is what it is...not much you can do (and I still question my wife about ordering it). The burger, flavorless and overcooked. To make this experience better, the bacon for my wife's side and on my burger...completely raw. The food took a long time to come out, so no excuses. The service was good and I don't blame them for this. But far too many missteps. This is not just a mistake on one item...this is a restaurant that's lost its way.

While it was crowded we were waited on quickly and had service that was attentive but not overbearing. We started with cinnamon rolls that were perfectly soft and warm and came with a side of extra icing, which was a really nice touch. For lunch I had shrimp and grits. The flavor was good and presentation was nice. The shrimp were small, but there was a generous amount which helped offset the size. The space is open and has a nice mix of tables and booths. There are a lot of large windows, and it was freezing on the day we went so the restaurant interior was also freezing. They do have a fireplace, which is a nice touch, but didn't help with warmth. Overall this is a great spot with a wide variety of food options and would be ideal for families. Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5

I settled for the house cold brew, which was great. Love that it came in its own flask and a coffee cube. I also requested milk on the side in lieu of creamer or sweet foam. Both the Nashville spicy honey wrap and the chicken pesto panini hit the spot. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely go for the Nashville wrap again. That sweet, savory, and very mildly spicy chicken was just *chef's kiss* Service was fast, and our server was super sweet and attentive! We enjoyed a wonderful brunch, and I'd be keen on coming back again.

We both found beverages and food that suited our preferences (it should be noted that the menu offers a variety of options). My son declared that his burger was one of the best he has ever had! I enjoyed my turkey club, but I think a more accurate name would be " Turkey Blt with Avocado on Ciabatta" because that is what the sandwich is. Regardless, I would order it again. We ordered the pork belly bao buns for an app. The pork was painfully dry and the buns themselves were also dry and brittle. We do not recommend at all. My husband got the shepards pie and it was the best shepards pie either of us have ever had. Would be open to trying again but hope the food quality is more consistent next time.

My only issue is that they tend to fall apart when you try to pick them up. I usually have to eat mine with a fork because they crumble so easily.
