I met a sales woman who introduced me to the owner. When I said I was new in town both ladies were all over me with great customer service promising to contact me when new things came in etc.. That is until some ladies I assumed to be regulars walked in. I was left in the dressing room totally forgotten. When I came out it was as though I wasn't even there. In the words of Julia Roberts "BIG MISTAKE, BIG". I wrote down the brands of the items I found interesting and walked out unnoticed. She told us the shirt retailed for $82 which was a bold faced lie because it actually retails for $20. Since F was in Phoenixville on business, I figured I could dash in and check to see if it was still there. When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. I love when someone goes above and beyond what is expected in order to help a customer. Kudos to you Lulu...I will be back.

Today I had the very best experience at In Full Swing! This shop is truly something special. I originally stopped in just to drop off a big clothing donation... but I ended up staying to shop! A few days each month their prices drop an extra 50% off, and I scored 7 items for just $24. Most pieces I grabbed were $4, and a few were only $1 even with original store tags still on them! This store feels nothing like a typical thrift shop. It's clean, beautifully organized, and has a real boutique vibe. The staff and volunteers are the best. They are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help you find unique items. They even went into the back and tried to find me some off season items for a trip. There are spacious fitting rooms, size-inclusive racks (I saw sizes 2-24), and everything is clearly priced and sorted. There is no rummaging here. They specialize in women's clothing and accessories, but they also have smaller sections for men, kids, and shoes. Plus, there's a lovely gold/silver jewelry case and plenty of fun costume jewelry. I can't recommend this place enough--whether you want to donate, shop, or both. I've already told several friends and can't wait to come back with them (and bring more donations!).
