Once inside my first impression was Wow, where are all the chimes, figurines and other assorted dust catchers that are common in most other stores here. I was also surprised that you could walk around without worry of knocking over abundant displays of gaudy knick knacks. Instead you will see what in my uncouth opinion were very cool accent items. Not that I have any kind of decorating savvy, but the right person could pick out some decorations that would go well in modern or semi modern rooms. A place like this could even inspire a slob like me to redo a room or two in a way that hipster friends would be proud. I think my favorite items were the various vases and containers that held flowering bulbs or dried flowers. The staff was really welcoming and not at all snobby, as I'd imagined they'd be after I saw the decor and prices. I look forward to returning to Left Bank Home!
