Not exactly a crisis :) but I wanted it fixed quickly, so I Googled "custom tailor" near Rittenhouse Square. I spoke with Brian (who I later learned is the owner of this bespoke/made-to-measure shop), and he was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to get his team to make the alteration on short notice, and he even suggested a pocket square to pair with the jacket. He also took time to explain the unique work he does with clients, including their image consulting approach. The customer service was outstanding, and the experience really stood out. I fully intend to use them for made-to-measure clothing going forward, especially with the added value of their image consulting. Highly recommend if you're looking for tailoring, made-to-measure, and a more thoughtful, guided approach to personal style. Cheers!

I didn't have too much to do until my tennis, which was later in the day so I decided to come along. Robin took care of the boys by measuring them out and having them try on a tuxedo for a further viewpoint. Robin also helped pick out a pocket square that would go along with theme of the wedding. Not only are the tuxedos and pocket squares great here, but so are their dress shoes and other formal wear. They have dress pants and some nice shirts, but none of the boys got any. However, they picked up some dress shoes that were comfortably padded like a sneaker on the inside. Also, Boy's Connection offers suits and tuxedos up to size 42 so most men can get their clothes here. Altogether, Boy's Connection is a treat shop to pick up some formal wear including suits and tuxedos for the boys!

For the sports coats Jimmy's recommendations on cloth, style (1 button sport coat for me), pocket design, lining design (choose from a hundred designs or provide your own pictures for a custom lining) and choice of buttons helped me find my personal style. Next up was a smoking jacket. If you are looking for something special and unusual for a gift (or spoil yourself) this is a great choice. Again guided by Jimmy for cloth, design (jacket with robe tie closing) and pocket design a great smoking jacket was created. I didn't mention 3 three custom embroidered "sayings" you can choose for each jacket. One above each inside pocket and one "secret" location (ask Jimmy). One of my sayings..."It is what it is". Finally, new to Sagets, is their custom shoe line driven by their website. For me a black leather croc design with a ribbed sole and grey shoelaces for a high end casual shoe.
