The ambiance was beautiful, the owner decorates herself. However the owner is not a people person and rude. I also saw many other reviews say the same. I know inflation is happening but $34.95 for 2 small scones, 5 tea sandwiches, a half cup of soup as you see in my pictures and two desserts with a pot of tea is a lot of money. 3 people with tip $127. I give 2 stars instead of one for the delectable scones, the one dessert and the decor. The tea sandwiches were ok, nothing to write home about. Other than that, I recommend going to Tilly Mint Tea Room for a superb High tea that includes more and the owner is delightful. Forgot to mention that lemon curd and jelly are not served.

    Hauntingly good dessert.

Had a hauntingly hood time at the Halloween tea at the Talking Teacup yesterday. The food was outstanding and the scones are to die for! If you come at Halloween be prepared to greet s few ghostly friends!

Service was absolutely top notch. Very friendly staff that made for an immersive and seamless experience Very cozy decor, and lots of it The three teas we tried were great, but a pot per person was a little more than we needed The scones and desserts were very good. The sandwiches were good too Didn't use the restroom so can't speak to that but overall we had a very nice experience. Only complaint was that portions were on the smaller side. Makes for a good light breakfast or lunch spot but don't come expecting a large hearty meal. Very expensive but made for a very pleasant Mother's Day lunch

Somehow I recently learned of The Talking Teacup and made a reservation for their 3-year anniversary tea. The tea house is cute outside and in. The staff are amazing and very attentive. The tea included 3 courses along with a var of teas. They had delicious chocolate and almond scones, honey vanilla and white chocolate scones; an array of tea sandwiches including chicken salad, egg salad, red pepper, cucumber and herb, and a shepherds pie tartlet. The desserts were a tea cookie, a toffee bar, and an amazing tea and honey infused crème brûlée. The owner changes out the decor on a seasonal basis. I loved the gnome in the woods theme!

We just had my daughter's Bridal Shower at The Talking Teacup. Patti, the owner and the staff were amazing. The food was soo delicious, everyone raved about it. The ambiance was beautiful, warm and welcoming. Patti from the start asked me what I wanted and helped make that a reality. It was truly a magical day. It was a relaxing mingling shower and not sit down service which allowed my daughter to relax and talk to everyone. We would highly recommend for your shower or other private events.

My family has been to the Talking Teacup on three occasions (Halloween, Christmas, and Mothers Day). Each experience was unique, including the menu which was different each time we visited. Their homemade soup is to die for (we loved the roasted pepper tomato bisque on Mother's Day and the broccoli cheddar during the Christmas holidays). The scones are served fresh and warm, the tea sandwiches are flavorful and served in unique shapes, and the desserts win for both taste and presentation. The staff is friendly, and explains each menu item as they're brought out. And the inside of the teahouse is cozy, quaint and beautifully decorated. We live about 45 minutes away and have tried several other tea houses, but the Talking Teacup is our personal favorite! It's a great value for the experience and we always leave with very full and satisfied tummies.

I happened to stumble upon Bagel Barn while heading to a doctor's appointment, and I'm glad I did--I found the needle. This place is 100% legit. These bagels have exactly what I look for: that deep, dark-baked color and a distinct crust on the outside, opening up to that perfect, characteristic chew that only a real NY-style bagel possesses. The Standouts: The Everything Bagel: A classic that does not disappoint. The Everything Asiago: Stop the presses! This is a hidden gem and a total must-try. The Cold Brew: I won't even ask how they make it; something that good just deserves to be paired with an amazing bagel. The "Purist" Test: On my first visit, they asked if I wanted my bagel toasted. As a purist, if the bagels are being made fresh, I don't want them toasted unless I'm eating them days later at home. The fact that this bagel held up perfectly without being toasted proved to me that this is, hands down, the best place to buy bagels in the area. The Service: The cherry on top is the ownership and the staff. I've been in three times now, and the team is consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you, Bagel Barn, for bringing a real piece of home to PA!

If you're not a "regular" which it seemed half the people were and half weren't - it's not clear where to go in here for online orders. So I went right up to the line. The workers were super helpful and friendly and there were a lot of them. After checking in and moving to the side I saw they had a spot for online orders to the side. Again not super noticeable but some regulars were directing people. I ordered online and I really liked the options they had. I got an omelette - the radiator and made it a sandwich. This particular your sandwich they recommended as a sandwich so they had the option to make it that. I added bacon and had it on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The bagel was like super soft - it definitely was not a normal bagel texture. It felt more like eating a sweet roll as it was sweet too. I liked they they had a lot of flavor options but there was no like crispness to the bagel it was just like soft and chewy which was unusual. Ordered another omelette for my fiancé - the regular. Did it with sausage. Didn't seem to be a lot of meat in it. I would have loved this on a sandwich but it's not an option for that for some reason so the bagel was on the side and he just stacked it himself. They did serve fresh hot coffee - would have loved more coffee options. I'll have to give it another go because I want to try some of the other flavors they have and see if I order plain bagels if it's more of a texture I'm used to. This place seems to be popping and I think the food was good but the bagel texture was just weird.
