I popped into Something Else the other work. I really liked how they offered both women's and mens clothing - all of which were trendy. They had a decent selection but not too much that you were overwhelmed. I would have liked to see a larger size range but for the area the merchandise they have makes sense. The items were pricey for myself personally, but again, for the area not at all especially since they were popular brands. I'm so disappointed with Something Else. I have LOVED this store. Literally, I would drive from Phoenixville to Doylestown to shop here. Despite all their brands being available either direct through the store (Free People) or other retail shops (Nordstrom), I've committed to Something Else because it's run by a small business owner. Today, I was let down. I had scheduled a girls day with my mom which included shopping here. My mom had a few returns. Apparently it had been ~35 days since her purchase and the policy is ~21 days. I appreciate policy; however, I'm in the customer service business and fully recognize some instances require an exception. A few things to note: 1. It was very recent since the original purchase. 2. My mom alone spends a TON of money in this store - as do I, and her girlfriends, all of whom she has personally introduced the store to (in other words, she's always sending business to this company). 3. Upon pushback from the associates, we asked the girl to call the owner - Kristin. Kristin shockingly denied the return request (FOR STORE CREDIT) because of the "quick turnover of clothes on the floor". I actually buy into this logic - HOWEVER, WHAT MY MOM WAS RETURNING WAS, IN FACT, STILL ON THE FLOOR. It candidly felt like a bad canned response. I'm shocked they wouldn't make an exception for a (very) frequent customer. The girls behind the desk were also difficult when we were showing some store credit we have (which, incidentally, was given to us as a result of spending so much money there). At this point, we are struggling to find a reason to shop here. Big retailers have better sales, larger selections, and significantly better return policy. We used to shop here for the small business owner, but will not anymore as a result of how we were treated. read more

Wow, I had no idea Doylestown had such a shopping scene! I happened to park across from this business on Friday afternoon, and when I saw the Free People sign I had to pop in for a look. Since I was with my husband I tried to make it quick, but I could have easily spent a half hour or more combing through everything in the store. They stock a variety of recognizable brands and I thought everything was priced fairly. I ended up with a pair of cute, lightweight pants that I can't wait to break out in warmer months! I look forward to future Doylestown visits and more shopping at this awesome boutique! read more

For how nice everyone seems when you're there, I'm very disappointed in their sympathy. It was like 25 degrees the one day and I needed a jacket so I bought one there, but when I got home , I realized it didn't match much of my other clothing. I came back exactly 7 days later for my full refund (which is their return policy) but the lady said she remembered seeing me wear it out so I couldn't return it. I'm guessing the other two jackets I tried on while I was there couldn't be sold either since I wore them. read more

Literally my favorite boutique ever!!! I drive 40 min and worth it every time for their unique and quality pieces with such a variety. Cute, youthful and trendy finds in the middle of Doylestown. Down from Boston for the weekend for my sister's baby shower. Walked in thinking I wasn't going to fit in anything (petite and curvy) and it was going to be the Talbots dress for the party. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find something that fit perfectly (long cream and floral strapless dress) at the last minute at a decent price! Free People, Kendra Scott and Lush fill the walls. Owner was nice and helped me (in a non-pushy) accessorize. So take a chance and walk in! read more

While visiting Doylestown, PA I wandered into this shop to look for some fun things for my teenage grand-daughter. WOW! This shop is so beautiful and diverse! Everything from clothing to accessories and jewelry was tasteful, fun and right on trend! Store owner Kristen helped me find some great things that are new and edgy and well made. She took time with me and made great suggestions. Her customer service is exemplary! I hope to get back to the area and she is sure to be one of my stops! read more
