This job required blue jeans, an article of clothing he previously shunned. I knew we'd need a variety of sizes and cuts for him to figure out what was most comfortable. So off we go to Old Navy, me happily and him looking like he was in the Bataan Death March. He's not a clothes shopper. As expected, they had their Wall Of Jeans, grouped by cut. We got there early, just after opening. What was surprising and disappointing was the disarray on the shelves. Jeans heaped in piles. Sizes all over the place. Sizes plain old missing. If looked like the end of a busy day, not the start. I plowed through, sending Sir Grumpy off to try on different cuts and measurements. Fairly...almost too quickly- he deemed a pair or two "perfect". Fine. I then browsed for some shorts for me, found a few great pairs. Done. This particular location is cavernous, as it was a Penn Fruit grocery store in a previous life. It's decent laid out and well lit. The staff were fine. Where it fell short though was in the disarray- either poor restocks no management, or none. Given that the big is an odd size tight now I likely will be going elsewhere in the future, where the stocking is better and the size availability is complete.

We came in on a Saturday to find a welcoming staff during an on-site event that was promoting a local non-profit, with a portion of proceeds benefiting them. They had snacks and beverages, including champagne, rose, beer, hot cider, and Spindrift. They also had a small kids table with coloring books and a ton of crayons. Not to mention the live music that was getting set up. The staff were helpful. Pointing out where some different options may be in the store, sizes, etc., and chatted about things we had in common (like our dogs -- oh yeah, they're dog friendly, btw, and even had milk bones for the doggos). They were never pushy even though we spent over an hour in the store. We eventually decided on a few pieces we liked and they easily checked us out without a fuss. I did notice that they also gift wrapped another person's purchase too. While the clothes may not be your style or may be inaccessible from a price point, they are very nice quality, look and feel great, and you'll be treated like a normal person assuming you treat them the same.

I ended up purchasing a Eagles winter hat for 30.00, and of course I got me a Jalen Hurts t-shirt cause I just love my QB 1!! Customer service was great! I had one store associate who let me know he was available if I needed any help upon entering the store and the cashier assisted me with finding the Jalen Hurts t-shirt. Thier t-shirts are thick and overall good quality! I may return for thier jerseys!

Rally House has a great variety of sports team apparel. They carry gear for the four big professional sports teams in Philadelphia - the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers and Flyers. However, they also carry gear for local college sports teams such as Penn State, Temple, Villanova, St. Joes, UPenn and others. This Rally House location only opened a month ago, but I have already come twice to buy presents. With the defending 2022 National League champion Phillies doing well, buying their gear is always as a present is always good choice! Rally House has a variety of Phillies gear such as a hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and jerseys. I have picked up some Phillies shirts for myself when there, too! Rally House's Eagles apparel will be popular in a few months when football season starts. Altogether, Rally House has a great variety of Philadelphia-area sports teams gear. Donna was so incredibly helpful; she not only immediately found us a sport jacket in his size and desired color (navy), but one that fit perfectly/does not need any tailoring - amazing! She was even able to find him a dress shirt and tie in his size. I highly recommend Donna and this location for great service & expertise, and their selection of suit separates in teen sizes :)

I walked in and was warmly welcomed by the young lady organizing clothes. I went to the men's section and looked around for anything I might be interested in. I came across a pair of dress pants that were 50% off. I looked around a little more and saw a few dress shirts that looked nice, but I decided not to purchase them. The cashier at checkout was nice, but not as nice as the lady who welcomed me. Parking here can be difficult as the color outside of this store is small, but hopefully that issue is resolved with the new parking lot opening soon. However, that all changes when you go the second level. You are welcomed with the sight of a few chairs, light music and many rows of footwear. I came here looking for a pair of sneakers. As stated before, I was pleasantly surprised. This DSW had Nike, Adidas, New Balance and Vans. Plus, this store was up to date with the newest trends including the popular Nike AirMax and Nike Flex. They also sold dress shoes alongside sneakers, which is something that is unusual at shoe stores today. The men's section also had hats. The men's section was above definitely above average, but the women's section was probably double the size. They had boots, women's sneakers and heels. The women's sections also had jewelry, scarves, hats and purses. The checkout line moved very fast. The cashier was also very friendly and personable. DSW also has many coupon offers if you sign up. The only downside is that they might not have your size for the pair that you want. I have to say it was really nice to walk into the store and actually be greeted by a customer service person with a smile and warm greeting. It's nice when the staff are friendly and want to help. My granddaughter found a pair that she loves and since she left happy, I am happy! I'm looking forward to coming back and finding something for me next time.
