I needed to buy a wedding card for an upcoming wedding and this location had the card I wanted, so I placed an online order for pickup. When I arrived, there was only one cashier at the register, so I had to wait a bit to be helped. A woman who was pushing a cart of cards asked if I had a question (since I wasn't holding anything in my hands) and I told her I was picking up my online order. She grabbed it for me and had me sign the pickup and I was out the door (super quick). The employee was really kind/friendly.

(I usually go to the Jamison location). But they had completely remodeled and I honestly am a little sad. It doesn't look like classic hallmark anymore but instead boutique. It is a bit roomier which is nice as before it was a bit crowded. They still have the cards in the back but the cash rep is now in the middle and there's lots of glass fixtures flanking the front. It felt a little cold - rather than the old homey hallmark. They had a decent selection of items after Christmas but it'll be interesting to see post holiday, the merchandising that they do with the new setup. The staff was very pleasant and I was able to score a lot of great deals post Christmas! I usually stock up very very early in the season as soon as the items come out and then again afterward. Luckily it looks like the card selection hasn't diminished.

The woman who answered the phone was so nice, not at all what I was expecting. She was patient and courteous. She said she would make a note to deliver before 3pm. In the past when I called other florists they would be so quick and borderline rude telling me they are very busy and not really even pay attention. Well to my surprise less than 45min later I received a call from my mother thanking me and describing how beautiful the flowers were. She seemed a LITTLE stuck up, I think it was just her attitude a little bit? I thought that the cards did not seem too stocked though (maybe only 2 cards left for each card I took a look at). Feeling very concerned about the corporate gift order I placed, finally I opened a paypal dispute in hopes of getting more information. It is bare and bright and makes them look like a shop for big brands rather than their own products. Most of the staff here is nice, occasionally there is one older lady who is not, but generally they're all nice. They have Vera Bradley, Alex and Ani, Yankee, and many other "big ticket" brands sold here that a lot of the other Hallmark's do not. I have been coming here since I was a little kid and will continue to do so.

Russell Gardens Center in Churchville, Bucks County, Pa., may not be the largest nursery garden…read moreplantation in the region, but in my estimation it is one of the best. I have been shopping here since moving to Bucks and starting a garden around the house (The enterprise is never done). Originally, I was tipped off to its existence by a nurseryman friend who helped me with design and bare root tree planting. He swore by Russell's for perennials and colorful annuals and shrubs that most other dealers either lacked, or only possessed in inferior quality. As an example, twenty years ago I bought a small pot of Coreopsis, a hardy fern-like leafy base with yellow star flowers that bloom in late June/early July, and spread to fill any space they are in. Yesterday, I returned to see what was new in this native American beauty. Now, they are available in a few shades of red/orange, and most strikingly, in a red/yellow flower that is breathtaking in its simplicity and kinship to its elder cousin. Love at first sight. It is now planted across the walkway from the original, and it is easy to imagine its growth over the coming years. We purchased 3 other low growing, shade loving varieties to replace the old builder's grade junipers that had run their course. Three Heuchera with rich dark maroon/gray foliage, two Veronica (Speedwell) that push up spikes of pale blue to indigo flowers in early June, and three low dark green/purple grasses that spread through their roots to cover bare soil and need little maintenance. They are all happily in place beneath the living room window. Always more work to do. Plans call for a redo of the west side foundation plantings. Russell Gardens will get the call as we lay out our plans. Their inventory, knowledge and understanding of gardens and gardeners, makes it the place I trust most with suggestions and products. Prices are about the same as the other shops. Russell Gardens is why we dig in the earth.
