While the clothes have attitude (or at least a point of view), the sales associates do not. They have been gracious and helpful every time I stop in. Last week I made the mistake of parking in the Floccos designated parking lot. The parking lot was…read moreempty and because I was in a rush didn't take the time to realize the entire lot was designated for Floccos - which was my mistake. Myself (9 months pregnant) and my mother ran our errand and returned to the car, the lot was still empty at this time. When we arrived back to the parking lot there was a man yelling and cursing profanities at us. At first I was startled and quickly scurried to the car. When I heard what he was yelling at us for parking I promptly apologized. After my apology he didn't stop screaming and cursing at us. Also threatening that he had my license plate number, I'm not what he was trying to insinuate. We were so taken aback and truly felt so threatened that we hurried into the car and left. Of course, I take full responsibility for parking in their lot but I've never in my life been screamed at and threatened by a grown man. Especially given I was viability 9 months pregnant with my mother. Absolutely disgusting and terrifying behavior.

I stopped by here on Friday night for their Ladies Night Out event that was advertised on Instagram. The admission was pre-paid online and was about $17. Checking in once I arrived was easy. I provided my name, received a wristband and was free to roam around and shop. The businesses inside sell beautiful and personalized gifts that you can't really find anywhere else (except maybe Etsy). There's also an area in the back with cookies, cakes, pies, sourdough bread and more. For the event specifically, they had a few tables set up with small bites. Soft pretzel nuggets, cookies, chips and salsa/corn dip, and quesadillas to name a few. You were entitled to one drink, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, with your ticket, too. I ordered a pineapple margarita and it was delicious! I wasn't looking for specific gifts since I already had everything I needed for Mother's Day. I ended up purchasing two cake pops (one Funfetti and one lemon) and a decorated sugar cookie shaped like a flower. The cake pops weren't eaten until yesterday and held up nicely. They were flavorful. Everything is reasonably priced, too. There is an abundance of Philadelphia sports teams merch which would be perfect for your baseball, football, basketball and hockey lovers. Additionally, I got my aura photo taken by Inner Light Aura. The photographer, Brinlee, explained the different chakras and why the colors in my photo were what they were. I had a combination of blue, violet, magenta, tan and white. At the checkout register, I was given a card that they sign and date every time you come in to shop. You get a discount after 10(?) visits, which is really nice. I highly recommend The Shops on Mill if you're looking for special and carefully curated gifts!
